The image of Virgen de los Remedios (Virgin of All Remedies) & Sto. Cristo del Perdon (Holy Christ of Forgiveness) have this continuous journey around the Province of Pampanga for the propagation of the Catholic faith in the Divine Mother and the Eternal mercy of God. People pray, sing and dance to the native tunes of glorification almost non-stop. This tradition goes back to the days when there was the atmosphere of fear caused by the war and post-war disruption of peace in the Philippines but more so in Pampanga due to the presence of rebels against the perceived forms of injustice where the marginalized members of the society suffer the most. The music is what they call "Basultu", an hi-breed of Spanish and native Kapampangan music.
