Why the heck have I not heard your name before today Aric??? You should be recognized as one of the great drummers alive. Your solo from 2012 was amazing dude, how you pulled that off with that many intricacies was incredible.
These drum parts are absolutely next-level and completely in a league of their own. Congrats on pushing the boundaries for what's capable on a drum kit and other percussive surfaces!
Holy freaking smokes. This might be some of the most awe inspiring drumming I have seen in years. And the written commentary along with this was incredible. I would watch a whole video 8 minute video for each song with your process and thoughts for the parts you came up with, what you're intimidated to play live, etc. Please do this.
This is so fucking cool. I love the notes about recording and writing, that is something you miss in most music these days with it mostly being digital. I adore hearing about the actual process of writing this music.
Very nice job Aric! I find you the most patterns searcher in drumming which to me this is THE PERSONALITY! They way you express yourself on drumms is literally unique. Love you! 👊🤗
Absolutely magnificent offerings my brother! Brilliant work by all of you. But omg your percussion is straight 🔥. You remain an inspiration to me. Thank you for everything you do.
Having listened to you guys for almost five years now - and having watched Nick wrote most of this on Twitch - I can relate so hard to you guys cutting a riff so it gets its own song on the next album. That's a cool little bit of info. Amazing work on all of it, Aric. Truly played your heart out. It's more refined and the energy is more honed which makes each part that much more intense. It is a pleasure to have this next piece in a music collection. Looking forward to the next one already. 🤘
The formula of this album is so unique, dense and rich I just can't get enough of it and looking at it is so amazing, I don't even know how you can keep track of it all... can't wait to see you at #GMM24 in Belgium!!!
So dope! Thanks for sharing this. This album and seeing you guys at Kill Iconic have been a massive inspiration for new music I’m working on. So thank you!
This was awesome to watch and see insight into the tracks. Love in a Liminal Space is my fave by far, the vibe is killer. It looks like you're using a Dyna Sync left pedal and Iron Cobra right? I saw it on the 8 Gates video too.
I need drum playthrough of plague dancer, desire to feel nothing, rose wire glitching prisms and phoenix V invocation. I want to do a drum cover but I can’t understand some parts.
You don't need to hear from me, but your creative process is paying off in spades. There's no instrumental band that captures my attention as much as Night Verses.
Incredible. THANK YOU for this insight. Question: how perfectly do you have to set up your kit since you practice so much and "burn" it into muscle memory? You're so effortless and smooth moving around it, I wonder if it has to be positioned down to the millimeter?
Y'all never think of the ending of Rose Wire in 7 anymore, meanwhile it's the only thing I can think of listening to it. Perhaps it's the music major in me, whoops 😅
Aric is a drummer who is beyond amazing. i just wish he would be in better bands. none of his bands deserve him. a lot of wasted talent with these junky bands he’s in. he’s outplaying everyone he’s ever recorded with.
UGH I hear the raw sound and cry. You guys mutilated that snare sound. All the character and overtones are gone, it's just a toneless "SMACK" sound on the final mix. What a travesty to drum tones! ;_;
I’ve played the drums for 40 years and I’m lost. This is amazing.
I Stopped playing 23 years ago. Now I'm found. ;)
Been around a amazing pro drummer growing up, but nothing close to this.
one of the best albums and drummer of all times! this amazing!
Appreciate you sharing so much about the process this way. awesome. thank you
Speed, technique, creativity 😮😮😮
Another level 😭😭😭

best drummer on earth
These drum parts are absolutely next-level and completely in a league of their own. Congrats on pushing the boundaries for what's capable on a drum kit and other percussive surfaces!
Drumming in this day and time is insane, but to bring this level of creativity is where Aric stands alone. Love this dude.
Really awesome to see & hear this process, thanks for taking the time to document it so clearly!
The drumming on this album is insane once again aric always blows my mind
This is such a sick video. Thanks for pulling the curtain back!!

