There is two way circuit from oil pump in old rtr version. One is to filter and another one is the hole were bolt is plugged. If you open the bolt and connect to oil cooler inlet means the oil quantity and pressure will be less that reaches the filter and to overhead supply. So that you have to replace the oil pump which is used in rtr 200. The oil pump in rtr 200 pumps out 1.5 times more than old pump so you can get the pressure and quantity. Reply bro

Bro.... U connected oil cooler inlet and outlet pipe but I didn't understand how can oil pump push oil engine to radiator?? Cuz I Wana install in my bike...
Those are oil pump lines, in which before the inlet portion, there is an oil pump which helps to circulate the enigne oil inside the system, including oil cooler. For you kind information, the oil pump on apache can transmit 1L of engine oil per minute.

Bro can I do the same for Gixxer ? I only wanna know the inlet and outlet positions of oil cooler and will the oil be automatically circulated after installing this setup ?
after fixing oil cooler will we get any engine problem? and the tvs company is not providing oil cooler for rtr 180 then why they are given that input and output holes on engine.
I have Apache rtr 180, and the major problem which I usually face during the long rides is the heating issue of the engine. wen I saw ur post I was really glad to know that we too can put oil cooler as avenger/pulsar. So my first doubts are: 1. how to tap the oil from the engine's both the ends (upstream as well as downstream)? 2. does it require any oil pump to maintain the proper circulation of the fluid? 3. does the radiator consist of a fan? if yes then from where have you given the connection? 4. do we need to put more engine oil in order to maintain the proper circulation? 5.how to prevent the oil leaks near the tapping areas? 6. which all radiators are suitable for Apache's engine? please answer my question so that it will be easy for me to install the same equipment in my Rtr. Thank you
Yes you are correct man. We can put oil cooler on RTR series. I will clear all of your doubts one be one as per you mentioned. 1. Apache's engine is the rebored version of Suzuki's fiero engine, since that is the reason that the first version of apache is 150 cc. In that fiero engine, we can find the provisions for oil inlet and outlet. So as per I said that apche's engine is the rebored version of fiero, we can also find the same provisions at apache's engine too. 2. In this video, you can notice that, i have mentioned about pumping the oil to the oil cooler assembly. That is, the gear pump is nearer to the inlet provision, which pumps the engine oil to the cylinder head. So therefore you does need to fix any external gear pump and do not worry about that. After fixing the oil cooler, the gear pump also pumps the engine oil to the oil cooler too and it works pretty much well. 3. Firstly it is not an radiator assembly, it is an oil cooler. Radiator differs from the oil cooler, that most of the radiators uses external medium (Eg: water, coolant oil etc) to cool down the engine. But here we are using an oil cooler to cool down the engine oil, that is maintaining the viscosity of the engine oil in an idle state. Only radiator assembly needs a fan, because the engines with radiator assembly does not have cooling fins at the engine's cylinder block to transmit the heat to the atmosphere during riding inside the traffic areas or when the bike is in idle portion for sometimes. So that is why they are using cooling fan to their radiator. I have seen that some peoples using CPU cooling fans on Pulsar 200 and avenger to absorb the heat. But they also mentioned that the fans are not much efficient since they are not designed for that. If you wish to fix a fan, you need to use a better cooling fan other that CPU fans. My opinion is cooler itself is enough for apache. 4. Yes you need add 200 ml of extra engine oil during every oil change. 5. Yes, the same problem also faced on my friend's bike. Just take it to the TVS service centre and report the problem to them. They will take care about that problem. They will apply some liquid sealant on the leaking areas. 6. P220 and avengers oil cooler also fit for apache. But we cannot get them easily. I will prefer apache's 200 oil cooler. Since it is designed for apache. I am very happy to help you man. Go on. It will works well after installing. Now I am facing a huge change on my bike, which feels pretty much well on long rides. Ride safe. God bless. Have a good day.
+Nantha Kishore gixxer is 150cc engine which does not need an oil cooler. If you want to reduce the engine heat, just use the recommended engine oil grade and some best brand oils like motul, shell etc
Okay bro, Gixxer SF is 155cc and heat is higher whenever I used to travel around 80-100 for half an hour in highway., So I need to stop bike for 10-15 mins or I need to go by 50-60 to avoid those circumstances I wanted to have it for both long life and for smooth engine, Is any possibility is there to install oil cooler in Suzuki Gixxer SF please confirm me Bro....!!!!!
Already Using motul oil only bro, Please confirm me is their any possibility of installing oil cooler as you done for your Apache?, By not disturbing engine.
Nantha Kishore nothing is impossible bro. In apache there are already we have provisions for the oil cooler. But gixxer does not have those. Since it need some precise work, good engineer to do that so. But make sure you check that the heating is may be due to other reasons such and carbonated spark plugs, lean air fuel mixture, dirty air filter. Some peoples tuning the carburetor to extract the maximum mileage, which leads to increase in the engine heat. Finally, you need to accept that, it is air cooled engine. So make sure check this heating issue is common with other gixxers too.
AA. Vignesh vicky thanks bro, Very informative, Will check with other Gixxer users if I am the one who face this issue in the sense I'll check with spark plug, air filter and carborator adjustment if it's common among Gixxer SF I will reach to custom bikers.
ya if u had a camera stand it wud ve been better anyhow its a brilliant thinking to install oil cooler on a apache 180 cc...thumbs up..!!good thinking vignesh..!!

