- Had to get to the next big bad in the original trilogy right? Well, that right may belong to Roodaka. However, lets look back at our favorite King of the Visorak Horde: Sidorak! because, lets be honest, we all love that miserable lug. LOL. Enjoy!

I mean.... that *would* have ended the entire bionicle story right there, had the order not been interrupted.
It actually is a little crazy to think Sidorak of all people nearly ended everything with a simple order, how much power he held in that moment.
You know what's crazy? I read somewhere that Keetongu crushed Sidorak so badly, that he couldn't even be revived on the Red Star. That's insane.
Sidorak’s head was damaged too badly, if there is no conscious, an entity cannot be revived on the red star.
@@quoverlord9398 you know Sidorak wasn't the only person that couldn't be revived on the Red Star, The Dark Hunters Krekka and Nikidihi were absorbed by Makutaa and due to them dying that way they couldn't be revived on the Red Star.

@@cathleenmoyle1476 basically his mind was physically destroyed by the impact, for example Likhan had his body intact after he died, which meant he could be revived.
Sidorak was only attempting to appeal to Roodaka because he was hoping to gain power on Xia, where Roodaka was from, Sidorak is extremely powerful, but he overlooks many things. Sidorak is powerful and very smart, but in the words of Greg Farshety, he refuses to believe there are those smarter than him, this is why he refused to believe Keetongu even existed, and thus Roodaka could easily take advantage of this. This is why those in the brotherhood thought him foolish
Man, I loved Sidorak's toy, was the best looking one of the three titans imo, and I loved his depiction in the comics, where it seemed he was actually someone who befitted his station as king of the horde.
Then this movie comes out and they turned my boy into an ineffective simp who can barely fight. They did him so dirty.
I feel somewhat sorry for Sidorak, I mean he only wanted a stable empire, with a queen by his side.
Now he’s only got the ground, and the various chunks of him scattered across the Coliseum.
Like towards the (or more, his) end, his call for help was so feeble I couldn’t help feeling a little bad
U gotta admit, Makuta Teridax probably sent Sidorak to Metru-Nui because he knew that this weakling was gonna die one way or another.
I really like Sidoraks Bull motive and Roodakas Snake motive. Very fitting to their little quirks like snorting steam out of his nose or Roodakas rattling.
Can we all just appreciate the sound of his Herding blade? It’s so awesome

I remember the book describing as a feared hunter. This movie when I saw it subverted my expectations in the worst possible way.
At least he didn’t say *“MUUUUUMMYYYYYYY!!!”*

I love how pathetic this guy is in the movie. When he’s shown trying to be a competent leader/antagonist, Roodaka and Vakama just show him up. it’s hilarious.
Sidorak may not be everyone's favourite Character but he is my Favourite Titan Figure from 2005

10:39 I just love the way he says it. It is simultaneously interrogative, but at the same time so compassionate.
I absolutely hated this scene. In the books he is a lot more intimidating and actually a capable adversary who actually hunted along side the horde.
At least that's what I recall.

Am I the only one who REALLY wants to see his home island of Stelt in a story with him? His species, Krekka's and even Gladiator come from that island. It gets more vocal as the story went on, but we never really got a good look at the place.

Sidorak's race I just nickname as "nobles" since they ruled the island and often had higher positions of Steltian society, Krekka's I call "bruisers" they acted as workers and guards in the society.

Not really. Fills a similar role in the story though.

These movie were MY Barbie movies.

They were both called to Metru Nui by Makuta Teridax, but Sidorak was unaware of Roodaka’s special assignment by Makuta himself.
Sidorak seemed to be unaware that his master was imprisoned, that his viceroy was working behind his back to free Makuta and his inattention gave her time to scheme and plot.
I just realized Sidorak is Bionicle Zapp Brannigan.

whatever Roodaka's reasons for killin Sidorak, either wanting to lead the Visorak horde alone & not share it with anybody or because Teridax credited him instead of Roodaka for the Toa Hagah's mutation, she was an idiot for not knowing she got herself to stelt in the first place. And PS, recquiring Vakama as a pawn is more like a girl tryin to get her hands on a guy, if u seen Disney films like The Little Mermaid with Ariel & Eric, GROSS!

If I recall correctly she wanted to lead them and also gain Makuta's favor. It's been a while but the books tell it all.
I don’t mind him, he’s one of the most disliked characters from what I hear for his foolishness.
I like Sidorak even if he was killed by Keetongu, but his voice design and stuff, for Keetongu, It seems to me that he has the same abilities as Makuta, but in a good way.

Super Cool In all fairness, every shot he fired was a near miss, there were a couple of times where, had Keetongu not jumped out of the way, Sidorak would’ve actually got him.
He's better in the books. Alot better.

Man, did they hype this guy up when they teased the sets early in 2005. Then this movie came out, and they turned him into an incompetent mama's boy.

The Vakama betrayal plot was so dumb.
Especially in the books. The Toa Hordika had a whole, successful adventure, ridding the Visorak of their most deadly specimen. All six of them should have felt bolstered and more confident. At least in the movie Vakama's fall comes directly after his failure, not after a daring success.
In the film yes, in the books it take sometime (moths even) before he actually gives into the animalistic drive with. All the toa battle with this side of themselves after transforming but it hits Vakama the worst due to his previous doubts after becoming a Toa and his team's anger towards his failure for getting them caught by the hordes.

Sidorak did absolutely nothing wrong and simply made a mistake moving into the coliseum
Sidorak is too much pompous to be just crushed by Keetongu. Instead the Rahi should have captured him to teach a lesson of humility by cleaning up the whole ruined city with a toothbrush with no Visorak to do the job for him.
What happens to remains in the bionicle universe? Like where is Sidorak’s body now?

@@quoverlord9398 yeah it’s kind of disturbing if you think about it. imagine if it was just a normal matoran and his friend just wondering around the coliseum. just minding their own business and enjoying life when one of them see a pile of rubble. they then dig it up only to discover the crushed remains of sidoraks head and not to far from it is the rest of his body covered in rubble completely crushed to oblivion. I don’t know about you but I’d say that it would probably give me a real fright if I found something like that if I existed in the bionicle universe. it’s just one of the most morbid and disturbing things to think about after watching this scene for me at least. just imagine what those final moments of life must of been like for him. not only did he get betrayed by the only person he had feelings for but also knowing that everything he’s done everything he’s built is about all come crashing down on him literally. Just one of the most messed up things about this entire scene in my opinion. not mention also he must of felt some of it when keetongu smashed him to dust. just food for thought you know. I love how bionicle likes to make you think about things like what it’s implying. I love how dark some of those implications are. it just goes to show these writers knew what they were doing. they really crafted a big universe with a balance between good and evil and one between light and dark. bionicle will always hold a special place and my heart and I’m sure it will for many of you too.
His corpse was taken back to the Makuta Brotherhood for..Experimentation of a new host.
