Normally the rain is a kill joy but here at night it added to the beauty the reflections of the city lights looked wonderful and the sound of the traffic (normally not great but here in your film ) it added to the atmosphere

It actually wasn't that late, it was probably around 7 pm. I don't think New York will ever be the same post 2020. A lot of people left and I don't think they'll be back.
