Did he not see what MSFT reported today for up coming capital spending? If you put a graph of how often Niles is wrong vs correct, you would never take him seriously.
Totally disagree with Dan Niles. With the new adminstration's stance of tariffs and tough immigration, AI spend will need to become even larger to help offset the lack of young workers the US population demographics shows is coming. Looking at COVID results doesn't make sense either - look at Year 2024.
Microsoft needs more power for more chips or….. hear me out… They are building empty warehouses that need a lot of power so the security guards can watch Netflix
If Mag 7 capex slow down next year, would that be good to their earnings and stock prices (except for NVDA)? Niles has been tirelessly bashing Mag 7 throughout 2024, and now he continues to bash them for 2025😂
Let's see who is right tom Lee or this guy... the score is like 32-0 so far between the two the last 2 years. I think I'll go with the winning team Mr. LEE 😂😂
He makes no sense. If there is a slow down in AI spend, it will impact Nvidia only. The balance of the mag 7 will buy what is needed for their business and proceed with growth and development.
Some of Nvidia's biggest customers (like Amazon and Meta) have already started designing their own chips, so they won't be dependent on Nvidia anymore. And, I'm skeptical of mass adoption. Apple felt pressured by Wall Street to release an AI enable smart phone and guess what - customers don't want it. AI can do some neat things, but would you pay a $50/mo subscription to generate images of the President morphed with a smurf? I think AI will be useful in some niche markets like enterprise software, healthcare, and IT, but I'm not so sure consumers are willing to pay up for frivolous bells and whistles. So far, they are not.
All these comments saying he’s a ‘perma bear’ etc., is absolutely not true at all. He’s was advocating Amazon and many other great stocks much much lower than here. He doesn’t come on CNBC and blow smoke up your xxx because that’s what you want to hear, he tells you the truth. He’s one of the best guests CNBC has - it’s clear he doesn’t give a sheet if you like what he says or not, he tells you what he truly believes is true. Is he wrong - sure, just like all of us. He’s a wealth of info in this tiny segments he is actually on the network.
As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direct I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.
I’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance.
Factos!!. After experiencing a major portfolio loss in 2020 amid the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I reached out to an investment advisor. They helped me turn my $420k into a seven-figure portfolio by providing the guidance and strategy I needed. Having that expertise made a significant difference in my investment journey.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve been managing my portfolio myself, but it’s not working out. Do you have any recommendations for a good investment advisor? I could really use some help.

That argument makes no sense. The people who will be deported work on farms and construction sites. They don't work in IT.
American AI is very expensive, we need migrant AI to do the jobs American AI doesnt want to
This guy is unbelievable...go ahead, buy more Tesla and Palantir, since Nvda and Google are expensive?!
He's been shorting Mag 7 since summer 2024. He Continues to do so into 2025.

Dan has been way wrong about Apple.
There isn’t anything on this planet that isn’t overpriced right now
Nice hair line bro! Money well spent
At first the concern was that big tech spent too much on Capex, now due to them not spending as much..

Nice Hair plugs bro!
Ok so here’s what this guy is saying “big tech is gonna crash and take the market with it but I’m buying small and mid caps “ huh?
What is the point of having a guest who keeps saying the same thing over and over.
