I like to make pillow cases to give to friends and family. Some of your novelty fabrics are intriguing. The batiks are always one of my favorites when I go to quilt shows.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to bundle identical it's together. As a quilter it is often important to buy enough of the precut sets to complete the quilt. I have often bought 4 jelly rolls in order to make one quilt or even 6 layer cakes (stack of 10" squares) for one quilt. Maybe offer a free queen quilt batting pack with a lot that would make at least a queen quilt.
this aussie sewer is sitting here drooling and sitting in jealousy over thus unit - i want it all - the ideas and inspiration thoughts flowing are wish it was economically viable for me to purchase from you and ship here ..... my bank account on other hand is grateful as we are only just now exiting birthday and christmas season

I’m with your mom- I love it all!!!! I would have a hard time selling them. So far favorite ones are the yardstick/tape measure, the sewing machine print and the craft room print. The high top sneakers. These are all great for scrubs!!!
Would love to get material but been homebound 23 months with broken back. Not able to do my tutoring job. I won't probably watch because I already know what I want. It all. So beautiful. My mom quilted all my life. I quilt. You have a gold mine there. God bless you

Such beautiful fabric and wow what a lot . You guys are going to make a lot on this unit . Walmart’s fabric is so expensive . We don’t have any fabric stores near us and the textile mills are all going out of business so all that fabric is a blessing .
I made quilts about 10 years ago for all my grandkids... looks like I need to make some for my great grandkids now.....I'm so happy for you all... you have been getting some great units..see you on your auctions

The wool squares and perle cotton is the best! The embroidery thread is used for punch needle. When are you doing auctions??
Oh my, be still my heart! You so scored! Will you sell by bolt or do yards or collections? Also, terminology for the large 10”squares are layer cakes, 5” squares are charm squares and the precut strips are jelly rolls.

I saw the Christmas bolts of fabric. The first bolt you took out looked like it had different pictures on it. About 15 yrs ago on I bought a 1 yard remnant that had 6 panels. I made six pillows and sold them for $20 each. I am will be looking for you auction to see that

As a textile artist, there is so much in this unit there isn’t enough time in one lifetime. And the mills they came from create premium textiles for artists.

Wade, remember that you can take them off the bolt to ship and use more standard size shipping boxes. I don't remember if odd sized boxes cost more to ship but its sure easier to deliver and carry.

10 inch squares are layer cakes. 2.5 inch rolls are jelly roll. 5 inch squares are charm packs. And 18 x 22 bundles are fat quarters.
And you can find quilt patterns that utilize each of these forms of fabric packs.
I was wracking my brain trying to remember that the squares are called layer cakes! I am so glad you posted so I could release my brain and not have to post this myself. Thank you.

I hope you make great $$$ on all this fabric. It looks like it’s 100% cotton which is, of course, best for quilting. We all love to see it and those who make quilts or sew otherwise, love it too. I’m sure you’ll have quilters flocking to the sale! I don’t quilt anymore and have begun to sell some of my stash. I will never forget a fabric hoarder sale I went to some years back. This lady had two LARGE storage spaces full of bolts of cotton…most of it very high quality! She had gotten herself in a terrible bind by buying up tons of fabric and was going to lose all of it if she didn’t sell off most of the hoard in like 24 - 48 hours….something like that. She was up against the wall! Supposedly she had planned to open a fabric store? Maybe that was just a lie she told herself. I hope she got the therapy she needed to stop her fabric hoarding or else she’ll just start hoarding again. Her husband was there with her and I think he was maybe an enabler and I think they had other serious financial problems. It’s very sad to see this kind of thing. But at least good storage resellers like you you Wade & family, can support yourselves with “stuff” that may otherwise be tossed or mishandled and make your customers happy too.

Now we all know why a beautiful brand new quilt cost hundreds of dollars. Not counting the hours the designer took making them. I’ve never seen that much fabric in my life. I’ve never been to a fabric store. Oh this is (GV) Denise’s paradise. My friend always had her drapes home made. Her windows were 32x 80 in size. Then in 1996 I bought a house with one house in between us. Guess what? My windows are 32x80. I used windows blinds. Several years ago I did buy drapes off Amazon. Very expensive. One bedroom has 5 of those windows. The fabric is beyond beautiful!! Congratulations on such an amazing unit!!

30:25 I love the batiks! I recognize Bali watercolor strips in the right corner. I bought 2 packs of those for a blue/green sea color bargello quilt. With the purple and yellow colors I made a blanket for a bed. Don't know if they still sell those strips. Great quality!

Hello Wade,Grandma and Ashley. I had to pop in my darlings. I have now watched it all the way through, and what a marvellous unit!! The fabrics will be in great demand, and the different kits will tempt others, I can't sew anymore, but I wish I could especially after seeing what the different boxes held. Great unit, now I will be using Wade's favorite word today, To mail these bolts of fabric will be "insane"! You will have to invest in the time taking them off the bolts, but keep each name on the end with each fabric!

Hi Wade and Grandma V. A lot of quilting shops went broke during the pandemic. I used to have an on line quilting shop back in the early days of Ebay and did well. These fabrics are not that old - some collections a few years but in mint sought after condition. When selling, take off the cardboard bolt and put in standard sized shipping boxes for the best shipping rate.
