Nice video, guys , since you guys have the link to ED Diaz you should talk to him to get the MKS20 and p330 in those keyboards the way the gospel community want it , the fantom need it also please 🙏
Yamahas CK seriess (I have one) is also adopting the Nord stage layout. So tht's three companies that are building this way now. Hopefully a standard, so we do not have to relearn stuff and menu dive
I’ve been saving for the M8X. Now I’m 100% getting the Vstage lol!! So much more I can do with it!! Also, I’m going to try inspire my son in aux keys!! I really feel like he can do well there! Gonna get him a Jupiter and let him mess with it. I have no experience with aux lol
Thanks for the forecast! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Love your distinction between players and programmers. For me and many, its about playing. The Roland though, has a better synth section. Ep section is better
@@Johnmike I played one. I love it, I bought one. That's how much I like it, You have to have the warm amp - maybe analogue? I have a stage 4 too, i have never liked the sounds, except the Stockholm Rhodes with a violin bass (synth section), if you have one try this, its supremely playable. The Nord Pianos are too harsh IMO. Tomorrow I order the V stage. I took a real dee pdive into the videos and manual
But wait... a couple buck more gets me a Fantom EX that has everything and more. When we compare that V stage to the Fantom it puts the V stage in a weird spot. Had the V Stage has the MKS engine, it would make it standout
41:58 Ain't no pro keys player heard of a battery backup (UPS). If I was playing to 10,000 or even 1000 people, I'd have racks of power conditioners for the whole stage, and a UPS on every computer, and keyboard. That being said your point about Kronos X and Kronos 2 board issues is not gonna be fixed by a UPS. I wish the new Kronos was a real revolution, not a minor bump.
I spent about 40 hrs listening to the V Stage, watched all the videos. I listened carefully to all the sounds in my studio, with good speakers. I think the Roland wins the Nord battle. The Nord is liudicrously limited by the 1 gb storage. To compare VSL Synchromn pianos come in at about 2tb. That's 2000 times bigger. It's stupid to think that you can create a decent piano with these limits. The whole idea of having different sizes of pianos, when you have paid well over price for the board is wrong. Very wrong. it should be the best all of the sounds should be the best, no quibbling. Personally I prefer modelling keys. Sampling is about recording another instrument at pp, mf. f. ff etc and then crossfading. It does not play real. A modelled piano gives more dynamics and expressiveness. It also gives much more control over settings. The Roland has a far superior screen which support much finer settings, for example the VDU will show EQ as a graph. All the screens seem to be a deeper dive into settings, especially the Leslie. The options are limited on the Stage 4. I find the Stage 4 Leslie particularly lame, but then everything is in comparison to my A100 and Leslie.
I have a bad opinion of Nord. They are all overpriced. If you understand the world of sampling keyboard you must realise the memory is far too small for the price. Also i dont think the DAC and the ADCs are good enough. I had the C2 I never played it, it was too syntetic. The Stage 4 is better, but of course it's single manual. TBH there is no such thing as a digital B3 that matches the real thing, even through a real Leslie. I have an SKX pro here and I never use it. I have had a lot of organs, the nearest is the B3X VST, but even this is very far away. I am trying to persuade my wife to be my Roadie, but she is refusing to move my A100 and its Leslies to my gigs. This is very unreasonable of her, she may be only 8 stone, but she goes to keep fit, so I don't see the problem.

A lot of settings on the Nord are limited to a couple or three options, whilst the equivalent on the V Stage will show a dial.
That man said he could see where they “evoluted”😂😂
I have that booker labs with my Nord C2, coupled with my old skool 122

I think the legend 70’s is more of the Nord Stage competitor.
check the price and feature set…it’s more akin to the electro than the stage…
@ Agreed. Legend One is akin to the Electro. Legend 70’s keyboard is akin to the stage except the organ.
@@brandoncrenshaw At only $1990, Viscount did a great job.
I bet Yamaha will respond to the Stage probably by November but no later than NAMM 2026. 😂😂
I bought my Roli Piano which is MPE and crazy for production and nuts with the Airwave. It's a cheap and comfortable way to jump into the MPE world.

The V stage and the Rhodes Mk 8 MIDI they are the real thing!

ALOHA FROM HAWAII
Roland made the Nord stage 5 before before Nord could finish it😅
The power of Nord is community. Marketing team needs to go hardd. Roland & Yamaha need to clock this. Get the players to demo the product!!
This has been my internal thought process for the past 8 years.

Does it have the MKS - 20 soundset??
?where do the yamaha falls short

Don’t find the Kronos line inspiring audibly or visually …maybe this new one will be different
