Yeah as a mid/jungle main i always buy wards but it seems that me and the support only is buying wards sometimes the supp dosen't even buy wards/sightstone. Well i play in EUNE and i hate that server the only reason still being there is i dont have RP and second all of my friends is there. I wish i hade enough rp to transfer them all sometime. ;D
Don't worry man, EUW is the same shit xD Yea, I mean.. You can only put 3 wards, 4 if you count a pink ward, as a support. It's impossible to cover the whole map alone. It's frustrating indeed!
just make a video about warding. So many people seem to forget that óne ward, just one, can give you baron, drag, 1 kill, an adc lategame walking alone, a 4v3 situation, even more kills, yóu not dying, buffs, killing junlger at their buffs and I can continue this list for ages! 75/100 gold for all that stuff I just called, please mercy, make a video with some good ward places, when to ward etc. It will help a lot I think

my "pro tip" for warding would be ... not every wards has to be inside a bush u know most of the bushes are against a wall which provides literally "less" vision less information about the spot it's better sometimes placing wards in middle of important roads like X shape around blue there are two. After crimson raptors(wraiths) just before going to river outside bush.. going down from there...it shows like 4 or 3 ways of traveling i have also seen the sneaky wards which are placed just in front of dragon or baron pit but not inside but outside directly facing enterance not seeing inside pit but seeing everything outside of it...

i think you should learn ryze, with 4 skillshots he is the one of the hardest champinos to master. i hope u can learn him well and climb the ladder unlike me cause i always have noob teams, i deserve challenjour because of my ap lee song supp mechonics, gg vortic senpai
While i do agree with all of this, the 4th one you said it is your fault when you lose. But if you go 17/1/5, While your AD jungle Soraka goes 0/17/1, I dont think it is your fault...I agree and disagree, I would say SOMETIMES it is your teams fault and not yours.

if you just hit level 30 on your first acount that means you are arround bronze 2-3 level i recommend either playing ranked teams or just playing normals until you get enough money to buy different rune sets and pages

To get out of elo hell, all you have to do is learn how to play Jana support, play Jana support. Get a Jinx, Kalista or Vayne adc. You basically auto-win every game if you're a good Jana. Since Jana has such good disengage you can stop the enemy from getting good trades. You can also win trades easily because your shield gives ad and your W is basically a built in exhaust. With the ADC I have picked it almost doesn't matter if they get kinda fed or really fed, because they all snowball so well. once they get one kill ahead it's easy to snowball after that. The only thing you have to watch out for is the Graves Leona.

i hate when peopple say there's no such thing as elo hell... yes, there is, you just haven't been in it to know what it is. my main account is silver v. my alt account is gold II. i've been playing on my main account forever, and can't carry out of silver. when i started using my alt account, i was easily able to reach gold. when you have such a short amount of games, you can easily carry up or down in the ladder. but when you have 1,000's of games, it's more difficult. that's what elo hell is. it's more difficult to carry yourself out if you've been in silver for a long time, but if it's a short time, you can easily carry yourself out if you're good enough (assuming you are good enough) explain that if elo hell doesn't exist. my alt account has 500~ games and is gold II. obviously i'm good enough to be gold. But on my main account? my teammates are just too fucking bad to carry out of silver. in gold, you have teammates who know wh at they're doing generally. in silver, you don't. if you're an ADC, you have to be lucky to get a good support, otherwise you're unlucky with a bad support and will most likely lose. that's what i get when I play adc main (on both my alt and main account) it's so much easier to carry a game in gold than it is in silver. way easier.
Well if what you say is correct there should be others 'who deserve better' who play at a gold level play. If you are an ADC, you can carry bot. Its not only the support. Give him tips. Remind him to ward. Tell him to zone, Etc. This doesn't only count for bot. You can help all lanes. If you are better then the rest. You will get out of silver. But you can't expect it to be in '5 games'. And if your argument is correct that you need to play more games to get higher. Might be true. But you still lose that ..% of your games. Even though you win more, you say.
... my alt account has 500~ games on it. my main account has 1000~ games on it. i can't carry myself out of silver. never could. been stuck in silver 5 and 4, and low elo ever since i started playing but on my alt account, in promotion matches, i was placed in silver I, and within a few games, got to gold, then i kept going up the ladder. slowly, but steadily going up the ladder. explain that. i know how to play in gold, i know how to carry out of gold. i've been to plat before, and got demoted back to gold. (one or two times, so i don't consider myself plat material, i'm only as good as gold)
Or if you listened to red's video, you'd realize you're in limbo lol. You got stuck in silver so you made a new account to see where'd you go. Turns out you got to gold, (oh ma gerd my true potential doesn't show on my main account) but the only reason you prob got there in the first place was because you tried really hard then which is good. However like red said when you try to go back and do it on your silver account it seems like it's too hard but maybe it's just because you assume you'll be pitted up against the same crappy players (and that may actually be caused by your ELO/ Ratio or w/e) so you play with a causal attitude and therefore you might repeat hidden mistakes that occur when you've been stuck in silver but have never managed to fix or even identify. Then again you can totally ignore this comment since its like a paragraph or just simply try try again

