One finds that in mine survey everyone competes for the same roles and if 1. Mine surveyor 2. Supervisor 3. Senior surveyor (he’s waiting for the section manager to leave) 4. Section manager (this one never leaves) Are taken it seems like they become stuck. But that’s my external view 😅
you were misled, Bsc/Beng produce Engineer, BEng Tech /BEng Tech(Hons) Produce Technologist unless you go on to get MEng(Professional)., unfortunately she is not an engineer but Technologist not comfortable but truth, should've went to wits or up. Educational channel should be accurate you will lead kids to do BEng Tech because is quick and easy only to realise it later when they have to register with ECSA that they are not Engineer
