- 'Leila' is the first song to be released from Miami Horror's new conceptual record "The Shapes" - a unique 5 track release that see's Miami Horror step out of their comfort zone. The Shapes combines upbeat percussive grooves, with experimental vocal styles that echo Talking Heads and other post-new wave groups of the 80s.

I don't usually comment on stuff due to fear of it being pointless or getting lost in the shuffle.. But this song is so damn good. From a production stand point especially. It pumps, there's clarity, and is spatially.. perfect. It's criminal that it has under a million views, but i'm also happy that it can be our little secret.
James Booth well said.
So damn good! 🤠❤️
I love Miami Horror, my musical style 😍😘😘Sounds like 80's music ...the best !

LYRIC
I just can't believe it
You left me here alone
When you coming back now?
Looking in the mirror
For all I used to know
I just can't believe it
Leila, why did you leave again?
Stay home
Leila, can you believe again?
Stay home
Stay home
It's never like the first time
Where did it go wrong?
It's always in your head now
I always had to wonder
Why you're letting go
It's never like the first time
Leila, why did you leave again?
Stay home
Leila, can you believe again?
Stay home
(Stay home, stay home, stay home)
(Stay home, stay home, stay home)
Been lonely since you left me
When you coming home?
Please come back to bed now
I always had to wonder
Why you're letting go
You drive me into madness
Leila, why did you leave again?
Leila, can you believe again?
Leila, why did you leave again?
Stay home
Leila, can you believe again?
Stay home
thank you!

finding great new music is like breaking in a new pair of pajamas on the same day you get a new sheet set. heaven! this is amazing.
I heard this song in a dressing room at the mall and shit a brick house. I️ pulled out my phone “WHAT SONG IS THIS SIRI” , no response - so I️ just started typing the lyrics as fast as I️ could into my phone but could barely hear what was being said. By some stroke of luck and sheer perseverance I️ have finally found this song again and I️ am so happy.
Butt Hole It happened to me with Carried Away by Passion Pit. I had to write the lyrics on Google. 😂

Only a true music lover would be this desperate to find a random song playing in a mall XD I do the same thing all the time. It sucks when you fail to find it though...
@@samiraziz7840 they had to have permission to cover it considering they’d be sued and it taken down otherwise lol

Let me find you in a Target - SOLD!
YO THAT'S WHY I'M HERE TOO

@@samiraziz7840 they sampled from this song, it's not a direct cover. They definitely had the permission to do it.
@@a.c.7573 Don’t If You Have Personal Knowledge That “They ‘Definitely’ Had the Permission To Do It”, However, Just In My Opinion, It Sounds Like a Direct Copy. It’s Still a Nice Song, Regardless. Thanks for Your Opinion.
Great comeback!
captain ent I think he's referring to their old sound.
When I first came out the closet in 2010, "Sometimes" inspired me.
When I got off the streets and started thriving in 2015, "cellophane" kept me going.
Was rocking out to this jam and shapes in 2017 while my poor ass was struggling to get on the list for srs.
And in 2019 I am almost a year post op and can't wait for their next inspiring album.

@@samiraziz7840 This happens all the time in music, they will say they're influenced by another band's music or song or something along those lines. More than half the music that exists today is based off another song or sound someone already created.

For a soft chicken boy, Suptic has fucking great taste in music.
Ceri yesss
