Not entirely sure if you are U M A M I, but I'm pretty certain, glad the interface animations led me here to find an abundant supply of emotion music that kicks around in my chest. Good work, keep going fellow, we need people who can make things like this.
@@hexsystem two years later and I am amazed by your genius. What man can call himself an artist to its exact definition. The greatest men were artists. You are an artist.
The song Call for Samael was at first a beautiful song. I thought perhaps the people were speaking at a funeral, and the woman's words in particular moved me. I dug a little deeper to see where that audio originated from and soon my interpretation went from awe to disturbed. I had no idea audio existed of the Jonestown Massacre.
It's been so long since I've found such a reach seam of sick shit as U M A M I. You're a unicorn dude. Please keep going. It feels like you're only getting better at expressing & understanding yourself.
Not many albums get the feel and atmosphere that F#A# by Godspeed You Black Emperor was able to achieve so many years ago. This album is one of the few that does.
I don't think I've gotten as many chills listening to music as I have this. The surrealist nature of the tone and melody, the bass, the vocals intertwined between every so often, it's nothing I haven't come to expect from the creator of Interface, but it's phenomenal. Wonderful job, U M A M I Also, gotta love the philosophical ideals of metempsychosis, or the ideas of transmigration of the human soul
Noticed a cool similarity (leitmotif?) between Seven Crowns and XX04 from your Ashes EP, very suprised to have heard that on one of your more obscure tracks
I love how there's always a happy undertone drooling through the chaos and melancholy overtones within your melodies. A true reminder that hope is never far from hopelessness.
This is so good, is literally what i was craving for since a long time, a music with a very rich ambience, enought to transport you to the story it is trying to tell and leave to your ears the path you decide to follow
I’ve always wanted to listen to your music, but I never have for some odd reason. This randomly popped up in my recommended just now and I decided to finally try it out. I’m on the first song right now and I’m already hooked, I wish I looked at this sooner.
I love watching you learn that "less is more" in real time. It's going to take me a longer time to learn that, myself. I have the dumb. I'll get there. Can't wait to join you in the Candian (that's a John Candy reference. It has nothing to do with Canada) version of Valhalla.
You should definitely advertise your music channel on your main channel; I was extremely hungry for this form of your content, yet i only found it through an obscure youtube comment chain. It's likely that other people are in the same situation that i was and need only a small nudge to come here in turn.
This is simultaneously inspiring and triumphant, while equally dark and foreboding. I love the music, man. Keep it up! P.S.- Do you think this will ever be a vinyl?
Hey m8 sure go ahead. Just include a link to hexsystem.com in the description. If the music is claimed by content ID just send me your channel info to info@hexsystem.com and I'll whitelist it.
Dude...for real? That's incredible af, brother. I've been trying out some of my own synth sequencing with a particular program with some cool results. But this.

Hello there quadruple O, it is me umami. Thanks for your kind comment. :)
HEXSYSTEM I skipped to hear some of the music, found out it was you, I'm starting at 0:00 and already know repeating this multiple times.

I'm loving that harsh metal spring noise in the first song. Exactly the noise I would expect at samael's arrival.
This is music for my factory job.

If John Candy stood in for Odin, We would all be peaceful fatbodies, and lightning would just be seasonal fireworks.
Love to your spirit.
Absolutely love this music and the artwork as well.

A caveat, I'm purposely not going to touch the Interface soundtrack at all.🤘😉🤘I'm Joshua, btw. Fellow animator-in-time.🖤
Cheers Joshua! :)
