I brewed this and just tapped the keg yesterday. I used the hops I had, so Citra for bittering and Mosaic/Amarillo for flavor/aroma. Came out very good.
Thank you for the comment! It sure is, the ppm of those ions plays a huge role in the overall character of your beer. It is easier to measure them than it may seem. All you would need to do to start is send a sample of your brewing water to a company like Ward Laboratories and they will measure everything I mention. Then you can use the free resource Bru’n Water to adjust salt additions to control the ppm of the previously mentioned ions. Cheers!

Everyone really liked this. Exactly what I was looking for in a pale ale.
Great! I am so glad to hear that it turned out well.
Really enjoying your videos. Simple and no fluff. 🍻
Thank you very much!
Great overview of your American Pale Ale recipe! I think I found my next beer to brew:)
Great video! I’d love to see how you guys do an American Amber Ale! Cheers 🍺
Thank you! I’ll try to schedule an amber ale in sometime in the next few weeks
Great video. I will be brewing this soon, but how did you get the 15 ppm sodium without adding salt?
Thank you! I forgot to mention that I add a small amount of canning salt when I need to add sodium
1:30 Is it really helpful to quote ppm for water additions...considering i don't know anyone who can measure that?

Hey. Just wondering what you are using to make your water adjustments. Thanks
I use the free software Bru’n Water for all my water profile adjustments
The underage drinking PSA followed by you downing that pint was unexpectedly hilarious and awesome
