Also: dear people that keep asking why I'm calling it a 992 sometimes and 911 other times. 911 Turbo S is the model - like "M3" - where 992 is the generation - like "e46". I often got this when calling my GT3RS a "991.2" (which is the facelift version of the 991).

Don’t loosen or tighten center lock wheels on the floor, always raise off the ground. Per Porsche instructions. -Porsche Technician
also never use a torque wrench as a breaker bar lol
That was hard to watch. Those center locks ain’t cheap😬 and if they lock up it’s a real pain to get them unstuck.

to add to this, if adams reading, go to a massage therapist and get the muscles worked. and then work on strengthening your core. i had a weak core and bad back pain, now after working out my core almost everyday for even 10 minutes it’ll help the pain. leaning over a car to work on engine and car stuff strengthens the back, in a bad way

Hey Adam, i work at Porsche in Germanny. When you want to get the wheels of and on you need to be carefull with some things. This is how Porsche wants it to be done:
1. Dont losen or tighten the centrelock on the ground. Get someone in the car, pull the ebrake und step on the brake. Then losen in the air.
2.Tighten the wheels in the air too. The same way but when they are all at 600nm you need to loosen them again 90 degree and then thighten to 600nm. This is so they seed well
this is how porsche wants it and how we all do it in the shop

Dude Porsche brakes are fucking HUGE! I was parked next to a Taycan Turbo S today, and the first thing that caught my eye were the calipers on the carbon ceramic brakes. You look at them and think, _"damn, they opted for the Airbus A380 brake package"_
I’d love to do a carbon brake conversion on my truck lol. Like zr1 brakes
@@JosephNnbs I'm gonna go ahead and say you'd probably love them until you had to replace them. Even aftermarket solutions are thousands of dollars. Plus on a truck they wouldn't be much more effective than steel rotors bc you'd struggle to keep temp in them.

Last price I got was about 700-900 per caliper for a zr1 and the rotors were about a grand each. Pads were about 400-500 each but just imagine the flex haha
You and Collette should build a Ultima RS together. With all the spare motors laying around and all the potential sponsors i think it would be a dope collab build for both of your channels and then you can track the car together.

The lens has polarizer that cut the reflection of the lights
It is use full for car photography or anything that will reflect light
It is also use in fisherman's sun glasses to see fish easier in the water without the reflection

Torque wrench to unbolt the wheels is the real flex in this video.
It’s the dumbest thing in this video. Torque wrenches aren’t supposed to be used to loosen things. Wears them out.

Always undo and torque centre locks in the air!!!! Very important Porsche instructions. Torque specs for centre lock wheels is 600nm. This has been drilled into my head over my main dealer apprenticeship.

What’s mad about this whole LZ compound is how many options they have now. You could go full factory and have every car related facility on site which would pull in huge amounts of cash or you can just have TH-camrs renting units you could turn the place into a high security storage facility for high end cars. Literally so many options I’m so excited to see what it becomes

17:10 I had a similar issue on my STI with overheating while stationary. Fixed it with a high flow thermostat to allow for more cooling. Just added a couple more holes to the thermostat to allow for it. Worked like a charm.

You want a flush cut on the tyre nibs, get some cuticle cutters, we used them on rubber rc tyres to remove the centreline
