For those, who like myself, have the Mental Capabilities of Forrest Gump, you need to shoot before getting off the wagon so the Stable will lock down with you inside. Otherwise it just puts you back on the street. Ask me how I learned that 3x.
No,w again for those of us Gump People. I did this several times yesterday. The only horses in the stable were mine and the Sandy Knee cops came in and lit me up so I'm missing something. Besides a Brain. I keep that in a jar in the fridge.

@@emma-leerimon743 follow someone on your horse as they are leaving the town on a single horse cart (without a roof), the cart and horse will run, release the man and chase down the horse.
Return to the stables in the horse and cart you just stole, aim your weapon to the roof and shoot. Wait for the stable doors to close once you get a wanted status and jump off the cart and into the stable of the horseyou want to steal, feed the horse twice. Jump back onto your cart and get out of there while spamming whistle for the horse to follow, get out of the red zone, and the horse will follow. Jump on the horse and you are now a new proud owner of what ever horse you fed. Take the horse back to the stable and stable it. I only did one horse at a time

Since this is story mode you can uninstall and reinstall without internet, or without downloading the updates the glitches will still work I think.

another tip, you can just feed it a few times, but once the little white horse thing shows up on the map, you’re good. i wasn’t able to get the horse out the stable, especially in valentine, but once it’s yours, save the game and reload it. it’ll spawn outside, at least it did that for me

I'm assuming to use a wagon instead of running in there or riding in on a horse.
you can't go into stable mode while in a vehicle and you cant go into to stable mode while wanted so he combined the 2, fed the horse so it was a temperaray horse left the stable and whistled for it
Equip and hold button to keep gun aimed outside before entering the stables. Hold down the button all while inside the stable then shoot the owner or around inside for witnesses to activate wanted status. This let's you free roam the stables.

UhOhDooDoo Stinky yeh just done a few more times one after the other. Wasn’t taking the bitters drink i think thats what they call. And you gotta try and give the horse the carrot a few times. But yeah has worked every time since! 😆

i tried this and it said, your horse is out of whistling range... so it assumes i was calling my other horse?
So, I tried this without the wagon, because everytime i steal a wagon the stables close
I moved to enter the stables, shot the roof, and before I became wanted i ran inside
I got kicked out, and moved to grab a wagon, but the person drove off. I turned around and the stable doors were open, I quickly ran in, expecting to be thrown out again. To my surprise I wasnt, and I was able to go over to the Arabian(i was wanting a male arab, since I had the female from the Saint denis robbed couple trick, and the one you could buy was a female, and I kept skipping time and going into jail to somehow spawn a male, but it didn't work, though I went into picture mode and saw the arab in the stall was a male, so i ofc decided to try to get him)
And I fed him, and was able to get on him, and the second i hopped out of the stall he was in, it went into stable mode. I expected it not to work, but it did! And well, now I got myself a male Arab named Shiva :>
Try stealing a wagon outside of valentine then commit a crime right before you enter.

(You can only succesfully utilize the following method is Story Mode of Red Dead Redemption 2) For the Saint Denis stables, all you have to do is enter through the small door on the side (where you can rob the cash registers, and is directly across from the train tracks), then shoot the roof and interior up while staying in the cash register area, wait until the stable locks down, and then you can walk into the regular part of the stable without being kicked out, and mount any horse that you would like until the temporary horse icon appears on the map, then leave the stable, whistle for the temporary horse, and he/she is yours. I have done this many times and this has never ceased to fail because you are already in the stable when it was locked down, for the same reason you can do this with the wagon, the only difference is that you do not have to go through the trouble of getting a wagon. This only works with stables with smaller doors you can enter through without being prompted to buy something, and to my current knowledge, this is only the Saint Denis stables, which is where you can get the Golden Turkoman, Black Arabian, and Reverse Roan Nakota. This method results in no Honor Decrease, nor a bounty, if you do it as I have stated.

No. Takes about 3 game days got be where the vampire spawn exactly at midnight.
This isn't a glitch it's a trick and no money is needed.
Literally at that same point. Did all this exactly as shown. Horse didn't bond even though I fed it like 3 times before the witness had reported me. Tried to run out while wanted and nope. Didn't work. What am I doing wrong?
Got carriage inside stable. Pull gun out and shoot roof once. Witness runs for law. Get off carriage, feed horse before becoming wanted.. no bond...

