"This is not science, this is art" is probably the best takeaway from this topic. I LOVE that you spoke about this, Sir. For me, titles ARE important, but it is because my personal style is to inject as much subtle symbolism into my stories and characters as possible. I like to create titles that lean heavily on legends, mythologies and references to history and pop culture. A lot of what you said really had me nodding my head as well. Thank you for your thoughts, Sir!
My favourite title to date is the title of Kiznaiver episode 7: "A Battle Touching Upon the Identity of the Pain that's Seven Times the Pain of One-Seventh of a Pain"
But without a doubt the most complex and well thought title is FAIRY TAIL From the guild to its mark to the history of fairy tail the name is its own complex character
There is a northern movie that is called: "Hundreåringen som klatret ut gjennom vinduet og forsvant" (the hundred year old who climbed out of the window and disappeared). haha What a title :))
"Do You Love Your Mother and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attack?" "KONOSUBA: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World" "No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!" All very simple, amazing anime titles :)
One of my favorite books I've read recently is titled "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland" subtitled "In a Boat of Her Own Making." This is clearly a deliberately long title for poetic reasons but also basically tells you exactly what the story will be about and even hints at the tone. Also, your publishers make me think of Rainbow Dash. "It needs to be about 20% cooler."
Compare the titles of Japanese disney/pixar movies to English ones. Up - Grandpa Carl's flying house Wreck it Ralph - Sugar Rush Tangled - Rapunzel in the tower Frozen - Anna and the snow queen Moana - Moana and the sea of legend Brave - Merida and the terrifying forest The emperor's new groove - The king who became a llama The problem I have with these is not only are they unnecessarily long, they fall under a pattern that tries to be interesting, but since it's used so many times it makes itself bland. And they are already spoilers(aside from Wreck it ralph and frozen's titles). But if you watch the japanese trailer for Wreck it ralph and for moana, japan has a tendency to spoil a _lot._ It's like they're trying to see who would still watch it even though they already know what it's about.
It kinda makes sense though. Most animes movies have long names like that (Howl's Moving Castle, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Forest of the Fireflies . . .etc.) Maybe that's because people would understand them better there. Up, might sound a bit ambiguous for someone who doesn't know much English, or maybe it's hard to translate them. Japanese characters are difficult, they can mean more than one thing.
I thought about it a little more and maybe it would purposely sound like a movie just to avoid that ambiguity with other people who might not know a language as much. Frozen, brave, tangled, up..they are just one word "less is more" type of titles but it can throw other people off. People nowadays like minimalistic style, but to be universal it would have to go beyond that, either with a made up word or a few more than what's popular and normalized.
Skylar Colan This isn't Japan exclusive. One book by Lauren Oliver, "Before I Fall", was translated into German as (and I kid you not): "Wenn du stirbst, zieht dein ganzes Leben an dir vorbei, sagen sie" which translates into "They say that when you die, your entire life flashes past you". It's a sentence. What were they thinking? Haha
Nate Wec Same. I named mine "Deeper they go," but it is not that long, right? Because I almost chose to name it, "Forrest of the mysterious!", But that sounds like a cheesy rip off of gravity falls.
I've been working on this story for almost 5 years, and I've been kicking myself trying to think of a title, so this was really helpful. I might just go with "Burdens". It has a simple but powerful punch to it.
Could you do a video on experimenting with styles? I believe you already have one on "finding your style" but I'd like one where you take a look at coming up with a style. For example I'm pretty sure the simpsons style isn't something that naturally developed. I'm guessing they sat down one day and just experimented some.
DanTHEman try Gimp. its a decent program but better for thumbnails. I am an editor for my friend and I used it to do some thumbnails not that he uses them. it has loads if paint options too.
DanTHEman as an artist who has adopted digital art over the years, I've found Sketchbook pro and express to be absolutely phenomenal programs. Their inexpensive and can make things the same quality as any adobe programa and sometimes better.
WesleyB Crowen reminds me of that one song "all you need is love" ... now I can't stop thinking of a parody of the song "all I need is kill" alongside pictures of edgy sonic O.c.'s with bloody knives
Not just the title is more interesting. The manga(It's not a light novel) is heavy on the character development, something I found lacking with Edge of Tomorrow
Yeah, like everyone else said, "Edge of Tomorrow" (which i think is the best name out of all of them) was based on the manga "All You Need is Kill" (drawn by my favorite artist), which in turn was based on the light novel.
