i’m not in college yet, but i’m in middle school and NOBODY in middle school has a service dog or vlogs it so watching videos of people in college helps set the example for me. i’m hoping to bring my sd soon
When in classes with your service dog, do you ever have weird random interruptions (like someone knocking on a class room door, or some one suddenly being really loud) and how does your SD handle them if that does happen? Mine is still in training and I’m not 100% sure on how he’d do if something like that happened while in class if I decide to bring him with.
Biscuit was trained for PTSD so loud and sudden noises don’t scare him much. He’s pretty good on refocusing right away if he does get spooked. My advice would be the randomly drop things when your SD least expects it to kind of get them used to loud sounds at random times but that’s just what I’d do, I’m not a trainee
@@briannajes yeah, my house is pretty chaotic, and he doesn’t care for loud sounds. It’s more of when everything is super quite, and then someone stomps down the hallway or suddenly jumps off the wall, and he will get up and sometimes let out a huff sound before going to lay down in his kennel. ( it’s his que instead of barking) That’s been something idk how to stop. He’s definitely gotten a lot better at it, but it’s still a prob to me
Hi. I was wondering if you might have any unused gear you would be interested in trading. Specifically I’m looking for a vest or nylon biophane harnesses that would fit a 55-57 pound dog

awww I'm so glad!! It's definitely a different vibe from when I brought Biscuit to high school compared to college but I think it's a quick learn

unfortunately, I do not as Biscuit is a company Service Dog therefore all gear is through them or approved by them
@@briannajes OK. Just out of curiosity, what program did you get him from?