This actually works! I stole the black Arabian next thing I know it’s back in the stables so I’m planning to steal it again to sell it to Clay and Clive AKA the horse fence I’ve already sold the Gold Turkoman
As of October 13 this still works I was so scared it wouldn’t you can’t open the doors to the stalls but you can bond with them and it will become your temporary horse and will follow if you die .
Were you playing as john or Arthur? Not working as Arthur in chapter 4 for me

Tbh Rockstar doesn't give a shit about getting horses from a glitch, they only care about how to prevent money glitches.

@@trashcantacos Due to the glitch everybody was doing it, some people somehow got a virus from the glitch so Rockstar actually had to patch the glitch.

Tried today and it works like a charm, as long as you ensure you do it just like this video. Got a Champagne missouri fox trotter for free and even found a splashed white American paint at an npc camp nearby!

As of February 25, this glitch still works! Just got myself the seal warmblood from the Strawberry stables (Chapter 3). It might take a bit of doing, especially since I very nearly killed myself because I got stuck in the stable with two lawmen (while like 5 more were right outside), but if you're smarter than me you could probably do it quicker and not have to have a small gunfight while trying to escape.
I love the warmbloods my only gripe is the stats Rockstar has got this horse completely wrong the stats are more like the turkoman the Dutch warmblood warmbloods in general are amazing horses in True Life they have incredible stanima extremely Brave they will run over anything you ask the horse to go over ,they are absolutely beautiful horses Welbilt well muscled nice deep muscled up chest powerful have nice thick bodies they are a high-end Performance Horse that average height is anywheres from 16 to 17 hands it feel amazing to ride and they pack a lot of power level headed and they their willingness to want to please they almost most of them want to be more associated with your human counterpart than their own kind they they are for the most part A one-person horse they really want to please their owner or person but that person has to display but don't get me wrong these horses are smart and the person the owner needs to be a strong leader and must assume the role of the herd leader and that is when the magic happens and the warmbloods willingness to please there owner and there are an absolute Joy just to be around with their pleasing disposition absolutely the warmbloods are my favorite horse, unfortunately Rockstar does not have them labeled correctly in their stats are way wrong grossly underrated and it's really a shame cuz the Dutch warmblood such an Amazing Horse a true athlete there isn't that much in the world that'll actually phase them especially when the owner and the horse work as a team become a and become a functional working unit as a team the horse is not concerned with the spooky elements of his surroundings he's focused on completing the task of his owner , the leader and it's amazing cuz they do they trust their leader to deal with the spooky surroundings and the horse focuses on what he does best and that is to please his leader his Ryder and that horse will do anything you ask of it they're such an awesome breed the warmbloods are right up there with the trakehner warmblood and yes they are large horses they're not draft horses but they are large framed heavy horses with well-muscled deep chest and they're awesome beautiful Rockstar needs to fix the stats to represent what this breed is and I can accept that okay until you reach level four to where you get that bonding that's for the stats should be damn near maxed out on this horse because once the Horse and Rider have become a unit as one there is nothing no person or animal that you can put in front of this horse and will gladly without question the horse will just run right over it and will probably more than likely enjoy it as he is being rewarded by the by the rider for running it over they love to please and love to be rewarded with with touch and verbal praise they're amazing horses and should have really been a top-tier horse because the warmbloods fit almost anybody's work requirement and your particular riding styles

Hi All still works..thanks uploader...i just got a missouri fox trotter from black water stable.. Get a small wagon get into the stable. Shoot the window or lights till you are wanted. Get off the wagon go and mount the horse..feed it..wait for the cops to kill you while you are on the horse.when you resume the game..the horse will be your new temp horse..just whistle for few minutes and it will come to you...
You can do this in chapter 3 (and most likely all chapters), tho not all horses will be available. Wanted to get the bay roan ardennes at scarlet meadows. Shoot near the stagecoach repairs area. The guy is usually playing with a saddle over there. Then rush into the stables.

You can actually get the horses unlimited guys,just go back to the stable with a buggy and repeat

Ok I finally solved it I wasent shooting the top of the roof, you have to get wanted in order for the trick to work

The same breed of horse can be stolen multiple times later on. Just wait until they are available for purchase again then utilize this trick again. The stables usually change horses gender after a purchase but same breed and maybe same gender. Gender Identity is random when purchasing horses just read stats to find your type.