Not trying to be rude, but it sounds too obvious. A title should be unique and interesting, "Blood Blade" the words are too linked. If you think of bldes you do think of blood. Examples of this:, Stab Knife or Poking stick. Not trying to be rude, simply my opinion.
Mark Crilley, the drawing lesson I ordered finally arrived. I loved it! I, for one, know what it is like to not have a tutor, and if were to pay for lessons, it would not work with my parents budget or schedule. So it was nice to have something like a tutor, a book that gave me the fundamental principles; things that are nice to have someone with more experience remind me. Thanks!
I feel much more relaxed and comfortable with coming up with titles now. Thank you. I'm not a manga artist (maybe someday) but I hope to be a published (and hopefully successful) author soon... and titles always kind of hang over me like a rain cloud.
Thank you for these tips, they definitely gave me something to think about. For all the years that I have worked on and developed my story, I just couldn't find a title that I actually liked, so I had various working titles that never quite sat right with me, but they were temporary, and rather generic. Then I translated the title to Latin, which sounded better, more "epic" and mysterious - but it still didn't feel right to me. I'm of the opinion that it's better to find that one word that perfectly encapsulates the theme or idea or feeling and atmosphere of a story. Especially if it's an uncommon word and gets people to look up the definition, which, I think, is like a descriptive title, but sneakier. :)
I just want to say that I appreciate you and your vids! I am a longtime viewer of your content for years now and I am always pleased with your advise 😊. After years of procrastinating I am finally working on a story so this video came at a great time for me! Thanks Mark!!!!
Hey Mark. I'm new to your channel and have been watching a lot of your stuff and just wanted to thank you for wanting to bring drawing back into my life.
it's very productive to just put on your tips videos while drawing something at the same time. i havn't drawn anything for a while, so it's nice to just get it out, so to speak. thank you for that :)
dear mark, i decided to make my own manga. ill inmit its way harder than i thought. i already know how to draw anime like dbz and naruto style drawings. but making my own drawings for my own manga is harder than i thought. all of these videos that you have created have helped me progress with my style and skill. i just want to thank you you helped me alot and keep up the good work!!! sincerly your fan :)
I think these tips should help me with some of my story titles I have yet to get out the door. Right now they're called: Modern Mages Stormbreak Visions Nursery Of The Damned
I won't lie, I'd pick up a book called 'modern mages' to look at the back. But I've been looking for urban fantasy type stuff lately. Good luck finding that perfect name for it
Another way to title a story is the thing that inspired you to make it. A song that you had in your head, phrase, key word, show, etc. That's how I get my titles. Some examples of mine: "The Best Is Yet To Come" (song from Metal Gear Solid), "No Shaking Throne" (chapter from Bleach), and "Bergentrücking Drache" (combination of a phrase and a word, literally "Mountain Rapture Dragon")
Some of my favourite books on Wattpad have titles that are somehow concise and interesting while also relating to the story. You end up loving them. I love it when a book title does that. For example, The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield (Romance) Sweet as a Strwaberry (Teen Fiction)
I’m young, but I’m creating a manga story and it’s call ed Province of ST. It’s Sci-fi, fantasy, action-ish, and I think it’s coming along. Thank you for the help with all your videos! 👍
I've had this video in my watch later for the last 4 years while I was still in high school. It is only now that I have a strong genuine urge to write a story because I was inspired by one of the web novels I've read recently. Aight less reminiscing now and more watching the video.
The process you describe of taking the general flow of one thing and using it to make something new, is called "modeling". For some reason I couldn't help but think of the book, "No Ordinary Day," as I watched this video.
I was thinking about making a short comic/story manga so this video is useful ( but of course every video is useful ). Nice video Mark and keep going with this series I really enjoy it :)!
Here's a bunch of titles I came up with for some stories I'm working on. *- GAT: Grand Arsenal Tournament* A guy gets his hand on a device that can transform into any weapon he can think of and heads off to partake in a battle tournament. *- Urban Reaper* A guy dies and becomes the Grim Reaper's protegee. *- The Last Eon* Hey, have you ever heard of Star Wars?! *- ARM: All Reign Mighty* I kinda just came up with a quote on the spot that goes: "All reign mighty, but only one can reign supreme." and I'm not really sure what else to do with it. *- Stalking Melody* A girl named Melody is being followed on her way home from school, and the stalker whistles a little melody whenever he's close. Double meaning!
