I think the words " first Creator Experimental Card participants responsible for each of the role changes:" imply that they will do these more often. I'd say once per two months, alternating between these and a serious patch with ideas taken from this would be a good idea

I suspect content creators are hyping it up because it's at least a step in the right direction, but if they are only gonna do this for the next year then that step means nothing.

They could even do some week-long challenges with specific rules like 5 Hanzo's and Ana vs 5 Genji's and Mercy and even get help from the community. So many ideas to make the game more fun and active without going to 5v5 and releasing PvE events

Rein shoots close and has 2000 more shield to protect orisa. You get now CC by bap dmg and exo boots while unkillable bap is passively healing orisa.

Got back on Overwatch with a friend and we've not had this much fun playing the game since year 2 of the games release. They nailed it with this experimental card in terms of fun.
They should keep letting content creators help make actual experimental patches, and then through some sort of voting system by players after feedback, certain elements of these patches can be added to comp servers by devs
Absolutely. Playing this patch with my friends made overwatch feel new again. None of us knew what to expect or what the heroes did. So much fun. Ice block mei kills are awesome
im pretty sure that they didnt use super for the experimental because super would have just genuinely tried to balance the characters instead of doing funny stuff

They should make an April fools where if you use Baps primary or secondary fire once, it keeps firing automatically until your empty. Doesn't matter if you press any buttons, it fires alternating between primary and secondary at perfect intervals

The community can make a fun game and bring ow back to its glory days but devs choose to make it stale and make people actually loathe the game to the point of quitting.
Overwatch is struggling because Overwatch became nothing but OWL and super serious gameplay/balancing. If Bliz just injected FUN into the game, the tryhard competitive scene will grow with the increase in playerbase.

Last time I had this much fun was for the April's fools patch: there were some genuinely good and interesting ideas that I wish had been pushed to live but alas
But it has the exact same problem as OW1 but more. Tanks have crazy kits, DPS are barely touched. Its not fun, its different. Three weeks of constantly playing an even more broken version of Overwatch will not feel fresh and new, just bad like it always has.
If there's only going to be 1 tank in OW 2v2, Tanks NEED to be this kinda OP. Sigma without shield looks much better, but he still needs something else to replace the shield. One thing that might be fun would be time displacement beam that targets an enemy and puts them back where they were "X" number of seconds ago, but doesn't put them back to their previous health or status like recall does.
Experimental is super fun, but alot of players ruined it for me. I got 8 games held hostage by dva and hammond rush spawn camps and me just trying out random stuff got buttfucked the whole way
