If you're quick with the pause key you'll see it. When I swap gear I'm mostly switching between Arms X and Arms 3 depending on whether or not I want holy damage. Important pieces would be Sorceress Crest (faster cast time) and Winged Boots (faster move speed), everything else is mostly just maxing INT without regard to DEF or WILL since the plan is not to get hit at all.
