Thanks for speaking on drugs and mental illness. Abilify and mood stabalizers did absolute wonders for my mental health and spiritual development while psychedelics were fun but wreaked havoc more often than not. I was reading Living Thelema while I was inpatient in a shitty mental facility. Reading David Shoemaker say that people need these kinds of meds to complete the Great Work changed my whole perspective. I assumed an anti psychotic would shut off my connection with the divine yet I don't think any drug I can take could do that. After I got on the right meds I started waking up before dawn and hit Liber Resh 3 times a day for 3-4 months in a row. I still can converse with my deities too, I'm just eating sleeping and functioning rather then going into a mania drivin state of spiritual psychosis and ending up hospitalized at an abusive facility. It's funny when the voices in your head tell you that you need anti-psychotics. I'm finally getting my life together and have a positive outlook on life and closer to my HGA and True Will then I ever would be if I didn't get the proper help. I think bipolar people and people with similar disorders are intelligent and can make excellent and profound mystics but they just need the proper treatment and the correct spiritual path for them.

So true. I was an atheist-turned-Thelemite and I fell into all the typical edgelord traps, indulging in the spooky trappings of the left hand path and the more dangerous rituals while rarely purifying or banishing like I should have been. Then I got my life on track, got my degree in Religious Studies and found a new love in Sufism. In my Sufi poetry class, I met my fiancée who is a devout Muslim from Afghanistan and I said my shahada and learned to pray in Arabic. I find the daily ritual of Islamic prayer and the accompanying wudu purification to be very effective without any of the spiritual hangover I used to get from voodoo or goetia. I am still a Thelemite and a Sufi, both the Qur'an and the Book of the Law sit on my altar side by side now and I have the love of my life by my side. My life is better than it has ever been, thanks largely (though not solely) to my switch to a more right hand path approach. Quitting smoking weed helped a lot too.

Yes...very good video. I went through the whole psychedelics thing for years and become an alcoholic as a coping mechanism for the edge! I got a lot of benefits but I would not recommend it to anyone. It took years to get over the addictions. I would not interfere with another person's free will. I would avoid any kind of cult mentality that interferes with your true will. It is good to learn from others but not to follow. I get great information from all sources...with no restrictions! 😊

My personal experience with illness and mysticism is that i could finally stop taking medication for chronic severe depression(which I had for 10 years)after being a mystic for a couple of years. My levels of anxiety have also dropped probably 80%. I'm also paraplegic and it has made me more accepting of the fact of being disabled. Please don't feel like mysticism doesn't "belong to you" if you have any illness. It can actually help you with these things.

No idea if you read comments, but I just came across your channel today and wanted to say thanks, I've been struggling with my path over the last few months and feeling totally lost. I was engaging mainly with darker magik but not doing really anything to counteract it, I thought because nothing obviously bad was happening that it wasn't a problem. But then I watched some of your videos and you explained things in such a way where it made sense to me but didn't rely on the normal moral arguments people make to persuade people not to do baneful work (which irk me because they usually encourage you to be selfish but label it otherwise).
I like that you're very nuanced in your discussions but also not afraid to say what you think (something that plagues pretty much everyone else in this space). I realized just how bad things had gotten for me and now I feel like I've snapped out of the fog I was in and can see things and myself clearly. I feel rejuvenated and motivated to get back to my occult/pagan studies, as well as to start doing my old practices again. So again, thanks for the content you make, I really needed to hear what you had to say!

What do you think drawing a pagan symbol between you and the archangels does? You're attempting to banish the angelic presence you have around you. The original meaning of LBRP is to banish the good and leave you vulnerable to evil. Nothing in the occult world is what it seems. Pray to God/Jesus to guide you to the right path, otherwise you are nothing but easy prey for demons.

I stopped watching prn for a long time and never had sleep paralyisis or fears and wanted to see if there was a relationship. It got to the point i could listen to the most scary stuff in the middle of the night and felt nothing.
Watched some, emptied and listened to Nathaniel Gillis talk about his experiences. Horrifying. Felt like there would be a knock on my door at any minute and visualized a 3 foot tall green man at the foot of my bed. Like the walls would collapse in any second.
I remember being scared like that before so inknew it would stop eventually. it was nothing special but it was interesting to see such an incredibly direct cause and effect.
It was like "hey since you like using that imagination of yours for lies of pleasure lets see what the opposite side looks like."
Was too ashamed to call Jesus and i had pretty much asked for it 😅 so i just kind of resigned myself to it.
So if you ever want to stop watching prn just listen to stories about possesion afterwards it'll scare you straight.
Noone talks like me its scary putting it out there oh well

The greatest “hard truth” about occultism is entanglement in “normie” concerns.
I hear complaints of “stress” among “Magickians”.
This means that these “Magickians” minds and emotions are entangled in the same limited victimizing state as “Slo-Mo Sapiens”.
This can be viewed as a kind of curse, or state of possession.
Bad form by those who supposedly know better.
    I’ve named it “Politrix”.