what you call elo hell is when you think you are better than the rest of your team, but not good enough to carry them to victory. If you can't carry your games and perform well in all of them, you are at the right spot, and there is nothing wrong with that

Glad you said number 4. There are way too many learning channels on TH-cam saying the same thing "ward, don't rage, bla bla bla" but some people don't win games because they're not good at the game. No matter how many times you tell them to not rage, they don't get better mechanically, they make the same mistakes. League is much more than a mental game, if you can't last hit properly, but you maintain your rage, you're still gonna lose.
@McL White Well, I am talking as someone, who mostly jungles here. As a jungler you often want to go, where you see your best chances. If you think a countergank might work AND you see the enemy before a gank and have time to react, you can countergank. But when you don`t see it and just wait in a bush, you loose cs. Because of the now higher spawntimes on wolfes and raptors this gets even worse. Also most junglers don`t realy camp. They go up and down the jungle and farm and when they see an oportunity, they gank. Because the cross mid while going up AND down, they gank it more often. Also the enemy needs to buy more wards and has easier gank paths(from enemy jungle in the back etc.), so chances are even higher of not being spottet. And last of all from the junglers point of view: Not everyone can countergank well. Some are just CS-cannons who can gank one target and hold it in place, letting it die. Others have more overall damage, which is by far better for counterganks. Also you need instant mobility for it and your laner needs to react fast, too. When you don`t trust him in helping you asap, thats a major negative. It sounds hard, but for a jungler often it is a better choise to let one lane die slowly and feed other lanes quickly. Depends on the matchups, but especially squishy junglers are often afraid to gank/countergank feeded enemys, afraid of being burstet. (Always these people you can`t answer through a button. : c He might never see this. ^_^" Topic was, why junglers often don`t countergank.)
I got a question for 1-trick-ponies. What if your main champion doesn't fit into the team? Will you gladly accept the loss? For example if your team only has 1 tank and your a zed main. Would you go Zed in mid still? Or would you take one for the team and go a tanky mid laner like Cho'gath or Urgot so your team can have 2 effective tanks?

9:26 made me lol :)the E bait XD I think the "learn from your mistakes" is really true. In my first account, I used to be in bronze 1 where I never admitted my mistakes and just kept blaming bad players and my 200 ping x-x. And then I decided to suck it up and start understanding my own mistakes and the enemy team's mistakes. I knew I had high ping so I chose champs that were less reliant on ping. And when the team did not ward, I just made sure I warded a lot whatever lane I was on. I am not in a rank high enough to be a master of all trades or a one trick pony x-x so I just tried to find 3-5 "one trick ponies" for every role so hence I play every role.. probably not equally ^^.. I still have a lot to learn with certain roles especially. I think whereever rank you are, it is important to constantly evaluate what you did wrong and what you did right. I'm in gold 2 now :).
Yeah, I have the exact problem too!, but I completely don't know how to build, see I just follow the format for most of my champions, and my mains are probably just the only ones that I actually know how to build, since i'm just so used to them, I know the awarnesses. But Goodjob!:)
what do you recommend for duo que, I noticed as duo seem to get more players that tend to feed or quit on my team, i know its better to just que up solo but even with losing i find duo to be more fun because i am climbing the ladder with a friend

