Evan, this is by far the best video you have provided for us. I’ve been having trouble with assessment NREMT questions and which term falls into which section of the assessment and this is just a grand slam on what I need to know 💯 This absolutely ties up loose ends and technical to the bone. Thank you so much for all that you do for us Evan. I can’t wait to finally kill the NREMT 🤙🏾

I skipped this part in my online emt and just had skills days. I had 2 days (medical and skills days) to learn patient assessment before my nremt testing day. I BARELY passed. This is obviously so important so don't put it off!!!!

Judging by the tile screen, your patient doesn't need an assessment, he looks to be dead.

Can you please do a video on SLUDGEM/DUMBELLS?
EMT student, I just ran a call on a guy who took in a bunch of chemicals. Things happened so fast I wish I understood more! Can you do a video on it? I appreciate you man, I purchased your program! And take my NREMT in about a month! Trying to know it all “COLD” 💪

My emt course was quick and touched on all of these. I passed and got my emt using some of your videos!
I got a job as an EMT and am now orienting with a company.
Any advice for great questions for the primary survey to knock big illnesses out of the park? Im being placed on a bls ambulance but we usually arrive well before the micu and have always transferred care thus far.
Also, do you have any advice on bedside reports/charge nurse reports i can give?

Omg my practical is tomorrow!! Just 11 hours from now 😅 this is my last minute cram sesh 😂 I’d like to see someone do a video framing the questions in a good way that we ask the test giver. Like “can I assume the airway is patent” or “what’s the MOI or NOI?” Or “I’m going to check radial pulses and skin color and condition” like how it’s verbalized during the test. That seems to be where a lot of confusion stems from in my class.

Depends on the school you attend. I used a community college in USA that was 4 months long. Due to Covid restrictions in 2021, my college met once a week for hands on labs and exams. My college also offers an accelerated summer course that's 2 months long. I don't recommend an accelerated course personally since there was a lot of material to cover in my 4 month course. Some organizations may offer hands on instruction at Fire Departments. You'll need to see which option is best for you. Good luck.

If they seem like they have a good sense of humor, then "...10 is how you would feel if your arm just fell off."
I did not create this: " SNNAC (Scene SU, NoI (or MoI), ALS?, C-spine) ...after you have you 'snnac', then you have your glucose (glucose = GLC: General impression, LoC, Chief complaint). (source : Jessica Coelho's YT channel)
    So it's "SNNAC...GLC...ABC...GO"
Now I need your help....we need a good way to memorize pulse & BP ranges per age group.

Make sure you have ALS in route for basically everything in your test, PMS before and after splinting, and always treat shock management