Any plans on making your bike from 180 to 200 cc rtr using its parts. I am really looking forward to do it. But I am confused a bit that what parts I am going to need it for. The parts I considered are rtr 200's carburetor ,cylinder head assembly which includes the valves and camshaft. I am confused with the cylinder do i need to replace it too? The other mod I am considering is if just install a high lift cam camshaft from a bigger cc bike and a bigger carburetor borrowed from rtr 200 which will cost a lot less because rtr 200's cylinder head assembly cost is around 5600,2500 for the carburetor and if changed the cylinder and piston kit Rs 3500, then the total cost will rise above Rs 10,000. But I don't know that from which bike I should borrow a bigger camshaft that will fit in my 180. I asked you this after watching your video, I thought may be you have some information regarding these mods. Please share your ideas :) thank you.
First of all i need to thank you, since you have asked me a lot of questions. I will answer them one by one. I do not have any plan in converting my 180 to 200, since i am not earning now, I am still studying. If you are planning to convert it, only apache 200 parts will match perfectly, because both are from the same motherhood named TVS. When if you are in action, then you need to change the complete cylinder head barrel assembly including piston, connecting rod, carburetor, valves and camshaft, etc And the main thing is that, you are in the planning of using high lift cam. We need to discuss about it a lot. my question is, is there any high lift cam for RTR series? or is there any after market high lift camshaft which suits for RTR? and you cannot use any other bikes camshaft, because each and every bikes camshaft differ from its size, dimensions and geometry. So I think other bikes camshaft would not fit for RTR series. Finally I am not a pro mechanic. Is there any wrong with words, please correct me and a huge apologizes for that. Before doing this please consider a good mechanic. Thanks a lot. Have a good day. Stay safe, Ride safe.
There is no provisions for inlet and outlet for the oil cooler on fz engine . . . You need to drill the engine block and find a way to fix this . . . It is kind of a messy thing leads to damage the engine block bro . . . It may end up in failure . . .so it is safer to stick with the air cooler only . . . .
The bike always heats up since it is an air cooled engine. But after installing the oil cooler the heat dissipation was much faster than usual, also the life span of oil is also expanded.
AA. Vignesh vicky thank you bro, I hope it will be very efficient. I recently rebored the cylinder head and got it assembled, it is getting heated up quickly, is it because the new piston and rebored cylinder is getting mated and set(don't know if I'm using the right term) and will become normal after oil and filter change after 500km . thanks in advance bro
AA. Vignesh vicky also bro, tvs company and local mechanic refused to repair the bike and asked me to sell it off as scrap, I am very much attached to this bike as it's my first bike after graduation , so I disassembled the cylinder head , got it rebored and installed new piston, please advice me if I have to take any preliminary checking steps if I have to take before using for regular trips apart from , engine oil , oil filter, air filter, clutch plates, as I have checked them and replaced. Its running fine except for chain bracket which is yet to be replaced.