I think you should have added in map awareness/predicting your enemies movements. One thing I have learned is that having map awareness can save your life. Even if there are no wards placed or only one ward. If i am pushing a lane I use my map to keep track of my enemy. If i realize I am pushed far, but I have vision on 3-4 of the enemy I can see if they are going to keep pushing our lanes or if they leave I can predict what they will potentially do by thinking what I would do in that situation. Think from their position. If you notice they continue to base to take down your turrets. You can assess how much trouble you are in or if it would be more profitable to keep pushing, then returning to base and defending. If they leave your vision on the map and you are trying to take their second top/bot turret you can reasonable predict that they are heading your way to kill you.
personally i like being nervous or anxious before a ranked game or any game for that matter. It puts me more on edge and definitely increases my reaction time. That's just for me but for some people it might actually make them worse off depending on if they really worry about letting their team down.
I am warding the jungle of my enemies. Pink Wards and Stealth Wards. And the Dragon of course, in the midgame im warding baron too always and the dragon again.
Regarding #2, I have a legitimate anxiety disorder therefore it cannot be helped at times, any suggestions? I don't really get anxious or nervous but specific things in the game itself can trigger somewhat of a panic state of mind.
This is so true, when i go into a game i say dont flame and gl hf etc. and i play games where i occasionally feed for example i went 0-6 blitz bc i was peeling for my carry, but noone flamed if anything everyone was rather encouraging and even after losing lane, we won the game. One match recently I had 2 trolls that took ghost cleanse and aimed to get to 50 deaths. Obviously we lost the game but next time if this happens should I just dodge queue?

I usually dont rage when im loosing a ranked match. Last season i was silver 3. Everytime i lose a ranked game i just take a break in like 10 minutes and then i have a refreshed my mind to play a new ranked game. I dont really think that i am bad right now as you are saying that some people think that they're bad, but after a game or just when i make a mistake i try to think what i could have done better at that point! ;3 But good video Redmercy! :D

At first it wasnt going too well :D ( 2wins 3 looses) But after i saw your video i ended up with 6 wins and 4 looses which was silver for me ^^ Love you and keep going
I agree with almost everything you said, except with the third one. The best approach is by far the few-tricks-pony approach. Dont tunnel vision yourself with only one champ, but dont try to learn too many either.
Personally i struggled to go from silver to gold.. Then lcs started in spring and pros came with AP Lulu idea for mid/top, so i tried it too since i like her a lot and started to take her in every single ranked, if she was taken/banned i would take kayle or similar mid.. Sometimes if i would not get mid/top/support i would go tank or safe adc and depend on the team. So when i started to play lulu i hit plat in less than one month.. And she got nerfed so i stayed there.. But the tip would be to choose one champ you really like and that is common pick even in pro league or something like that and then practice that champ hard and play at least 5 games a day if you can, you will improve very much and will win a ton of rankeds.. When i played lulu i won 23 games out of 27 games in 3 days. Have a great season :)
#5 WARDING! Yes in lower ranks that is one sad thing which is next to not known to be everybodys role, supports ward no one else is required that, ffs spend that extra 75/100/250 to get more vision for your team (which you often have after base visit 99% times). Good guide for ranking up, maybe will kick myself more of ranked games this season which is not likely going to happen as i suck haha
hey bro , can I ask you about ranking system this s5 .. My friend told me that the ranking system in s5 is also based on your normal game wins ... I saw a picture in fb,he says that he lost 7 games and win 3 games only but when i search for his acc. it shows 4wins (no lp) but the most confusing part is that he was placed in platinum 5 .. i looked at his normal game wins with a 1.5k wins .. that makes me think that the ranking system this season is also based on your normal game wins ... (im from ph-server (garena)
What I do is choose the best 2 champions plus 1 backup that I am best with in each role and write them down. It keeps me focused in champ select and keeps me from falling into the trap of trying to pick the best champion (counter/popular) vs a champion I'm best with.

