Every person on dance moms said that it wasn’t scripted nor was it acted. It was produced, and heavily edited. But everything that happened on the show was real, even if it was produced and/or instructed, the reactions and the tears were still all real

That's what I still do a lot of times when I get yelled at. I'm an adult and I would cry out of anger instead of sadness like I did when I was a child!

When you are a child you have no right to say anything disrespectful until you have earned that right. In my household we strictly go by “you don’t have an opinion until you turn 25”. In my family’s eyes you have zero rights and opinions and you are not considered and adult before 25, and if anyone does other wise there will be major issues.
