However it might this ship is a “step sister” of Scharnhorst that was experimenting with new technology and ended up here. Even in the economic policy aspect italian fascism was different from german nazism. Even looking over this, the word "Nazi" has become and antonomasia to describe the german regime in World War 2 so in that regard, in this context, "Nazi" very much does have a nationality and it's German.