Vivek V as you said you have rebored make sure that the reboring work has been done in correct manner . . . Then the next thing is that check the spark plug for any carbon deposits . . . If there are more carbon deposits after few kms of drive, you need to clean the injector. . . . This is the place where local mechanics hate to do. . . . They do not know how to clean the throttle body and injector. . . . But it was quite simple then cleaning the carburetor. . . . Things you need to do now . . . 1. Take you bike to good young knowledgeable mechanic or SVC. 2. Do a complete check of your bike. 3. Repair and replace the parts if necessary. Have a good ride bro.
AA. Vignesh vicky thanks a million for you advice , it is very helpful , spark plug is new, and the injector is spraying fine from all four nozzle holes, the only part I am stuck is where can we do proper ecu remapping and co tuning , as tvs service centre people never want to take in apache fi 2009 models for service. I feel a little lag in pick up, don't know if I have to change the clutch plate / ecu remapping /or this(pickup lag) is the main reason behind this models failure.
PUSHPENDER BHARDWAJ bro it is available at the TVS service center. You can buy it there . . . If it is not available then try pulsar 220 or avenger oil cooler
PUSHPENDER BHARDWAJ yes you can also use that to . . . But make sure that, it have to withstand both temperature and pressure of engine oil . . . Braided hoses are well fabricated and they can withstand upto 400psi . . . I am not sure about the front brake line pipe thermal property . . . So please do a proper inspection of the disc brake pipes . . .
Syed Shabeer soon gonna make video on hazard lights. But not in the idea of making bar end lights, since it will easily got damaged and does not protect the handlebars.
Vinay H M vibrations cannot be reduce completely on apache . . . you can add some rubber washers in between the engine bolts to reduce the vibration . . .
leela sai Satish I am from madurai in tamilnadu bro . . .So i do not know about the shops at Hyderabad. . . .sorry for that . . . you just show this video to any mechanic and ask them to follow these procedure . . . and the parts are already mentioned in description . . .go on good luck ride safe
The whole oil cooler assembly is around 2500 RS bro. It is the stock oil cooler of apache RTR 200. You can also use the Pulsar 220 or avenger oil cooler. It will be only available at the dealership spare parts center bro.
is there any person who is facing heating issue in apache then change your engine oil first and sir @vicky vignesh is this cooler comes with apache 200?
Nithin Bani i have mentioned it in the description bro . .. please have a look at that . . .it will help you to know why it is needed for apache rtr series . . .if you find this video helpful do a thumbs up . . . .thanks. . . . .have a safe ride
Hi, I congratulate you on the video. I have some questions. Is it necessary to pour the 1.2 liters of oil? And what happens if I only make 1litro of oil. How long does it take to run the oil through the radiator and engine? And in the engine what would be the output of the oil and the entrance of the oil? Thank you
Thanks mate. The extra 200 ml goes into the oil cooler. If it reduces it will leads to improper lubrication to the piston and other moving parts. If you make only 1 liter, then 200 ml will goes into the oil cooler, and other moving parts will be lubricated less. Watch the video completely, in the video I have mentioned the inlet and outlet provisions for the oil cooler. Thanks. Ride safe.

