Kotaro lives alone, found on Netflix. He does not leave home to prove he is strong, he is very strong but that is not why he left. I love your work but the title is very misleading in a way that I feel like I have to defend (sorry, really do love your work though)

Kotaro lives alone is one of my favorite animes I’ve ever watched it’s so wholesome I actually cried when it ended because I love this anime that much The anime is wholesome with a hint of showing how children can be unaware of their parents being abusive it shows us how to properly understand kids who are suffering though again this is one of my favorite animes I’ve ever watched

43 here, i enjoyed it. have to admit i felt it when he was at the grave.. my youngest sister got me into anime about 15 years ago, i always liked animation like Batman, Spiderman ect but, some of these are really heartwarming like you say. grateful to those that make these recaps...

Dude what child with competence is gonna watch anime? It's literally just comedy! Even if we think of it as a story with morals, I don't think telling your child to leave the house and become completely independent AT THE AGE OF 4, is a good one.

Kotaro lives alone is a sad anime but i enjoy the anime so much and i love it a lot but temeru is such a child by hearth and mizuki is the lovable big sister and karino is the uncle who is stressed and kataro is the best boy
I actually watched this anime on Netflix it's really good I wish to do a season 2 of it.
After watching this recap I almost cried when that girl with the abusive boyfriend left but then to learn that his mother was actually Dead really...😥😢 I don't think I'll get into this anime / manga because knowing that is just heartbreaking, kid your going to make an excellent dad someday. 😭👍

While in RL these poor kids in Japan don't get adopted and kids have starved to death from parents leaving and neighbours not even calling authorities for the crying kids. You also need your parents to be a ganantee so you may not be able to get a place to live if you are a ward of the state and a lot of abuse gets ignored as dicipline. Single parents also have a terrible time. No one should be having kids they do not want, out of obligation.