one of the reasons you're one of my favorite drummers is how musical you play them.
One of a kind!!
This is so fucking cool. I love the notes about recording and writing, that is something you miss in most music these days with it mostly being digital. I adore hearing about the actual process of writing this music.
Absolutely loved learning more about the thinking behind these tracks. Thank you for sharing and the incredible creativity you bring to drumming!
And now my day just became better...
Amazing!
Thank you for sharing.
Very nice job Aric! I find you the most patterns searcher in drumming which to me this is THE PERSONALITY! They way you express yourself on drumms is literally unique. Love you! 👊🤗
Tightly crafted piece of art!
Super interesting insights to this fire album, thank you Aric!
You're a genious, man! Thanks for all the great work of art you and the guys have been invested on, it's a pleasure to the eyes and ears!
This reminds me of Dimebag and Vince, except 30 years later.
Stellar job, boys !

Take my money! Night Verses 4 ever!
This is so good. I never noticed how fun the drum part in Glitching Prisms is
Tasty stuff man!

Eres uno de los mejores baterista del mundo. Es genial lo que haces en los tambores 🤟🥁🥇❤️
What a cool video. Love seeing some of the thought process Aric, and the album turned out *chefs kiss*, I just ordered the vinyl a few days ago
Always inspiring dude. Thank you 🤘🏼
This band is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!
So dope! Thanks for sharing this. This album and seeing you guys at Kill Iconic have been a massive inspiration for new music I’m working on. So thank you!
no comment...f... brutal
Very inspiring bro. Love this. Thanks for sharing
Ty for Sharing this. Awesome skills.
I’m not a musician so I don’t speak the language, but watching this is so fascinating to me. Wow 🤩
Desire to feel Nothing IS CRAZYYY
🔥
I love the use of empty space on Rose Wire and relatively little detail, I only realized how different it is, hearing the isolated track
your performance and skill is unreal. Amazing stuff
I would love to see more isolated drum tracks.
Gerçek olamayacak kadar iyi, björk crystalline cover'ıyla keşfettim kanalı; bu da zirvesi
On another level that's for sure.. major props dude.
pretty dynamics genuine beats dude! you are a beast...!!!
Mint 👍
This video is amazing and useful. Thank you!
That was insanely good! Thanks for sharing ❤
i need phoenix v full version
Thank you for your music !🔥🔥🔥
I want to be this good!
Energía envidiable.

More! I want mooooorrre!
Amazing!🔥💎
mega bro
I really hope you can create something more with Brandon, that track is amazing
Hi Aric, can we get a drum cover/tracking of Glitching Prisms please?
Улёт ваще🔥💪🤟
They killed your snare sound in the final mix, your raw snare sounds so much better
I need drum playthrough of plague dancer, desire to feel nothing, rose wire glitching prisms and phoenix V invocation. I want to do a drum cover but I can’t understand some parts.

Is there any way to get isolated drum tracks?? That'd be awesome!
RoseWire has sucha cool grove i wish drums were more pronauced in the mix
thats a spicy meatball
Incredible. THANK YOU for this insight. Question: how perfectly do you have to set up your kit since you practice so much and "burn" it into muscle memory? You're so effortless and smooth moving around it, I wonder if it has to be positioned down to the millimeter?
Where's the Altimeter drum solo? Please post it again
Who Engineered the Drums, and or Album, and who Mixed the Record?
This is what happens when the music has completely taken hold and you just play and play and play and it just gets better.
Y'all never think of the ending of Rose Wire in 7 anymore, meanwhile it's the only thing I can think of listening to it. Perhaps it's the music major in me, whoops 😅
persevere🫡

*all kinds of profanity*
You didnt mention slow dose. guessing it's your least favourite song on the album 😅
I love that song. We just didn't get footage of the drum parts for that or "Aska." No song would make the album if we didn't all love it.
I know slow doses is the most easiest song you wrote on drums but I wanted to know of the fun facts lol
UGH I hear the raw sound and cry. You guys mutilated that snare sound. All the character and overtones are gone, it's just a toneless "SMACK" sound on the final mix. What a travesty to drum tones! ;_;
Dude. This is mixed very well.. 😂
I also think it is a bit overcompressed but not THAT bad.
And besides that: fucking awesome drumming and music in general
Lol. The snare sounds the same.
Really dude lmao
holy shit dude, you need to calm down...
insanity