Just stumbled across this video. Thank you so much for the series related to writing - it is always beneficial to learn from the master! One thing I wanted to mention though is about "Clockwork Orange." The original book was written by a British Anthony Burgess writer in 1962, and the book title has a deep meaning actually to British community. The title refers to a Cockney saying "as queer as a clockwork orange," which means appearing natural outside, but being artificial on the inside. Naturally, people in the US don't use Cockney, so we don't understand the title meaning, but I thought to leave it here in case you were interested. I would also recommend reading the book - the movie is missing the last chapter without which, in my opinion, we don't get to see the logical conclusion to the story.
Mark crilley I've started sculpting recently and Im proud of what ive done and want to get better at it. i see youve made an origami video just 2 weeks ago, and since I've been watching you since 6th grade, almost 5 years ago, i would like to see you do a sculpting tutorial, because youre the one who ive learned from on yt the most. Even if you dont do s sculpting tutorial I still want to thank you for teaching me so much drawing techniques and for being an inspiration.
I drew most of my characters before even thinking of a title... 26 chapters in, and I still haven't thought of a title... I might end up giving it a vague title like TKubo did w/ 'Bleach'... >.>
Kiss of the Spider Woman - so awesome! Was it really from 1985? And Catcher in the Rye. You mentioned some of my favorites. Plus your wonderful art. Thanks for a wonderful video, Mark!
Thank you for your great advice, mark crilley! It was very useful when I was thinking of a title for a video game I am going to make. I had no idea what to call it then, but now, I have the perfect title!
i went into Blick today for the first time to get a pencil sharpener and i couldnt help but giggle when the lady showed me one and demonstrated it with the same pencil you use. my fiancé looked at me funny cause i was giggling
Neville Brody: one of the most celebrated graphic designers/typographers: variants of his typefaces are used in many 90s comics (and Pixies album art, I vaguely recall).
I'm working on the scripts for two different graphic novels, and I can't settle on a good title for the one of them. One is called "Good Intentions" and really fits the theme of the story and its characters, and it's nice and concise and easy to say. The other has changed a lot but is currently "Things Can Only Get Better." Although I really like the meaning, I've always felt it is too clunky. Unfortunately, I discovered that the only really good name I had come up for it was already taken by a comic, and so I couldn't do that.
When you mentioned titles that are very long and complicated on purpose, all I could think of was a book we have in Germany called "der satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch" (I don't even wanna try to translate that!)
^^ hey Mark,I'm hoping you can cover a specific topic soon please!!?- 1( how to use a Ruler, metric scale and converting proportion sizes) for example if we have a standard to thumbnail of a character and we need it bigger or smaller in perspective.how to do that andI be as accurate as possible reconverting- ) (I'm guessing mm or cm?) 2 (Also how we should pick out heights etc for brooms and item's on a street or in a bedroom for a manga/general illustration of any kind.) (For backgrounds)scenery and one point, two point and three point perspectives( how to scale and convert the perspective sizes-) 3 (Lastly how to check out forshortening to know how accurate that is on the scale. ) 4(Also a huge thank you I've been checking out your video's and studying for year's and it's helped me become a better artist. My chosen style is a manga style btw^^ even though I'm American. I'm now trying to create the full name over time but this single problem of (measurement) is in my way :3 halp please)-. 5(Thanks again for, all you do!Mark Sensei xD. Ps Dont forget the bacon and blushys ?assuming that may be a thing sometime soon again hopefully!
A Clockwork Orange and The Catcher in the Rye, two of my favorites. Never saw the movie for A Clockwork Orange and probably never would've even if I hadn't read the book
When you pulled out that book at 17:07, i was like, that book is awfully familiar. Then I looked to my right and realized I read that book before, never knew you wrote it
what are your thoughts on this: Someone recently in collage(amazing at drawing) told me that drawing is in the family and thats why she was so good at it. Do you believe with enough pratice i could still be talented like you or does that make sense that it is in the family
by the way edge of tomorrow is based on a manga based on a novel. The name is All you need is Kill, the artwork is by Takeshi Obata the guy from Death Note and Bakuman, amongst other great works...
I have a question/ idea for a video. How do you transition to a different scene in a comic book? And how do you convey time passing? Do you have in subtitles, "The next day" or something?
