Another winning tutorial. I've been able to land this trick intermittently, but never really understood how it worked. Your slo-mo and showing where the whipped loop travels is what brought it all together. Literally first time I tried it after watching, nailed it 5 times in a row!
Thank you so much!!! I've been trying to figure this trick out for months. I watched your video twice through then drilled it for about 25 minutes. Landed the trick about 15 times out of 100 or so attempts. I'm literally blown away. Stellar breakdown of this one
Grateful for the slo-mo.You really can see how the loop wraps behind the string. You make it look simple. I'm coming off that 'Whip-eze' and need to add to my repertoire. Good stuff....oh and liked your Sam Hicks talk as well. You really are making it happen like you said. Kudos my yoyo buddy.
TokYo-Yo I'm still practicing brent stole as well, but not as smooth. Haha. I can see you are improving quite fast T, maybe next time you can consider some revisiting several yoyos?
Great tutorial. I find that my actual triangles are small like yours when I do this trick. What do the pros do differently that results in a bigger triangle? They always make it look larger than life haha
+Daniel Karpathios I know right? I’m still trying to figure it out. I think maybe they keep their hands closer together so more string gets whipped around?
TokYo-Yo I’ve tried that one out and some other tweaks but alas, no dice.... I’ll keep trying things out. As always with this, you can be completely incompetent at a trick for months and then one day you just feel “the sub text” of it and find that one little motion or movement no other video gives you and BAM! You should do a tutorial on some of the binds you use too!
+Jake 3123 Don’t Know why, I find this one easier to hit, maybe because it feels more automatic to me? Like I literally got up this morning and threw a BS first try no prob. Weird

Excellent tutorial! Really clear and straightforward. I finally landed this trick. Thanks!
+Nathan Ponce hooray! I’m so happy to hear it!
This is by far the clearest tutorial, but I'm still trying to figure this out. Thanks for the help!
+Rachel Wong any part I can help with?

+TheRealViscera hey thanks man, and I love what you’ve got going on too.
TokYo-Yo Thxx. Catch you in the next one!
Such a satisfying trick
Nice job T
+T. Wells thanks bro

This is really hard trick. I still dont know how 2 do this. Btw ty for tutorial.
+Iqbal Ramadhan hopefully this will help?
Really nice and smooth brent stole, T. 👍
+Jeremy Ookuro haha thanks I’ve been practicing

+Jeremy Ookuro I was thinking the same thing!
+Jeremy Ookuro any yoyos you think I should revisit?
TokYo-Yo that's a hard one. You have lots of yoyos. The first that popped is magic yoyo purple line.
Thanks man for this tutorial👍
+Andres Neira hope it helps!

+Daniel Karpathios I did!
TokYo-Yo oh crap. I’ll check it out. Only joined your channel today. My bad haha
+Daniel Karpathios no worries! I feel it’s one of my funner tutorials. Hope you enjoy it!
Will you do a review of the MKT?
+Eli Cooper sadly, I don’t have one!
upload it in 60fps pls
I don’t have a 60fps version. Sorry! My head camera isn’t that good
Aye wassup T. Can you do a tutorial on Ninja Vanish?
AAAHHHH ITS JUST LIKE TRYING TO LEARN THE HIDEMASA HOOK MY SLACK ISNT GOING THE RIGHT WAY.
+『Spyder』 ?!? Which way is it going?!? 😜
TokYo-Yo its not looping around the right way so it doesn't form a triangle. I'm pushing my throw hand forward too so idk.
TokYo-Yo pretty much I can't catch the yoyo in the slack. It's gone too fast.
+『Spyder』 maybe there’s a twist in the string? Is your tension neutral
I can hit the hidemasa hook just about every time but this trick I hit 75% of the time
+Jake 3123 Don’t Know why, I find this one easier to hit, maybe because it feels more automatic to me? Like I literally got up this morning and threw a BS first try no prob. Weird
I always land on a trapeze
Make sure you grab the string and hook your finger around on the NTH
Me too
