I made a french toast casserole for Christmas morning, and it was delicious. It had a spicy pecan nut topping, which gave it an extra touch. Love your work in the woods, and the dogs were having such fun running around.
Hello Suzanna, were those laurel trees planted many years ago or are they wild as in alder? Also, I have never seen ivy turn into a thick branch as you showed. It must be there a very long time.
The woods look so nice , and even better cleaned up .🌹
Thank you for sharing the journey of biodiversity on your land in trees, shrubs, and flowers...cats and dogs and hedgehog's too.😊

Hi Thyme!
Hi OvenMitt!
Holly heaven. A tonne of shoulder work removing that laurel. Are hollies individual trees or do they sucker? Do birds eat the berries and spread them?
Holly are trees, they spread by birds eating their fruit as well as they can spread as suckers.
Did Maya get a little bit of French Toast?
No, I don’t feeds dogs at the table

Are laurel trees a form of ivy, a parasite? 🍃
It's considered an invasive plant in Ireland, it can survive drought and shade and so out competes our native species
