Espero que lo de hermosa físicamente le dé igual a su padre. Hay hasta estudios sobre la atracción entre padres e hijas y madres e hijos que no han tenido relación hasta la juventud de los hijos. Te sorprenderías de la de parejas nuevas que surgen de esos encuentros. No hay amor, porque el amor se construye día a día y lo que hay es un gran vacío que llenar y atracción entre genes similares. Exactement. J'ai eu mon père dans ma vie jusqu'à mes 9 ans. Ensuite, mes parents ont divorcé et je l'ai vu de moins en moins, jusqu'à ne plus l'avoir vu depuis maintenant 15 ans. J'ai quelques fois prit les devant et est allé le voir mais ensuite, il n'a jamais prit la peine de m'appeler, alors que je suis très facilement rejoignable. Il dit qu'il s'ennuie de moi mais ne donne jamais de nouvelles. Pourtant, je n'attends que ça. Je continue d'espérer...

Et pour les femmes qui taisent l'existence d'un enfant à un père ( 4 pour cent environ des naissances)?Et pour les femmes qui font endosser la paternité à un mari pour l'enfant conçu avec un amant ( 4 pour cent environ là encore des naissances)?Et pour la naissance sous X que les hommes n'ont pas contrairement aux femmes( environ 3600 cas d'hommes traduits en justice pour leur imposer une paternité, souvent plusieurs années après, certains voient leur vie partir en lambeaux, certains se suicident)...ET l'immense injustice en justice familiale pendant et après le divorce avec ces femmes qui utilisent le sexisme contre les pères pour les exclure de la vie de leur enfant (éloignement volontaire de garde, non présentation, déclarations mensongères etc), et le refus de garde alternée(connais tu les chiffres du ministère pour la justice familiale? c'est édifiant...on est TRES loin de l'égalité)...donc, OUI, comme tu dis, les lois devraient évoluer sur tous ces points( y compris avec la GPA altruiste pour tous les hommes après la PMA pour toutes les femmes, car les hommes celibataires ou gays ,qui veulent etre père, devraient avoir le droit eux-aussi...)

It is not wise for Pascal to NOT apologize. He should apologize! What he did to her was completely selfish and wrong! He needs to say, "My behavour was selfish and was wrong. When my parents died I finally woke up to this realization. I was wrong. Would you forgive me?" He says he was young so Pascal is still making excuses for his selfish, self centered behaviour.
He wants to parade her around as his daughter at his wedding. Seriously? Pascal needs to allow the time to develop a respect and trust between him and Sabrina before he does that!
Personally, I think she should have a lot of *boundaries* with Pascal as he still is thinking of himself and his feelings first. This will be a difficiult relationship for both of them because of this. In my opinion, he is older but he is not mature in his thinking.
Always I am happy when they open the curtain but not this time. I think it would have been better if Sabrina had waited to begin a relationship with Pascal and had left the curtain closed, taken his contact number, and when she was ready (and not under pressure from a TV show) she could have then called him.
Nonetheless my wish is that Sabrina is happy in her life and whatever she decides in the future in how much contact she has with Pascal.
Especially her body language. She opened the curtain more for his sake. I wish he asked for forgiveness. And also didn't come out too open with the wedding yet. She was already surprised knowing its him then boom, he's getting married I mean that was a lot of information at the same time because as a child she would question why he left her mother in the first place even though her mom moved on. I hope that they will reconnect though and maybe this is the beginning for him to learn and rebuild his relationship with her. Atleast he is now taking responsibility

He means he does not have the right to have her apology. It is not the same thing
He is feeling guilty and says that he knows he does not deserve her apology because nothing can justify what he did. I do think that his interest is genuine. He started trying to find her for many years and even called her. That shows how much he regretted and wanted her not only to come to his marriage but because he realized how stupid his decision was, he really wanted her back in his life. She did the right thing to open the curtain. Time is not always in our favor. It is most of the time best to do things when we can before it's too late. Maybe they can gather some happy memories together and experience at some level the love that they should have shown each other from the start if he did not make that huge mistake of leaving his family. She is brave and obviously well educated and caring. I really hope that they are both happy and as close as possible.

I enjoy videos of this show very much. I am American and live in the state of Texas. Almost every show I have seen has brought tears to my eyes. I hope the show remains successful. My grandfather’s mother, whom I never knew, came from France. There is so much love and humbleness in the hearts of the people that is lacking in many Americans. Thank you for sharing these stories on UTube!
These are actually older shows. Mostly from the early 2000s. The show originally ran from 2002 until 2006, and has been off the air since. These are all just old reruns. There later was some controversy about the show, that I won't go into here.

C est un peu facile après des années de dire "ma fille".
On ne peut malheureusement pas rattraper le temps perdu mais pour la petite ça peut lui faire du bien que le père regrette ça peut soigner son cœur enfin.
Et continuer sa vie plus sereinement.
I'm glad these two were able to reconcile, but I'm a bit disturbed by the way this man didn't acknowledge that what he did was wrong - that he cheated his daughter out of her father. He kept saying that he was young and "wasn't ready" to be a father. For God's sake, he wasn't 13. He was 20. Plenty of people throughout history have become parents at a younger age than this. I'm glad that he recognizes that he can never make up to her what he deprived her of. But he should be more contrite than this. After all, when he contacted her at first she was 16. Most of the upbringing is done by the time a person is 16. He skipped out on all the hard parts and now hopes she'll just let him pick up where he left off when she was a small child. Notice that he didn't say he'd give anything to be able to turn back time and be a real father to her. I'm not really sure he's sorry that he bailed out of her life all those years ago. Let's remember that he WAS "ready" to have the sex that created this child. Some people just don't want to live responsibly.
And he said he really felt her absence when his mom, dad and brother passed away. The men who bail out of parenting because they are not ready forget that the women might also not be ready for the child. Since he was 20, the mother of Sabrina might have been very young too. And so if you are both not ready, what do you do, you both gang up together against the world and give your child the best childhood of their life. Even if you break p with the mom, you can still be there for the child as a father.

Sabrina's body language at the end of the video speaks volumes, in my opinion. I feel sad she opened the curtain instead of taking Pascal's contact information & meeting him in the future after she had time to think about it.
I agree about her body language at the end, but the good thing about this TV studio situation is that it pressured her to have contact with her biological father, and now that obstacle has been overcome. Whether or not they choose to continue to share their lives together in the future may or may not happen.
