I am a hardcore Christian and I listen to Aiden without any regret whatsoever. Wil is a good guy + he writes great catchy songs. He is by no means writing satanic music or anything bad. He is just pointing out flaws in the church, which do exist (I am not blind). It is up to us real Christians to show everyone who God really is and God is GOOD.
Through all this supposed "hysteria" being caused by the music video, I'm actually kind of glad. Aiden's finally getting notariety for their work, in kind of a humorous way. I'm a Christian, but I'm not self righteous. The music Aiden makes is an art, not a depiction of church burning. They didn't show those depictions for "demonic reasons," they did it for a purpose. That aggression is what makes Aiden such an amazing band.
I really wish the people that call themselves "Christians" would stop with the hate language, it's what separates us from people like this. We don't need to be surrounded by a world full of truth for truth to win. God's will WILL be done regardless. The darker it is the brighter it shines.
I'm a fan of William Control and i didn't knew about Aiden too much, but wow sounds really fucking good, and wow William, your voice change a lot in this videos

Job - Security Forces.. alright now to reply to this, this band isn't talking bad about jews in this.. just saying that their afterlife isn't the one they dreamed of while living here on earth.. They aren't forcing anything down nor shoving anything down.. I've listened to this band since Nightmare Anatomy..
I love the fact that opinions are raised in this whole album as well as the previous, without cares. It's great that one can come out and share what is thought, ignoring any kind of judgment in the matter. Because as individuals, everything is true and everything is false. We have the ability to think and feel and choose. I like this song. I like it a lot!

A lot of people don't like these guys anymore cuz they don't write music like the first two albums. Those were great but they grew into a real hardcore punk band and for my money, I've been to alot of shows and nobody brings it like AIDEN. As long as wil is on the Mike this band wil forever kick ass!

I came here after reading an article about an atheist-themed festival at Fort Bragg. I was upset to hear someone was planing on glorifying the burning of churches (I am not christian) but this song is not about hate it is about the hate hidden by the large organized religions and the damage they have caused to mankind. Glad I checked it out, good band, good message.
Look, I'm in the military, and they obviously have an anarchist meaning behind this song. I say to each his own. I don't like the idea of the band being in Arlington Cemetery, but that is that right to be there. If you don't want to hear what they have to say, then don't listen
And what you think atheist are anti-war? What a laugh. Most communist countries are militant atheists. Just look at the soviet union. They killed over 60 million. That's a higher body count than hitler. Don't assume atheists are immune to human nature. Did you ever stop to think that some people don't care that the band is atheist? I still have trouble with the opening lines of this song: "Love how they burn your synagogues/Love how they torch your holy books/Filling coffers with your grief/Filling coffins with your misery." Maybe that's meant to be about religions killing each other, but it still sounds to the casual listener like Aiden is rejoicing in these things. The footage of burning churches doesn't exactly dissuade from this opinion. Oh well. Peace!
I agree with Aiden's message within this song. Be yourself, question the dogmas and indoctrinations offered by various organized religions. I have no issues with religion or people that believe in them, it's religious dominionists/extremists that I have issues with. I know many wonderful Christian folks that are completely against fundamentalist ideals. I personally am an Agnostic Pantheist Pagan. I'm all for open-minded discussion. I just hate getting preached at. By anyone. Atheist or theist.
let me be honest. we are all wasting out time arguing on religion. i am a christian. i do believe christianity is not a religion but a relationship with God. But how about we live our lives to our beliefs and we will find out at the end who is right.

Yeah about 4 years ago my cousin introduced me to them and the first song I heard was "knife blood nightmare". But "The Last Sunrise" has to be my top still. :) but I still consider them dark punk instead of emo which is what most of the kids label them as, but there instrumental parts are definitely derived from alternative/punk/hardcore etc.
Actually. Saw Aiden live earlier this year, Will said Angel had to go cause his girlfriend has cancer and he had to be with her. I doubt it was cause of getting tired of it, Angel loved the band more than anyone.
I see the emphasis having slower tempo gives their songs, I think they should release an album of all of these songs plus newer versions of their older ones, fast-paced. It would be great.. lol

The videos of the churches burning and the pastor/preacher/religious guy being assaulted were all examples of inter-religious violence (Jews vs Muslims vs Christians). This video wasn't atheists vs Christians, it was more like saying religious people (and atheists) don't hate or victimize other religious people. But thank you for saying that.
I love Aiden and William Control, I have been following both of them since they started out, and they never disappoint. Wil's lyrics, wit, and boldness never stop amazing me. It's sad how other people don't get the messages that Wil transcribes into his lyrics.
ok man listened to the song and honestly I think you just want to argue there are plenty of sounds and riffs that are contorted to become original. Aiden has been around a long time and ive been listening to them since my mid teens. Ive met william francis and seen them in concert a handful of times, they can be original and they can be cliche but thats the beauty of them and the attitude of their music, much better than that the almost esque band ivoryline.