Well it has been alot better with this video at 2:48 when you told about Anxiety and being scared to lose really got me really far. Finally i realised that my proplem werent me playing bad but it was inside me i lose games because i get scared of losing but when i started a ranked game i first turned on the fan and drank some water from the fridge and my stress were weakend. Number 2 i find is a bit of a balance. You need to be nervous enough to think about what you are doing but decisive enough to make a choice quickly. Too nervous and you take to long, too decisive and make more mistakes. It took leage for me to learn that and afterwards my other games improved
Personally the advice about anxiety doesn't benefit me much because my personality makes my play style verry aggressive. Therefore my first game i usually win because i play safe and "overestimate" their power, but after a couple of games i get cocky and just fail. However i loved the advice, keep up the good work!
For the 3rd advice I'm not sure which one I am. I have differents mains in each lane. I like to go assassin champs such as talon but love to zed. My top lane I got lots of champs I can use that I have to make a list of them. So can u help me out red and see eat type I am.
Im diamond4, and the thing about people getting nervous is thinking too much on their ranks. People i know usually lolnexus to see what rank their opponent is and gets nervous if they're higher elo. PRO TIP: dont be discouraged to use the website but i think it harms you more than benefits. It puts you on pressure and you should just focus on he current game and punish on their mistakes. And yea its better to main some roles but dont be mad and toxic playing support. I usally play blitz and have a fun time.
I'm really strage then whenever I'm anxiuos or I'm afraid in a game, makes me play better cause I focus on things better and analyze situations and enemy drawbacks. I'm a master of all trades, and I get through most of the lanes, I might need some help with mid cause I like season 1 and 2 mids :P
I think you should be able to play most champs decetnly but have a pool of champions that you play exceptionally good (like 3-4 champs) but make sure you can play different roles with those chaps (or have one champ for each role/lane)
Nice but I feel like there is more to 1 trick ponys. I main Mid with a very good Lissandra and I hardly loose lane (but it happens). The problem is that its hard to get mid so I have at least 1 champ to each role. That being said I feel like many 1 trick ponys should have one amazing champion but 4 others in the background. Mine are: Darius-Top Fidlesticks-Jungle Lissandra-Mid (The Main) Jinx-Adc Thresh-Supp
Another few tips. - Play comfortably: Make sure you've had something to eat and drink, that your chores are done and you aren't planning to do something else in the next 30 minutes. When you feel rushed, you play recklessly. - Don't play to counter: Most match ups are down to skill rather than kits. Pick a champion you know you can win with rather than someone you've never played with. - CHEESE: Get advantages by waiting at your enemies buffs with your jungler for an easy kill. Do a 4 man roam bot to get your ADC fed. Exploit easy strategies instead of staying in lane all game. And take some AD on ranged mages for last hitting and poke. Also, rush QSS against Fizz, regardless of what champ you're playing. Trust me, it helps so much until level 11. - Falling behind in kills means nothing: Turrets and farm usually mean more than kills. Remember that 1 kill = 15 minions = 1 turret and 7 minions. If their mid starts roaming, just focus on clearing two and a half waves to make sure you don't fall behind them. - Your ADC is your lifeline: There's rarely a lane that can push as hard as any ADC. If you're the ADC, focus on pushing down their bot turret, then head to mid to push their turret down too. Remember, two turrets is 300 gold for everyone. That's a 1.5k gold advantage. - Play safe and don't be flashy: Doing cool things is nice but when it comes down to it, you just want to kill them. Don't play risky, just poke and poke and poke while farming. - Finally, roaming: Has your lane opponent gotten a kill? Go to another lane and help them get a kill. That doesn't mean camp their lane, but that extra 150-300 gold can put you back in the game. League is not a one-man race. You need to make sure your whole team gets over the finish line.
I'm a low elo and new player. I need some help. I like playing tanky toplane or as ADC. Most of the times I rock my lane, and when I can TP for ganking or for getting into a teamfight. As an ADCarry, I try focusing their APC/ADC taking em when they get alone. Like tank, when their carries get alone y hard engage on them. I don't know why, most of the times we lose that TF. Am I doing bad? Or is it my team? Or both? Can somelne help me?

If you don't playing ranked till next season the wins/loses placement will be determined of your hidden MMR(visit lolking and type in your name, it is ''sort of'' your MMR), so most likely you'll be put in bronze again.