AWESOME VIDEO!! This will be super helpful! But I laughed SOO hard when he said the 10th one, because the ENTIRE point of the video was giving tips on how to create a great title, and then he drops everything and says "But really, don't worry about it!" SO IRONIC!! 😂😂😂
I thought of naming my comic "The Mystery of the Vagabond" but I got really sad that the name has been taken by a Japanese comic/manga (well just the name vagabond was taken)
"This is not science, this is art" is probably the best takeaway from this topic. I LOVE that you spoke about this, Sir. For me, titles ARE important, but it is because my personal style is to inject as much subtle symbolism into my stories and characters as possible. Thank you for your thoughts, Sir!
My favourite title to date is the title of Kiznaiver episode 7: "A Battle Touching Upon the Identity of the Pain that's Seven Times the Pain of One-Seventh of a Pain"
I forgot that title existed. Thank u
My favorite really literal title is One Punch Man!
Yeah... It sounds perfect for the anime and the manga, but besides that it sounds so short yet accurate and amusing
It's the same thing with my hero academia and dragonball
I know this is 3 years old but I love the title Attack On Titan!
But without a doubt the most complex and well thought title is FAIRY TAIL
From the guild to its mark to the history of fairy tail the name is its own complex character
There is a northern movie that is called:
"Hundreåringen som klatret ut gjennom vinduet og forsvant"
(the hundred year old who climbed out of the window and disappeared). haha What a title :))
How about "The Window to Nowhere" for any English localization?
And I thought "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" was a long title.
BOFURI: I dont wanna get hurt so i will max out my defence
It's Swedish, not Norwegian
I remembered the manga/anime series called 'Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?' when you mentioned short titles are better.
Anime has a way with throwing that rule right now out the window.
"Do You Love Your Mother and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attack?"
"KONOSUBA: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World"
"No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!"
All very simple, amazing anime titles :)
You mentioned cover art as a possible topic for another video. I'd be super interested in seeing that.
yes
Seeing him doing the line work on this piece has something really relaxing.
Compare the titles of Japanese disney/pixar movies to English ones.
Up - Grandpa Carl's flying house
Wreck it Ralph - Sugar Rush
Tangled - Rapunzel in the tower
Frozen - Anna and the snow queen
Moana - Moana and the sea of legend
Brave - Merida and the terrifying forest
The emperor's new groove - The king who became a llama
The problem I have with these is not only are they unnecessarily long, they fall under a pattern that tries to be interesting, but since it's used so many times it makes itself bland. And they are already spoilers(aside from Wreck it ralph and frozen's titles). But if you watch the japanese trailer for Wreck it ralph and for moana, japan has a tendency to spoil a _lot._ It's like they're trying to see who would still watch it even though they already know what it's about.

"Grandpa Carl's flying house" honestly gives me "Ms. Frizzle's Magic School Bus" vibes
Somehow Mark puts out the video you need right when you need it. Thank you Mr. Crilley!! This helps immensely!!
Glad I can help, Briana ^^
markcrilley This came out a week too late for me :( I already named my comic... Still awesome video!
So true!
Nate Wec, what did you name it??
Nate Wec Same. I named mine "Deeper they go," but it is not that long, right? Because I almost chose to name it, "Forrest of the mysterious!", But that sounds like a cheesy rip off of gravity falls.
I've been working on this story for almost 5 years, and I've been kicking myself trying to think of a title, so this was really helpful. I might just go with "Burdens". It has a simple but powerful punch to it.
I would have liked "Toyz in the hood" better than Toy Story to be honest.
Though the title would have been misleading if there were no hip-hop gangbangers or a gangsta rap soundtrack or stars in it!
"I'm Mrs. Nesbitt nigga!"
That does go hard!
One movie title I thought was kinda weird is " It's a mad mad mad mad world", never could remember how many "mad"s there were.
Good example of a "lengthy to the point of being gimmicky" title. :)
I recently (after a few years) started drawing again. A LOT. And I couldn't be happier :-) Also I started drawing digitally now
Could you do a video on experimenting with styles? I believe you already have one on "finding your style" but I'd like one where you take a look at coming up with a style. For example I'm pretty sure the simpsons style isn't something that naturally developed. I'm guessing they sat down one day and just experimented some.
Ricky what do you drawing digital with? ( what program I just got a PC and want a drawing program
Nice advice, but you forgot to ink the finger!!!!!! My OCD can't handle this!
Sad thing is, "Edge of Tomorrow" was based on a Japanese light novel *"All You Need is Kill"* which is a MUCH more interesting title.