And the main thing is that, you are in the planning of using high lift cam.

Bro honda hornet cbs 160 mai laga sakte hai kya?
english bro
vicky vignesh can u plz tell
Me this oil cooler can i install by honda hornet?
Hey bro, l plan to fix it on my Fazer. Is this kit suit for this??
There is no provisions for inlet and outlet for the oil cooler on fz engine . . .
You need to drill the engine block and find a way to fix this . . .
It is kind of a messy thing leads to damage the engine block bro . . .
It may end up in failure . . .so it is safer to stick with the air cooler only . . . .
Is this was available for hero xtreme sports... Is this was suitable for hero xtreme sports...
No bro. I do not think that it is possible on Xtreme. You need to do drilling works to fix the oil cooler on HERO Xtreme which is a unwanted thing
Ok buddy...

Even TVS fiero has the inlet and outlet system
Very good work sir ..did adding oil cooler help in reducing vibration.
+Mubashir Duduke yes of course.
Also use proper graded oil.
Always use motul or shell.
Grade is very important bro.
The recommended grade is 10w40.
vicky vignesh thank you sir
Whats the price of oil cooler???
Bro it is possible to fix hornet 160 ??
How much did the bike used to heat earlier..
The bike always heats up since it is an air cooled engine.
But after installing the oil cooler the heat dissipation was much faster than usual, also the life span of oil is also expanded.

Is there any aftermarket fuel injection kit available for apache series
Soon gonna do the same thing with apache 200cc fuel injection kit bro.
Please give me idea for apache rtr 160 fi 2009 model for oil cooler installation. Thank you in advance.
Vivek V nothing just follow the same setup and steps as i mentioned in this video
Hay bro i plan to fix my honda hornet ? It is possible?
Not necessary bro.
vingnesh bhai can we use pulsar s oil cooler in apache 160
Prajwal Bhoayr yes man . . .you can also use avenger's oil cooler too . . .
Sir kindly give me a link to buy the radiator which you are using
PUSHPENDER BHARDWAJ bro it is available at the TVS service center. You can buy it there . . .
If it is not available then try pulsar 220 or avenger oil cooler
vicky vignesh brother one more query what is the specification of the pipe which you used
PUSHPENDER BHARDWAJ 8 mm braided hose pipe . . .
It is used as fuel and hydraulic pipes on heavy vehicles and earth movers . . .
Brother on more query... Kindly check out the front disk oil pipe.... Can we use that pipe instead of hose pipe..... N if we can not then why
PUSHPENDER BHARDWAJ yes you can also use that to . . .
But make sure that, it have to withstand both temperature and pressure of engine oil . . .
Braided hoses are well fabricated and they can withstand upto 400psi . . .
I am not sure about the front brake line pipe thermal property . . .
So please do a proper inspection of the disc brake pipes . . .
hey bro Syed here

Hello sir how can i install this kit in my karizma R plz tell me
Karizma R already have an oil cooler bro.
Oil cooler is in karizma zmr not in karizma R
I am sorry bro. I need to check it out for any provisions for oil cooler on karizma R. Let me give some time.
Thanks. Ride safe.
Give me link you buy
Bro humko plz batao kya kya exactly kharid na padega..?
sorry bro. English please.
sorry bro. English please.
is this really works?
yes working pretty well.
I mean that engine performance pe frk pda? Means smooth chlti ha bike?
@@RinkuChauhan-gf2es heat dissipation is much faster. So vibration due to heat is very well constrained.
@@Mechanicgrapher thank you sir.
I try bajaj pulsar and avenger but bajaj staff says it is not avaliable
Jitender Sony ask them to order it . . .
Since if any of the customer cannot find a spare for tvs automobiles, then the customer has the rights to order the respective part at the showroom, and the showroom guys must have to avail the respective spare for you.
Tvs spares will be available on all the showrooms . . . Or if if you cannot get the one you can call the toll free number which provided only for asking the informations about spares . . .there you can know the informations like price, at which showroom nearby your residence that you can got the spares etc.,