Anxiety was a big one for me for a long time. What I did to get over this was level a second account, and play my first ranked game of the day on that account each time. Funny thing is, my elo on my second account became much higher since I didn't worry about whether I win or lose.
As a support main, that last advice is so good........ to my team. Nobody ever helps you ward in low elos.

Yeah as a mid/jungle main i always buy wards but it seems that me and the support only is buying wards sometimes the supp dosen't even buy wards/sightstone. Well i play in EUNE and i hate that server the only reason still being there is i dont have RP and second all of my friends is there. I wish i hade enough rp to transfer them all sometime. ;D

So many people seem to forget that óne ward, just one, can give you baron, drag, 1 kill, an adc lategame walking alone, a 4v3 situation, even more kills, yóu not dying, buffs, killing junlger at their buffs and I can continue this list for ages! 75/100 gold for all that stuff I just called, please mercy, make a video with some good ward places, when to ward etc. It will help a lot I think

my "pro tip" for warding would be ... not every wards has to be inside a bush u know most of the bushes are against a wall which provides literally "less" vision less information about the spot it's better sometimes placing wards in middle of important roads like X shape around blue there are two. After crimson raptors(wraiths) just before going to river outside bush.. going down from there...it shows like 4 or 3 ways of traveling i have also seen the sneaky wards which are placed just in front of dragon or baron pit but not inside but outside directly facing enterance not seeing inside pit but seeing everything outside of it...

While i do agree with all of this, the 4th one you said it is your fault when you lose. But if you go 17/1/5, While your AD jungle Soraka goes 0/17/1, I dont think it is your fault...I agree and disagree, I would say SOMETIMES it is your teams fault and not yours.

if you just hit level 30 on your first acount that means you are arround bronze 2-3 level i recommend either playing ranked teams or just playing normals until you get enough money to buy different rune sets and pages

To get out of elo hell, all you have to do is learn how to play Jana support, play Jana support. Get a Jinx, Kalista or Vayne adc. You basically auto-win every game if you're a good Jana. Since Jana has such good disengage you can stop the enemy from getting good trades. You can also win trades easily because your shield gives ad and your W is basically a built in exhaust. With the ADC I have picked it almost doesn't matter if they get kinda fed or really fed, because they all snowball so well. once they get one kill ahead it's easy to snowball after that. The only thing you have to watch out for is the Graves Leona.

2. Never main support in low, hell, any elo really. You shouldn't rely on your team to carry you in soloqueue

my main account is silver v. my alt account is gold II. i've been playing on my main account forever, and can't carry out of silver. when i started using my alt account, i was easily able to reach gold. when you have such a short amount of games, you can easily carry up or down in the ladder. but when you have 1,000's of games, it's more difficult.
that's what elo hell is. it's more difficult to carry yourself out if you've been in silver for a long time, but if it's a short time, you can easily carry yourself out if you're good enough (assuming you are good enough)
explain that if elo hell doesn't exist. my alt account has 500~ games and is gold II. obviously i'm good enough to be gold. But on my main account? my teammates are just too fucking bad to carry out of silver.
in gold, you have teammates who know wh at they're doing generally. in silver, you don't. if you're an ADC, you have to be lucky to get a good support, otherwise you're unlucky with a bad support and will most likely lose. that's what i get when I play adc main (on both my alt and main account) it's so much easier to carry a game in gold than it is in silver. way easier.
Well if what you say is correct there should be others 'who deserve better' who play at a gold level play. If you are an ADC, you can carry bot. Its not only the support. Give him tips. Remind him to ward. Tell him to zone, Etc. This doesn't only count for bot. You can help all lanes. If you are better then the rest. You will get out of silver. But you can't expect it to be in '5 games'. And if your argument is correct that you need to play more games to get higher. Might be true. But you still lose that ..% of your games. Even though you win more, you say.

