I bought these to replace my Philips X2HRs because it had an ear-piercing high-end to even hear vocals at a good volume. When I got these I noticed the improvement immediately, though it did require a bit of burn-in. Tuning is excellent and the layers of detail is as well. Best $140 pair of headphones and I bet are also competitive in terms of sound quality to sub $1000 pairs.
theyre now 109$ after tax, i got mine for 116$...at that price theyre a pretty decent option/bargain. I already owned a Qudelix 5k with prior use/eq experience with KPH40i, and Coolermaster MH752 headphones. I just wanted something with MORE bass and a sound signature/tune/staging that was hard to compare/find elsewhere. I always fanted fidelio X2's but as time passed i found better options/moved on. Though i still wanted bass cannons, with proper EQ these can really blast and still have present mids/highs. These are pretty good as portables the cup design actually forms a pretty good seal with the stock pads. Though the clamp is a bit rough out of the box. Coming from Kph40i and MH752 as my portables and gaming portables, these are definitely much less comfortable. I gave away the KPH30i bc of the comfort issues i had w/glasses which the kph40 really help remedy. My Home daily setup is HD 58X so i was pretty happy when the 1more triple drivers sounded good on my hybrid tube setup and didnt need to be EQ'd or shelved with their vanilla/out of the box tuning. MH752 are very flat/boring w.o any EQ from a content consumption and gaming standpoint though they could be used as budget monitors. I got the MH752 for free from a warranty/return on dis-continued Sony XB 950n1s which broke since then i never really had bass cannon/portables until i got these 1mores this fall. I didnt really want to break the bank since the sonys were 119$, and i dont really like the 900s or 910 XB portables as much as the 950n1's sounded...they were able to scale with their on board/amp and be EQ'd in a sony app....and still be pushed on a desktop setup or a quad dac/amp phone....the newer sonys werent as good at this type of use which offered the most volume/sound performance vs pure wireless/BT. I even tried Sennheiser momentum 3's but they got stuck on airplane mode...and the weight difference of not having BT/battery powered headphones is pretty nominal. Overall these are fun...not exactly PERFRECT or for those seeking PURE PEFORMANCE/PERFECTION per $. If you have the spare cash and these are on your "wishlist/Cans to own" list.....keep an eye out for when theyre on super sale+promo code. Definitely worth owning if youre into collecting genuinely listening to heaps of music daily. Live with headphones on 24/7. These are ones to have in the rotation...i just wish i had real takstar pro 82s with bass ports myself...but at the time the coolermasters were fairly new and i needed a quick fix so i went with something that had its "lineage" well in line, just put stickers over the earcups to hide the branding. When the day comes that the earcups begin to peel ill probably mod these cups and potentially get a balanced cable/mod.
I have noticed that on my box (silver version) it also says "titanium" on them but on the 1More website it says that the silver version are made with graphene. So who knows!?! Though mine are from 3 years ago and I was told the silver were (still are?) made at that time with "graphene" and the gold ones were made out of "titanium".
Do they make fake replicas of these because I bought a pair 5 days ago on eBay for $100 from what seems to be a great seller with 100% and thousands of sales but I'm still worried because I feel the price was too good to be true.
I own the silver version (graphite version, some say the better version) for about 2 and a half years now. They are good and I do enjoy them BUT their faults do get exposed once you A/B them. I do find that these are very source dependent. I say that because when paired with my Fiio M11 DAP, the bass is not what I would call "bass head" bass (For me that's good because I'm not a "bass head") but others have said in reviews that these are "bass head" headphones. If you don't A/B them then I would say they sound great, clear and crisp and a very enjoyable sound. The included cable (non mic version) died on me after a year and a half so the cable is not that great and was a pain to find a replacement cable for them. I do enjoy using mine and for the price (I brought mine for £100 new) I can't see how these can be beat at this price point. But since owning planar IEM's (7Hz Timeless) I find it hard to go back to them. Not the fault of the headphones because before I owned them IEM's, I thought the headphones sounded very good, they still do but its still hard to go back to them for some reason (maybe I'm too used to a planar sound now?) My only concern is the company. 1More are not the most transparent company I have dealt with. I say that because I also own the Triple Driver in ears (not the best IEM in the world, very muddy sounding) and I had to buy replacement tips for them from them. When I got the tips, the design changed. I know this because I still had most of the tips left that don't fit me from when I got the IEM. I asked why they changed the design of the tips and they flat out refused that they did redesign the tips even though I could prove to them that they did. So not an honest thing to say or do so a risk worth taking? EDIT: Scrap what I said about not being able to go back to them because the mistake was on me. I had the poorly marked balance aftermarket cable that I'm using with them in the wrong way round! The sound was in reverse!!! Now they sound as good (and in some cases) even better than my daily planar IEM (that cost me double). These headphones are just stupidly good for the amount they cost and I'm glad they are a hidden gem of a headphone.
I wish I still had my Graphene ones to compare, but from what I can remember it seems the titanium is a more brighter on the top end but still has that nicely controlled bass and yes using source after source it's definitely dependent. The Gryphon and GoBar are my favorites with this one
@@jubilant_ear_reviews I really want to get another set because I like them that much but the whole confusion of what they are made of kinda puts me off. The box on the ones I got (silver) says they are made out of titanium but on the website, it says they are made out of graphite. So who knows

It is possible to use them with the laptop or cell phones or they need an amplifier?
No impedance is given even in the official site.
Yes they work fine from mobile devices
Are the earpads replaceable when they start to peel off?
Yes but there are no aftermarket Specifically for these so you'll have to find ones that fit

I haven't heard of fakes but , you never know. Perhaps 1more can verify the serial number when they come in.
Nope, 1more has been really chopping the price on these headphones down in the past few months