WesleyB Crowen exactly
WesleyB Crowen reminds me of that one song "all you need is love" ... now I can't stop thinking of a parody of the song "all I need is kill" alongside pictures of edgy sonic O.c.'s with bloody knives
Not just the title is more interesting. The manga(It's not a light novel) is heavy on the character development, something I found lacking with Edge of Tomorrow
The manga was based on the novel~
Yeah, like everyone else said, "Edge of Tomorrow" (which i think is the best name out of all of them) was based on the manga "All You Need is Kill" (drawn by my favorite artist), which in turn was based on the light novel.
im working on a comic and once my mom heard the name she didnt like it, i say this with faith (not having watched this video) thank you it helped
Artistic wierdo what Was The Title
Kane Domican
DON'T STEAL IT!!!!!!!
Blood Blade
Artistic wierdo don't worry I won't but btw cool title
Kane Domican thanks!
Not trying to be rude, but it sounds too obvious. A title should be unique and interesting, "Blood Blade" the words are too linked. If you think of bldes you do think of blood. Examples of this:, Stab Knife or Poking stick. Not trying to be rude, simply my opinion.
Mastering Manga is a very good title imo. I never would have found out about you without it, and it's nice to hear that you fought for that title.
Thank you :)
Mark Crilley, the drawing lesson I ordered finally arrived. I loved it! I, for one, know what it is like to not have a tutor, and if were to pay for lessons, it would not work with my parents budget or schedule. Hey Mark. I'm new to your channel and have been watching a lot of your stuff and just wanted to thank you for wanting to bring drawing back into my life.
Thank you Dylan!
10 ways to tell backstories
Please
^^^!!!!
I've been trying to come up with a new title for my story because I've greatly changed the plot since I've named it, these are great tips!
it's very productive to just put on your tips videos while drawing something at the same time. i havn't drawn anything for a while, so it's nice to just get it out, so to speak. thank you for that :)
Oh dear god thank you Mark! I am absolutley TERRIBLE at coming up with titles TuT
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a pretty good name!
dear mark, i decided to make my own manga. ill inmit its way harder than i thought. i already know how to draw anime like dbz and naruto style drawings. but making my own drawings for my own manga is harder than i thought. all of these videos that you have created have helped me progress with my style and skill. i just want to thank you you helped me alot and keep up the good work!!! sincerly your fan :)
AH I NEEDED THIS TODAY!!! I didnt like the title I had (The Shadow Guard) and was worried about it and WHOOP TH-cam SAVES THE DAY THANKS
Thanks for the advice Mark! Titles can be pretty challenging sometimes.
I think these tips should help me with some of my story titles I have yet to get out the door. Right now they're called:
Modern Mages
Stormbreak
Visions
Nursery Of The Damned
thetattooedyoshi
I think the "Visions" sounds the most interesting 😊
Wow Nursery of the Damned sounds pretty cool to me, definitely catches my attention.
I won't lie, I'd pick up a book called 'modern mages' to look at the back. But I've been looking for urban fantasy type stuff lately. Good luck finding that perfect name for it
Those all sound really cool already :)
I agree on Nursery of the Damned... I'd read that. :D
For example,
The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield (Romance)
Sweet as a Strwaberry (Teen Fiction)
I could never be as good as you, but your videos help me a lot!
I forgot about mastering mnga three. man, now I gotta go and get it. Darn you CrilleyXD
"learning form the master", that's why I'm following you.
That intro music was great, you should think about realising a album as a personal project.
Having art ads with art videos makes me smile. 😊
Also, I don't know what to do for the cover art of my book, so could you do a video on cover art design please?
I’m young, but I’m creating a manga story and it’s call ed Province of ST. It’s Sci-fi, fantasy, action-ish, and I think it’s coming along. Thank you for the help with all your videos! 👍

I was thinking about making a short comic/story manga so this video is useful ( but of course every video is useful ). Nice video Mark and keep going with this series I really enjoy it :)!
Hey Mark I just bought your Mastering Manga 3 and im just waiting to get it in the mail. can't wait to use it 😊
Thank you so much for your support!
markcrilley of course gotta support one of the people who influenced me to draw Manga
A long title that always stood out to me was the movie:
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Keep up with the good work man :) you're an inspiration to us all!
Here's a bunch of titles I came up with for some stories I'm working on.