Redmercy, what do you think about the build I am currently using? Hydra, Ghostblade, Bloodthirster, CDR boots, Last Whisper and Mercurial Scimitar? Full build you can WEQ people to death, a full combo is certain death.
Glad you said number 4. There are way too many learning channels on TH-cam saying the same thing "ward, don't rage, bla bla bla" but some people don't win games because they're not good at the game. No matter how many times you tell them to not rage, they don't get better mechanically, they make the same mistakes. League is much more than a mental game, if you can't last hit properly, but you maintain your rage, you're still gonna lose.
@McL White Well, I am talking as someone, who mostly jungles here. As a jungler you often want to go, where you see your best chances. If you think a countergank might work AND you see the enemy before a gank and have time to react, you can countergank. But when you don`t see it and just wait in a bush, you loose cs. Because of the now higher spawntimes on wolfes and raptors this gets even worse.
Also most junglers don`t realy camp. They go up and down the jungle and farm and when they see an oportunity, they gank. Because the cross mid while going up AND down, they gank it more often. Also the enemy needs to buy more wards and has easier gank paths(from enemy jungle in the back etc.), so chances are even higher of not being spottet.
And last of all from the junglers point of view: Not everyone can countergank well. Some are just CS-cannons who can gank one target and hold it in place, letting it die. Others have more overall damage, which is by far better for counterganks. Also you need instant mobility for it and your laner needs to react fast, too. When you don`t trust him in helping you asap, thats a major negative.
It sounds hard, but for a jungler often it is a better choise to let one lane die slowly and feed other lanes quickly. Depends on the matchups, but especially squishy junglers are often afraid to gank/countergank feeded enemys, afraid of being burstet.

I got a question for 1-trick-ponies. What if your main champion doesn't fit into the team? Will you gladly accept the loss? For example if your team only has 1 tank and your a zed main. Would you go Zed in mid still? Or would you take one for the team and go a tanky mid laner like Cho'gath or Urgot so your team can have 2 effective tanks?

I think the "learn from your mistakes" is really true. In my first account, I used to be in bronze 1 where I never admitted my mistakes and just kept blaming bad players and my 200 ping x-x. And then I decided to suck it up and start understanding my own mistakes and the enemy team's mistakes. I knew I had high ping so I chose champs that were less reliant on ping. And when the team did not ward, I just made sure I warded a lot whatever lane I was on. I am not in a rank high enough to be a master of all trades or a one trick pony x-x so I just tried to find 3-5 "one trick ponies" for every role so hence I play every role.. probably not equally ^^.. I still have a lot to learn with certain roles especially. I think whereever rank you are, it is important to constantly evaluate what you did wrong and what you did right. I'm in gold 2 now :).
Yeah, I have the exact problem too!, but I completely don't know how to build, see I just follow the format for most of my champions, and my mains are probably just the only ones that I actually know how to build, since i'm just so used to them, I know the awarnesses. But Goodjob!:)
what do you recommend for duo que, I noticed as duo seem to get more players that tend to feed or quit on my team, i know its better to just que up solo but even with losing i find duo to be more fun because i am climbing the ladder with a friend

I think you should have added in map awareness/predicting your enemies movements. One thing I have learned is that having map awareness can save your life. Even if there are no wards placed or only one ward. If i am pushing a lane I use my map to keep track of my enemy. If i realize I am pushed far, but I have vision on 3-4 of the enemy I can see if they are going to keep pushing our lanes or if they leave I can predict what they will potentially do by thinking what I would do in that situation. Think from their position. If you notice they continue to base to take down your turrets. You can assess how much trouble you are in or if it would be more profitable to keep pushing, then returning to base and defending. If they leave your vision on the map and you are trying to take their second top/bot turret you can reasonable predict that they are heading your way to kill you.

personally i like being nervous or anxious before a ranked game or any game for that matter. It puts me more on edge and definitely increases my reaction time. That's just for me but for some people it might actually make them worse off depending on if they really worry about letting their team down.
my record of wards was 61 with Blitzcrank as Supp. Is that good or do i need more as a Support? :o
It's not necessarily about how many wards you place. It is about where you place them and about how many wards you place in good positions
I am warding the jungle of my enemies. Pink Wards and Stealth Wards. And the Dragon of course, in the midgame im warding baron too always and the dragon again.
Regarding #2, I have a legitimate anxiety disorder therefore it cannot be helped at times, any suggestions? I don't really get anxious or nervous but specific things in the game itself can trigger somewhat of a panic state of mind.
This is so true, when i go into a game i say dont flame and gl hf etc. and i play games where i occasionally feed for example i went 0-6 blitz bc i was peeling for my carry, but noone flamed if anything everyone was rather encouraging and even after losing lane, we won the game. I usually dont rage when im loosing a ranked match. Last season i was silver 3.
Everytime i lose a ranked game i just take a break in like 10 minutes and then i have a refreshed my mind to play a new ranked game. I dont really think that i am bad right now as you are saying that some people think that they're bad, but after a game or just when i make a mistake i try to think what i could have done better at that point! ;3

