The T-28 is one of my fav birds and I have all sorts of models and from HH to FMS and they all flight great. Thanks for the wonderful flight and keep them coming bud👍👍👍👍👍
Nice maiden no issues, I hope mine goes as well, I have just finished rebuilding a beat up Durafly T28 Trojan 1100 that I bought from a guy that crashed it and it's not been flown for years so he sold it to me cheap, waiting for better UK weather to maiden it.
I just bought one of these in the red and white scheme for $300, and while I don't yet have the correct battery for it, I'm excited to see how well it performs! (After I get more practice flying my Turbo Timber of course.) My only complaint with it currently is the fact that it uses foam hinges, and right out of the box the rudder hinge had split halfway up from the bottom. A V5 with proper plastic couplings or carbon fiber flex strips molded in the foam would be a superb upgrade for durability. I've heard some people lose their V1s and V2s to failed foam hinges while in the air, so I'll just be sure to keep an eye on those and be careful with it.
Yep. Buy a roll of hinge tape to take with you flying and pick up soma couple different size hinges. My favorite models end up wearing out control surfaces hinging. No big!