Great video, a lot of good information!
I would offer respectful helpful critique. As left hand path myself I would kinda disagree with a particular point, most people i know who are left hand path aren't personally concerned with doing baneful practice or curses, hexs, etc etc. the lhp philosophy is basically to be equal to the gods or connected to personal power so we kinda always feel protected from outside and inside spiritually. I don't really ever feel threatened or offended enough to "hex" someone. On the contrary you could say I feel like the gods or spirit has my back , like if someone is out to harm me angels or some other entity will take care of them without me even knowing sometimes. On the other had(literally) so many people who claim to be rght hand path have asked me how to curse someone or they have tried to use magick to "right a wrong". This includes binding someone or even trying to kill them with hex. A lot of rhp people seem to feel they're always in need of praying for help .
The basic idea in lhp is self deification to feel empowered, so called black magick may or may not be a part of that but to my experience most of the people i know who identify as lhp in some way would rather not waste their energy for revenge or spite.
    Just sharing my experience.
Also thank you so much for the way you described "latent athiesm" I think I was describing it as resistance to spiritual ideas as a whole because of religious trauma, I think your concept is a good term for a wide group of concepts that a lot of us go through in esoteric community.

Grew up with an extremist christian mother but concerning mental illness, I "believe" that the brain is not only the chip, keepers of our thoughts, controller of our body BUT also restrains the mind. Healthy brain=Limited Mind power. When the brain becomes damaged, the mind's restrainment becomes weaker. I'm not promoting drugs nor alcohol (even though I'm an alcoholic). But your right about breathing techniques, which either hesitate or slow the breath depending on the situation.

Prioritize practical aspects such as finances, health, relationships, and other tangible benefits in life before delving into mysticism and the occult. These esoteric pursuits should be viewed as mere hobbies, akin to watching television or reading books.
Regardless of the cultural or religious background, achieving financial freedom always takes precedence over spiritual enlightenment. The ability to manage one's finances effectively empowers individuals to attain happiness, peace, and fulfill all their material needs. However, it is crucial to utilize financial resources wisely in order to reap the benefits they offer.
Based on my personal experience, I have delved into various subjects such as Thelma, mysticism, parapsychology, Vipassana, and more. However, I have come to realize that these pursuits were ultimately futile. Fortunately, I have now shifted my focus towards practical matters, such as stability, which provide something that spirituality could never offer.
One can accumulate numerous "experiences," yet they merely represent psychological phenomena that can be surpassed by more purposeful endeavors, such as securing a well-compensated occupation or engaging in charitable acts.

Talking about latent christianity, latent atheism, after 8 years as a Catholic when i went down my spiritual journey, and I had a negative experence which caused me to to eventually leave the church. I find it very hard to get into anything spiritual anymore. For example i love reading about Heathenry and the spiritual paths connected to Heathenry, I love reading about the Norse gods and I love the, I feel like I vibe with Heathenry personally, I tried practicing in the beginning of my journey into Heathenry and I just got to a point to where I can even do that, like I can't even do anything like leave offerings or light incence for the gods, like basic simple stuff I cant even do. I just feel like I'm spiritually dead inside, like my time in the Catholic church just killed any desire in me to be spiritual or practice spirituality becuase I was doing so much as a Catholic. I was involved in bible study groups, I would read scripture during mass, I was pretty involved. Now I feel just spiritually dead inside, I love reading about Heathenry and different pagan paths and other stuff, I do have a curiosity in the occult and magic and witchcraft, but I simply have no desire to practice. I would classify myself as Agnostic, not an atheist, I do believe in something, I just don't know what that something is. Is there anyway to cure this "spiritually dead" feeling I just can't seem to shake?

    • @ChiDante
      @ChiDante 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

There is this concept i think of carl jung of the "shadow of god" that says that the west kinda through the baby out with the bathwater when they got rid of the church power. Meaning that what "God" meant was so much more than just the religion. Leave a "god shaped hole" in peoples hearts.
It would be of interest to do a kind of soul retrieval and ,so to say, salvage meanings that were attached to the concept of god". I find it out right ridiculous that some people think that if they stop believing that they also through out the conscious and moral values and that there is nothing stopping people from being horrible human beings.
If you needed a "sky daddy" to not commit all sorts of sins, were you ever even a good person to begin with... Anyways, i would recommend to do some shadow work and get what it meant to you back or transform it into a more truer essence that you call a part of you. Like faith

You have to see substances like psychedelics like a nice, juicy steak (or other tasty dish). A steak will make you happy, will nourish you, and get you energy to get through the day. However, when you eat steak every day, it will become stale and will not taste so great or give you the satisfaction like before. Not to mention that it will cause psysical complaints and make you fat. Take psychedelics (and any drug for that matter) responsibly. Reap the benefits and enjoyment you get from them, but do not take excessive amounts of them, lest you will become numb to their effects.

i have ptsd and occultism has really helped me, i like to learn new things, i work with crystals and im into mediumism
but if someone is currently having grandiose or paranoid delusion(example with psychotic disorders but also bipolar mania) it might be good advice to first get ones mental health more stable before learning about these things, idk

Just discovered your channel and I'm loving it! I agree with everything you've said here. One hard truth I would like to add is when making ritual offerings, please be mindful that what you do in the physical realm is still in the physical realm. If you "offer" food, libation, tobacco, incense, charcoal or other material, it will affect the real life flora and fauna. Also, offering endangered species like palo santo, sandalwood, or frankincense is not a good offering. In my nowhere-near-humble opinion, it's litter and pollution, whether it's soil, water or air. I would instead recommend doing a litter pickup day or some other volunteer effort to show your dedication to the Gods, but do it in a way that does not cause harm in the real world.