I agree with almost everything you said, except with the third one. The best approach is by far the few-tricks-pony approach. Dont tunnel vision yourself with only one champ, but dont try to learn too many either.

Personally i struggled to go from silver to gold.. Then lcs started in spring and pros came with AP Lulu idea for mid/top, so i tried it too since i like her a lot and started to take her in every single ranked, if she was taken/banned i would take kayle or similar mid.. Sometimes if i would not get mid/top/support i would go tank or safe adc and depend on the team. So when i started to play lulu i hit plat in less than one month.. And she got nerfed so i stayed there.. But the tip would be to choose one champ you really like and that is common pick even in pro league or something like that and then practice that champ hard and play at least 5 games a day if you can, you will improve very much and will win a ton of rankeds.. When i played lulu i won 23 games out of 27 games in 3 days. Have a great season :)
#5 WARDING! Yes in lower ranks that is one sad thing which is next to not known to be everybodys role, supports ward no one else is required that, ffs spend that extra 75/100/250 to get more vision for your team (which you often have after base visit 99% times). Good guide for ranking up, maybe will kick myself more of ranked games this season which is not likely going to happen as i suck haha
hey bro , can I ask you about ranking system this s5 .. My friend told me that the ranking system in s5 is also based on your normal game wins ... I saw a picture in fb,he says that he lost 7 games and win 3 games only but when i search for his acc. it shows 4wins (no lp) but the most confusing part is that he was placed in platinum 5 .. i looked at his normal game wins with a 1.5k wins .. that makes me think that the ranking system this season is also based on your normal game wins ... (im from ph-server (garena)

What I do is choose the best 2 champions plus 1 backup that I am best with in each role and write them down. It keeps me focused in champ select and keeps me from falling into the trap of trying to pick the best champion (counter/popular) vs a champion I'm best with.
Thank you for the video Red. Im a pretty low player and im actually bronze 3 (please dont laught) but i have struggled to get better at League of Legends. Well it has been alot better with this video at 2:48 when you told about Anxiety and being scared to lose really got me really far. Finally i realised that my proplem werent me playing bad but it was inside me i lose games because i get scared of losing but when i started a ranked game i first turned on the fan and drank some water from the fridge and my stress were weakend. Ty alot Redmercy u made my day.
how it is that the items that have active abilities are being shown right above his summoners? is this an in-game UI change or an add on?