*- GAT: Grand Arsenal Tournament*
A guy gets his hand on a device that can transform into any weapon he can think of and heads off to partake in a battle tournament.
*- Urban Reaper*
A guy dies and becomes the Grim Reaper's protegee.
*- The Last Eon*
Hey, have you ever heard of Star Wars?!
*- ARM: All Reign Mighty*
I kinda just came up with a quote on the spot that goes: "All reign mighty, but only one can reign supreme." and I'm not really sure what else to do with it.
*- Stalking Melody*
A girl named Melody is being followed on her way home from school, and the stalker whistles a little melody whenever he's close. Double meaning!
my first comment in this channel and I just want to say:
best TH-cam channel ever.
I should've suscribed way before
Thank you Diego!
and you answer to comments! Thank you for this invaluable content man, it has helped me a lot :D

Aaah! My yt inspiration just replied to me!! Even though you didnt say yes or no to my request a thank you from you means so much for me! :D
It gave me belly tingles that the second search result on Google of Akiko is your book.
What about Akiko Glitter, the spicy lady in the Just Dance app from The Emoji Movie, in theatres today?
your channel is perfect for me. I'm making my first animated movie, and that requires both skill on story design and drawing.
My comic is called Crazy Cat Lady, it's based on a girl turning into a cat :)
Love it! Lol
This character your drawing reminds me of Ed from FMA
Already gives me title ideas like "Renown: The Passengers" and "Fascinator: Convert"!
You and your videos always make me laugh! It makes me feel more comfortable to be myself in the publishing world!
Thank you Kassandra :)
hi Mark long time subscriber you inspired me to become a manga artist thank you very much
I drew most of my characters before even thinking of a title...
This video has helped me come up with my titles
•Shattered eyes
•The last day
•ethereal solitude
Those are some I have (they are really dumb)
When they say your title is bad but you're too proud to change it but then you can't have your family around an empty table so you end up changing it.
I am gonna love it this type of drawing
Neville Brody: one of the most celebrated graphic designers/typographers: variants of his typefaces are used in many 90s comics (and Pixies album art, I vaguely recall).
Yay theses tips helped me a lot thank you mark!
I just thought out a name for my novel it's "Heart of Ink"
Thanks, I really enjoy your topic videos, you have charisma.
"My youth romantic comedy is wrong, as I expected" is an example of a long title. It's a great series by the way.
Thanks for the help I was having difficulties coming up with a title
If I ever make a comic book Ill Give you credit for helping me
OMG MARK u came to my school in Detroit when i was in second grade and i didn't even know who u were but now u blew up congrats i love your videos
Hey Mr.Cirlley, big fan, That chibi was awesome.
When you pulled out that book at 17:07, i was like, that book is awfully familiar. Then I looked to my right and realized I read that book before, never knew you wrote it
Thank you for your support!
I want to make a story, but need some advice about making a good ones.
Thanks for all the tips
you vides are so helpfull for a new starting out artist and writer. thank you for doing all of this!
I love Sideways too!
Hi mark, can you pls make a video on tips with colored pencils?
I would really like a video on how to compose/ideas for book covers! 😊😊😊
Mark, you think you can make a video about titling and issue of a comic or book, like the subtitle step but more in depth?
You'll be happy to know that I googled Brody's Ghost. Your book was the top search.
Thanks I always have a hard time thinking of names for really anything
A video on cover art would be awesome, Mark!
i just finished mikey falls and i loved it and i know that i didn't spell the title of the book
Thank you Rhiannon!
what are your thoughts on this: Someone recently in collage(amazing at drawing) told me that drawing is in the family and thats why she was so good at it. Do you believe with enough pratice i could still be talented like you or does that make sense that it is in the family
Great vid, been watching Marks channel for a long time, he does incredible work.............
Mark that was really creepy, as you were talking about long titles, I was think of the same book in my mind.
My favorite intentionally long title is for the cartoon series, "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!".
by the way edge of tomorrow is based on a manga based on a novel.
The name is All you need is Kill, the artwork is by Takeshi Obata the guy from Death Note and Bakuman, amongst other great works...
simply regular pencil. love it.
The Space Between Us is a pretty good title!
Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for this series. It helps me a lot and I love your videos keep up the amazing work. :P
I thought of naming my comic "The Mystery of the Vagabond" but I got really sad that the name has been taken by a Japanese comic/manga (well just the name vagabond was taken)
