  • These are mouthwatering pinoy foods actually very Filipino Foods, i grew up eating these, because these are my Mom's favorite as well or should i say FAMILY's fave food, honestly i will choose to eat this over lechon or other than the expensive pinoy or foreign foods......these are something to bring when we have our swimming or plan to have a boodle fight, eating in banana leaves with our group.
    Cooking these are not that tough you just need to boil all of the vegestables and dip it in the fish sauce (patis) or pinatis because bagoong has different apperance to patis because patis is more liquidize than the bagoong, bagoong is almost sauce like not as liquid as patis.... but they are both called as "FISH SAUCE".
    There are some confusion in different regions here in the PHILIPPINES because there is the other one existing which is what we have called here in QUEZON PROVINCE as ALAMANG which is made up in super small shirmp, but not a fish sauce, some of them called alamang and bagoong as BAGOONG. Yes they have similarity when it comes to taste same are salty that gives the boiled vegestables the taste.
