In all seriousness, this is why it's hard for me to play arena right now. I used to average between 5 and 6 wins, but this expansion... I struggle to go even. The variance is just way too high. You feel like auto-retiring for getting a shit deck because you know you're just going to get fucked anyways. But then you draft a good deck and someone has better than you or you lose to discovers or even more insane decks with hero cards. Beyond a certain point, it's not even salt anymore. It's just a depressing way to look at a game you really like and a game mode you really like but just can't justify playing anymore.
Me and a friend were in a similar state. Switched to two games, both introduced by Kripp actually; Faeria and Eternal. Faeria makes mana screw effectively impossible with even a slight amount of skill from the deck builder, and Eternal is an MTG-digital that just feels and plays so good with alot more depth then hearthstone. Faeria gives you a free arena every 3 days, and Eternal is fairly brutal and unforgiving, but its draft is MTG Style: You keep the cards.
I just had a arena run where I fought at 2 wins a hunter deck with opener alley cat razor maw and hyena. I lost. Then I played a crazy mage deck with 3 great legendary one of them being frost Lich Jaina. 2 meteors
Well i play a lot of arena and the only class that works for me everytime is rogue. And sometimes priest. If i pick anything else i get rekt no matter how good my draft was :/

One of my last games, I played against a Warlock, I had like 4 minios and had board control all game, an easy win , then he top deck the hero card, and in a blink of an eye I lost the game... Blizzard really need to ban hero cards of arena, it's not fun anymore.
Cesar Augusto They did not put Quests into Arena format course it would be OP,but thay had no problem putting hero cards in Arena.I mean,it's not like Mage hero card is stronger than any freaking Quest!
Unluckiest moment for me, I had soulfire plus doomguard for perfect lethal I only had less than 10 health, I was going to lose, I had to avoid discarding doom guard, I had 4 other cards in my hand besides doomguard, and said to myself "to win I need to get good rng just this once, a luxury I do not have," I played soulfire and it immediately took doomguard.

stormscion It was actually still fine until this month, when new cards are no longer dominant. It is way harder to draft anything good now.
