    Jeff didn’t cause Rob to lose his job. Rob caused Rob to lose his job. All Jeff did was shed light on the misuse and abuse of Rob’s position.

      “It exposed things that he did not want the public to know”, so yes, Christine is right, it shed light on his abuse. None of this would have happened if he was a good person, starting with his coworkers filing a complaint and going to Jeff in the first place.

      @@johndough23I understand why you say that but the prosecutor was spelling out for the jury what Rob’s motive was for the murder. Jeff’s articles flowed from Rob’s own professional and personal misconduct so, but for Rob’s criminal and unethical behaviors, Jeff would never have written about Rob and might still be alive today. Sad but true.

    The prosecution's closing was fantastic! Especially the rebuttal. I'm so glad Hamner specifically pointed out Telles' demeanor while testifying and not just what he said but also how he said it. He was pointing out all the signs of deception.

    I can’t say enough good things about Prosecutor Hamner. His cross examination and his closing arguments were pretty much flawless. His ability to stay focused and talk in such a direct, yet concise, manner without ever really stumbling was really impressive. He doesn’t pause or hesitate at all while, it’s just rapid fire and it all goes so smoothly. He’s really good and he’s also very engaging. Very impressive work

    My grading of the closing arguments:
    Prosecuting attorney Pam Weckerly, Grade: A ....She gave a solid closing argument. Extremely well done.
    Defense attorney Robert Draskovich: Grade B+... C'mon, he had nothing to work with but made an excellent closing. (The first question from the jury while deliberating was how can they zoom in on videos? Recall that Draskovich zoomed in on two videos showing the killer's profile with a full head of hair and a profile dissimilar to Robert Telles'.)
    Chief Deputy District Attorney Christopher Hamner: A+... Outstanding, powerful. He nailed it and hopefully, the jury will nail Telles.

    • @LakeGirl24
      @LakeGirl24 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Why grade the attorney's? Like this is a movie and you're leaving a review of the actors.
      Maybe you walk through life placing judgement on people and thinking strangers care what you think, which explains everything! The entitlement is real with some people.

    • @ChuckRosseel
      @ChuckRosseel 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LakeGirl24 It's one of the great options TH-cam affords viewers, the comment section. You did the same when you wrote your comment. You are a stranger who presumably placed "judgment" on me with the hope that other "strangers" care what you think. I don't have any issues with you feeling entitled to do so. I also used the TH-cam thumbs up or thumbs down option. It's freedom of expression and I love it. Whether fair or not, people always judge other folks' actions, behaviors, and words to some degree. It's a natural and necessary part of the human condition. It's not a movie, it's real life. Lawyers are tested and judged in law school, on the bar exam, in the courtroom, and in public. It's a good thing.

      @@LakeGirl24 I was sorry to learn that you have difficulty with reading comprehension. I have simplified my "wall of words" to help you understand my comment:
      People like to share their opinions in TH-cam comments, and you did the same with yours. You don't mind others judging what you say because it's part of being free to express yourself. Everyone judges each other, and that's normal and important for understanding life. Like lawyers get judged in many ways, it's a good and necessary thing for everyone.

    Concerning the shadowy profile supposedly not matching Telles by showing the driver had hair on his head: Light and shadow can do strange things to a perceived object or person depending on the angle it's viewed from. As an example, people claim that they see faces and pyramids on Mars, until the same area is viewed from a different angle and the truth is revealed. What looks like hair on the profile could be something as simple as a pair of sunglasses resting on the head, or a cap, or even NOTHING but a simple trick of light and shadow.
    There is an extremely large amount of evidence in this case that points the finger at Telles as the murderer. A blurry, shadowy profile is not evidence to the contrary.

      Do you think it will be different than the expression he exhibits whenever concrete objective evidence or logical salient arguments are presented that clearly implicate his direct involvement in these allegations (i.e. for the vast majority of this trial)? An expression that is a blend of "how preposterous!" and "please, I am _the_ smartest person in human history, you are a fool for crossing me."

      Easily planted. The State already admitted testimony showing CSI could not even remember who bagged the hands. Photos of the body with unbagged hands in an office not 50 yards from the PA office on Shadow Lane. They also submitted info they removed a bandaid from Telles finger. Did what with the old bandaid? full of his DNA?
