Crescent Head is awesome for surfing with great camping sites and caravan parks. May 2022.

Crescent Head is a must see surfing and camping destination on the North Coast of Australia. Where the bush meets the sea. Excellent for longboarding and shortboards or whatever board you wanna take. Very relaxed location known to be fun. Top choice for weekend escape holiday destination from Brisbane or Sydney. Waves are often superb, locals are friendly. Beautiful natural environment. Surfing reserve. Crescent Head is a town on the east coast 340km north-northeast of Sydney in the Kempsey Shire well known as a surfers paradise and longboard dancing. Accommodation includes resorts and caravan parks with tent sites and camping grounds with great restaurants and hotels. Weather at Crescent is mostly tops there are great bush walks and the surf is free everyday.
