@tiboy6969 Thank you very much! I notice the errors when he sings such as the fact that he needs better air support and that he has put way too much stress on his throat ever since he started (HUGE no-no for singers!). I also notice he tries to go over his voice range. I can't give any tips on the screaming though 'cause I'm a classically-trained singer, so I wouldn't know. He has to be extra careful, because he's nearing his 40's, which is his vocal peak!
really?here was infected?damn man...i care about kyo so much...and even if his voice was infected here, like u sad...it's still sounds awsome o.o...amazing...dir en grey is amazing!
@tiboy6969 I know that he's shy, reserved, doesn't trust people easily and he doesn't care if he's out of tune or whatever, but a teacher's not only there to make you sound pretty- he/she's there to teach how not to ruin your voice! He needs a teacher ASAP! He will feel SO much better when he sings, and he will notice he will sound better, hit his high notes more comfortably, etc. I hope he gets one soon. Also, do you know if he vocalises before shows/sessions? That would explain a lot.
@tiboy6969 Where'd you get that from? I doubt he has anything going on here, because if his voice was infected by throat cancer it would have been pretty noticeable. His voice here sounds rich, dark and healthy. His high notes sound a bit metallic, but his high notes have always sounded like that (it's probably due that it's beyond his comfort zone and he hasn't received proper training). If his voice were infected it would sound metallic and raspy throughout.
@tiboy6969 On can still deliver a lot of emotion and still have a proper technique, it's not like vocal lessons suck out all of your feelings and make you a zombie, lol. But yeah, I'm not saying that he has to be a perfect opera singer. I'm saying that there is a proper technique for metal singing, so you can still sound brutal and emotional with less damage.
Love kyos dancing..=)

The performance for this song is amazing in The Code of Vulgar [ism] - TOUR 04.

@tiboy6969 You sure? Don't scare me? I've never heard about such a thing before.

that guitar solo was so cringeworthy.
