- The Lion has returned to Warhammer 40k and what better way to celebrate then reunite him with his family. All 5 Primarachs hit the field, 3000 points a side and much carnage follows.

I don't know why, but every batrep I see with Angron just results in him getting absolutely deatroyed before getting into combat
That's cause he has no rules to protect him till he gets into combat. I mean Ghaz has no more than 3 wounds per phase, and he is just a very large Ork. You would think a Daemon Primarch would have something similar, but he just gets nuked during the opponent's first shooting phase.
@@shadowcaptaincain It was a joke, but yeah I think they shit the bed with Angron's rules. The other two are tanky/reduce wounds/ways to reduce hit rolls, but Angron is just fast with a 4++. The Bloodtide token "rebirth" ability is interesting, if not broken, as seen with how Winters killed him several times and only losing BECAUSE of Angron repeatedly Distraction Carnifex-ing. But, they really need to atleast give him some sort of ability that prevents him from dying far too quickly, like a -1 to hit ability that, lore-wise, stems from a massive influence of Khorn, making people more violent and angry, so therefore less precise and patient with their shots, or something to just give him a bit of survivability
@@randomguy3849 no, Angron is fine as it is. If he has the ability to revive, he must be glass canon. Having to kill a PRIMARCH several times per game is not fun.
Yeah Angron is probably one of the nastiest models in the game right now. Being able to just get back up and deploy anywhere on the table is nuts. Even at 8 wounds he can solo most things on the table

Also, my god, that Death Wing terminator is an absolute legend!
I mostly dropped out of watching batreps after Angron (but the disinterest began with votann, angron just was the las drop). Who the hell made his rules? Even here, winters and stylus laugh "hahaha he just dies" and such, but he won the game by tying those thirteen and girlyman, round after round in the freakin map edge. It's truly stupid.
I'll just stay out of 40k altogether at least until they'll add some cool really warhammerish faction to counter the votann cringe (maybe full rogue traders, maybe full inquisition), cause I won't be bothered to come back just for "hey, we fixed Angron".

The loyalist primarh color schemes look really nice, Lion technically is never supposed to be or has ever been represented in green so the so dark green it’s black looks nice especially with your Ben 10 deathwing. Golden gilly looks nice too

@@WoffBoot I think Magnus reminded me of the reddish Cyclops in Sinbad, and their scale made me think of Talos towering over everyone in Clash of the Titans... it's that same epic feel. Yeah, was an awesome game...awesome come back too!!

Mortarion is actually larger than I thought, and Angron smaller than I thought.
I think a big factor on Mortarion is that his feet aren't touching the ground, but instead he is hovering slightly above. Makes him look taller than he actually is.
So what did you name the Doom Slayer in disguise? I mean, the Dark Angel?
We all know that the game ending there saved both Chaos Primarchs from that Dark Angel with the Cyclone launcher.

Angron should only haven alowed to cone back once. And don’t think there should be generated blood tithes points when all world eaters was gone. But it was fun to watch.
Great battle report though i noticed a lot of rerolls that seem like they would be turned off from mortarion since it is within 9.

So long as you have 2 Blood Tithe points and enough space on the table 9" away from enemy units, yes, he can come back that many times.
Anyone else notice that the chaos guy is the one that strategically placed the lion closest to the tanks during winters’ charge phase? Then he was able to shoot him on his next turn. 🤣.

havin t watch yet , just want to point out that bloodtith should only be gain by when a unit is killed by angron and WE unit or when angron or WE unit die. otherwise , we don t have to battle it out to see who s the last primarch standing since it s clrearly going to be angron. k go watch it now.

Ever since the lion came out I’ve been begging for someone to do a battle report like this where all the primarchs are at peak efficiency and just go at it. I have the 3 daemon primarchs and I might have to start a loyalist army just so I can do one like this

What a rollercoaster of a game. Great battle, plenty of tension and drama.
So... Who's making the successor chapter that worships the light of the emperor in the form of Cyclone Missile Guy? Or Sisters Order? Even a Mechanicum Cult worshipping the Armour?
Great battle but I feel for winters. According the internet BT points are generated when you have an army containing only korne so he should not have got BT from other units non korne units dieing and killing. So angron should not have come back that many times.
Also Lion should not have died when he did. Any player charging would have charged in having him screened by the terminatorsand blade guard. But stylus moved him and put him right in front of his own tanks and the terminators behind him. And then he pointed out that winters made the mistake putting him there.
To me it's a great game but due to stylus working the rules to give him an advantage it made gave the game have a bit of a bad taste for me. I think it would have been really close if he didn't do that. Not the tabling it was. (Except the missile hero!)
Sorry you didn't enjoy that Ben. Winters simultaneously films, plays, and narrates the game, so I was doing my best to help it move along. I would never intentionally move someone's models to a bad position (no need to attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity).
That cyclone missile Terminator was Alpharius, supporting his brothers, from the midst of the file and rank. I'm sure of it!
