Moperc really does make some of the best bongos I've ever played. Heavy but truly worth it. I've played all their models but own the custom cubano and the salsa club (which i beleive has been renamed) damn good drums
Hi... Brother Eric Beatiful Bongos...Congrats! Now you have the full set..El sonido esta A FUEGO 🔥🔥🔥Enjoy them... Saludos desde Orlando Florida...Blessings! Exito!
I'm curious why you didn't choose Manitos instead. I've heard it said that solid-wood drums are always going to sound better than staved drums. Thanks for your response.
Makes me not so interested in Moperc. That’s just too much of an investment to someday end up in the landfill. I have two guitars from the 1920’s and a mandolin from 1912. All three are still in great working order.
I have a set of LP congos and bongos that are over 30 years old. I would check out LP’s selection. They are more fairly priced and can last a lifetime.
Niiiiiiiiice bro, they sound awesome, if they sound that good out of the box, I could just imagine what they’ll sound like once they are broken in. Lol 😀👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼
How important would you say it is that the pitch be equal at all four lugs on each drum? Some of mine are a half-step apart from each other, and I think that may negatively affect the resonance. I am afraid of tightening the low lugs too much. What's your take?
That custom cubano is one of the best bongos i have ever played. I got 6x3/4 x 8 maple in redwood. The red looks like a blood color. Add the grain from the maple and that brushed aluminum looking steel hardwear....oooooooh fiya!!! Bro you will love that bongo. It is def one of the best bongos being made today!! Enjoy bro.
Eric can you tell the thickness of the heads please? Im ordering a custom bongo with steer now and it would help me to have this beast as reference. Thank you
Hi Eric, are you sure the brand bongos are not made with solid staves?, I asked one time that to Meinl and they said they use solid staves for the bongos, the congas are indeed made with sandwiched ply's to make a single stave but that's not the case for the bongos since the staves used are much smaller. Nice bongos this Moperc by the way, cool sound.
Bueno UD.
??? Did he say they were for sale? And if so, you would probably not want to pay the price. These are fine hand crafted instruments. I have 3 sets and they are of the highest quality. Not crappy mass produced BS.
I'm not impressed with those Moperc bongos. It could be you didn't tune it high enough because that hembra sounds dead. Perhaps it's the skins, or the quality of the bongos not up to par or simply your playing isn't at that level for those extremely expensive bongos. You could most likely get a much better sound out of a pair of MEINL Woodcraft Series Wood Bongo BWB500. Heck for the price of those Moperc's you could buy 2-3 high end LP bongos. Even Gon Bops or Pearl Series Elite sound much better than those.
Que es "apagados"? Pregunto porque tengo 3 pares de bongo de esta marca. A tenido LP toda mi vida. Los instrumentos que fabrica este artesano son de la mas alta calidad y hablar de sonoridad - hasta la fecha, ningun otro se a comparado.
How much does this company paid you to promote this company….. I can understand your excitement over this instrument……. Bull skin hey I love your enthusiasm but most individuals can afford these…… these are for a serious musician next time please show your 🎤 setup
I don’t get paid by this company to promote anything. I am an endorsed artist but definitely don’t get paid. A mic set video I did here th-cam.com/video/GOUFYyKJ5e8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dj1YHp54VugeqSgK

@@BlackPatti He gets them for free. So, he probably doesn’t really care about longevity.
I was about ready to pull the trigger on a set of Mopercs. Now I am going elsewhere. I guess I am glad to get this info before I spent a lot of money.

Eric: te puedo consultar cherry vs walnut? 8.5 vs 9 hembra? para un Moperc bongo. Gracias!

Exactamente. Eso lo que escuche fue ruido y desorden. No frases y a velocidad innecesario.
Waiting on your signature series. What would be your ideal design? Make that happen.
Como suena esooooo!!!
😯
can you tell me the weight, please?
Ash is a bit heavier than mahogany or cherry. I would say they would weigh about 10.5 to 11.5 lbs.
Martillo.
.... another promo :)
lowest price?