Number 2 i find is a bit of a balance. You need to be nervous enough to think about what you are doing but decisive enough to make a choice quickly. Too nervous and you take to long, too decisive and make more mistakes. It took leage for me to learn that and afterwards my other games improved
Personally the advice about anxiety doesn't benefit me much because my personality makes my play style verry aggressive. Therefore my first game i usually win because i play safe and "overestimate" their power, but after a couple of games i get cocky and just fail. However i loved the advice, keep up the good work!
For the 3rd advice I'm not sure which one I am. I have differents mains in each lane. I like to go assassin champs such as talon but love to zed. My top lane I got lots of champs I can use that I have to make a list of them.
So can u help me out red and see eat type I am.
Redmercy i got a question,sometimes when you use w and then q or even just q with zed the q just disappears mid air,any idea why?
Im diamond4, and the thing about people getting nervous is thinking too much on their ranks. People i know usually lolnexus to see what rank their opponent is and gets nervous if they're higher elo. PRO TIP: dont be discouraged to use the website but i think it harms you more than benefits. It puts you on pressure and you should just focus on he current game and punish on their mistakes. And yea its better to main some roles but dont be mad and toxic playing support. I usally play blitz and have a fun time.
I'm really strage then whenever I'm anxiuos or I'm afraid in a game, makes me play better cause I focus on things better and analyze situations and enemy drawbacks.
I'm a master of all trades, and I get through most of the lanes, I might need some help with mid cause I like season 1 and 2 mids :P
I think you should be able to play most champs decetnly but have a pool of champions that you play exceptionally good (like 3-4 champs) but make sure you can play different roles with those chaps (or have one champ for each role/lane)
Nice but I feel like there is more to 1 trick ponys.
I main Mid with a very good Lissandra and I hardly loose lane (but it happens).
The problem is that its hard to get mid so I have at least 1 champ to each role.
That being said I feel like many 1 trick ponys should have one amazing champion but 4 others in the background.
Mine are:
Darius-Top
Fidlesticks-Jungle
Lissandra-Mid (The Main)
Jinx-Adc
Thresh-Supp
Another few tips.
- Play comfortably: Make sure you've had something to eat and drink, that your chores are done and you aren't planning to do something else in the next 30 minutes. When you feel rushed, you play recklessly.
- Don't play to counter: Most match ups are down to skill rather than kits. Pick a champion you know you can win with rather than someone you've never played with.
- CHEESE: Get advantages by waiting at your enemies buffs with your jungler for an easy kill. Do a 4 man roam bot to get your ADC fed. Exploit easy strategies instead of staying in lane all game. And take some AD on ranged mages for last hitting and poke. Also, rush QSS against Fizz, regardless of what champ you're playing. Trust me, it helps so much until level 11.
- Falling behind in kills means nothing: Turrets and farm usually mean more than kills. Remember that 1 kill = 15 minions = 1 turret and 7 minions. If their mid starts roaming, just focus on clearing two and a half waves to make sure you don't fall behind them.
- Your ADC is your lifeline: There's rarely a lane that can push as hard as any ADC. If you're the ADC, focus on pushing down their bot turret, then head to mid to push their turret down too. Remember, two turrets is 300 gold for everyone. That's a 1.5k gold advantage.
- Play safe and don't be flashy: Doing cool things is nice but when it comes down to it, you just want to kill them. Don't play risky, just poke and poke and poke while farming.
- Finally, roaming: Has your lane opponent gotten a kill? Go to another lane and help them get a kill. That doesn't mean camp their lane, but that extra 150-300 gold can put you back in the game.
League is not a one-man race. You need to make sure your whole team gets over the finish line.
I'm a low elo and new player. I need some help.
I like playing tanky toplane or as ADC. Most of the times I rock my lane, and when I can TP for ganking or for getting into a teamfight. As an ADCarry, I try focusing their APC/ADC taking em when they get alone. Like tank, when their carries get alone y hard engage on them. I don't know why, most of the times we lose that TF. Am I doing bad? Or is it my team? Or both? Can somelne help me?
I have good mechanics, even on "not easy to master champs". The only "fail" i see on my gameplay is the communication with my team. I dont know, maybe im the only one feeling like this. How can i say that i need help on my lane cause i got babysitted from the enemy jungler? Maybe im the only one thinking that 80% of junglers in dia give a shit for ur "pls start to countergank". At this point i dont know why im not afk, i mean, if theres no reaction on "help me" in a 100% teamwork game and even in low dia... why should i start tryharding to win? Maybe i got the wrong mindset...

I recently hit lv30 and i played my 10 matches with only 3 wins and i got placed in bronze 1. Is that good? What happens if i dont bother wth ranked until next season? Will i get a worse rank next season?
GreenPantherzFTW Bronze is known for having the worst rankeds players.. So sorry, bronze is pretty bad. If you don't playing ranked till next season the wins/loses placement will be determined of your hidden MMR(visit lolking and type in your name, it is ''sort of'' your MMR), so most likely you'll be put in bronze again.

i personally think for me its best if im a little bit nervous cause it just makes me pay attention all the time and focus on the game

I landed in Bronze 5 season 5. And I felt like I went hard on myself, but after seeing this video once again, I feel like I could believe in my self thnx Red :)
Anxiety was a big one for me for a long time. What I did to get over this was level a second account, and play my first ranked game of the day on that account each time. Funny thing is, my elo on my second account became much higher since I didn't worry about whether I win or lose.
