It's me again Wendy. No you were not boring at all. And the sewing sounds, etc were not annoying me one bit. This was so perfect for me. Thank you again. God bless. Becky B
Thanks so much sweetie ❤️❤️
it doesn't matter how long your videos are. on the contrary, the longer the better. They are never boring and always interesting and educational. Many greetings from Germany
Thanks so so much ❤️❤️
The longer your videos the better! I so enjoyed having breakfast and watching ❤️😘
Wenfy, this was an amazing video tutorial💞. You explained everything so well and I really appreciate it as I am sure everyone else has. The video was only 35 minutes. Wish more were only 35 minutes. Thank you so much💖💖💖
I love your journals Wendy thanks for sharing how you construct them. On this one I especially like the closure. I’m going to make one for sure now. I would love to share a tip that I use to keep the eyelet from coming out of the hole when putting one into fabric. I punch the hole in the fabric with the smaller hole on the crop-a-dial and then put the 3/16” eyelet into the smaller hole. The fabric will give enough to put it in. Then I crimp it. And bobs your uncle, lol. Have a great day!
Haha thanks Catherine ❤️❤️
No way was I bored. Not at all. This is genius! I’ve never seen this before. I even love the way you tied your charm. I had never seen that either. Mine kind of stick out funny. I’m fairly new at the junk journal phase. Lol. This is so pretty. I love the neutral colors. So well done. Hugs, treen 🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍
What a lovely way to close a journal... I like that its included on the cover and not something just clipped on. Going back into my '70s macrame period, that is a Lark's Head knot... a pretty name for something basically utilitarian. And as a former bridal seamstress, I love the sound of your machine. TY
Not boring at all. Very helpful & love the pencil pouch close thingie. Gorgeous. 😎😎😎👏👏👏
Thank you for showing how to do this! I have to admit that Im glad the eyelet pulled through, it saved me a lot of figuring out how to fix it. Definitely not boring.
Thanks so much ❤️❤️
Good morning Gayle love it! Great closure I’ve never seen that before! You are Never boring thanks so much for sharing have a very blessed weekend ❤️🌹🙏

I like the fabric tape behind the eyelet too. This is absolutely perfect for something i have in mind, you did it just at the right time. Thank you so much. By the way, if someone is watching a video that has machine sewing in it they must be prepared for the noise. Do now think you should apologise you are showing us something we need to see being done. Bye 💁🏼♀️
Thanks so much Pat, have fun making your journal ❤️❤️

Awesome tutorial Wendy, I'm so happy you showed us how to create this cover. I'd actually love a video, on how to fix boo boo's or how to correct our accidental mistakes, like what you did with the eyelet. TFS 🤗💐🌼🌸

Great information Wendy, thanks so much for sharing this. I've got a large canvas drop cloth I've been wanting to use for journal covers with maybe some additions to them later on. I have no desire to make journals for selling, I just want to be able to make them for myself since I know I'll never be able to buy a journal from you or any others that make journals on TH-cam. So again, thank you ever so much for doing this. I appreciate it more than you know. Hope you enjoy your time at the cottage. Sure wish I had a cottage or anything similar that I could go to and be able to create without distractions. Okay, one more time - THANK YOU. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas

Thanks Ruby, give it a try ❤️❤️
I would have given you more thumbs up on this one if I could have. 👍👍👍👍👍👍. Yeah, I figured out how to do it. I'm 62 and that's an accomplishment for me. LoL. God bless. Becky B
P.S. this is going in my favorite projects playlist I've created for myself.
Oh gosh thanks Becky ❤️
So clever!!❤
Well done.
Thanks ❤️❤️
32:44 I think reinforcing the fabric with that fabric "sticky tape" was actually a better idea in the long term; I'd probably try to do that myself in future as the underlying fabric has a tendency to fray with usage. Thank you very much for showing the whole process for this great cover too.
Just love this idea, and thank you so very much for sharing your how to’s. Would you share the link on Amazon for the 7oz canvas that you use? It is difficult to buy some items because we don’t know if it is good quality unless someone trustworthy shares their experience using certain items. The journal cover is beautiful as well. I always love your design layouts.
I’m not good with links, but it is the 7oz canvas from the GravitationOnline store on Amazon. I hope that helps ❤️❤️
@@WendysJournalAdventure thank you much appreciated
This was an ingenious cover idea! I know im watching a year later but i had mad some fabric pages ago with Artymaze and couldn't decide on my finish. Tyfs 👍🩷🇨🇦💐
Very helpful! Thank you.
What a wonderful idea! Thank you so much or sharing this. Can’t wait to try it on my next journal!
Thanks Sarah ❤️❤️
Awesome! Thank you
You are most welcome ❤️
Wow cool closure and a very helpful video...thank you Wendy! in place of leather flap could we use another sturdy fabric swatch like the pen holder side? would that work? Asking for a friend,,,haha (for me haha)😊😊😊
