I just recieved my Flysky Noble NB4 and love it even though I've only used it twice so far. Would love to see you do a review of 1!

I use mine for Crawling. Works great. I'd like the to be able to use AA batteries though. It lasts all day though.

    This radio is FRAGILE!!!!
Had four of them all had the spring in the steering wheel break easy to fix just bend over two loops instead of one
Also the scrolling button on top became intermittent after a few short months annoyed couldn’t fix and
    SENT THEM ALL BACK!
Buy the other one FS GT3B much better radio does take 8 aa batteries instead of recharging lipo otherwise all the same features
Only issue I ever had with it was the brake trigger snapped and had to glue it back on still using it after three years!!!
Receivers are small and cheap wish they were antenna less

Have gotten this for christmas and im loving it. I run my race buggy, basher sct and a couple of boats on it and not a single issue so far. Great quality and features, even ABS. Good job by flysky!

My kid just got one of these , with a crawler that was given to him.... will make a decent radio for a few bashers or Tamiya kits and stuff that isn't driven often or doesn't need super precise control like his race buggies....

I have quite a few used RC cars that did not come with a radio. Bought the green gt3c and a few extra receivers. Thing works great. I like all the adjustability for different types of vehicles. Right now I have it on an original e-maxx, an scx10 ii, and a tt01 rally car. I heard the receivers with the blue tinted labels are waterproof, the silver ones are not. Haven't tested it tho. Great channel, by the way.

Excellent value! All the features you need for racing (trim, dual rate, epa, etc), led display, lipo battery/charge port and the steering wheel/trigger tension is quite good (but not adjustable). The instructions are pretty basic and dont fully explain how to program the settings - there is a specific pattern to follow or changes are not saved. Plastic is a bit cheap but seems pretty resilient. I bought this for my son and I'm pretty impressed by its functions and range 👍

When programming the settings, there is a specific pattern to follow or the changes will not be saved:
      1. Turn Power 'On'
      2. Press 'Enter'
      3. Use scroll wheel to select option.
      4. Press 'Enter'
      5. Use scroll wheel to select channel
      6. Press 'End'
      7. Adjust setting to desired value
      8. Press 'Enter' and setting will be saved
*You need to repeat for each channel or option.

thanks for your feedback. yeah, the menu system/button sequence is definitely the most annoying thing about this radio!

Yeah it's miles better built than it used to be. It would be great to see hacked gt3c vs gt5 video.

Oh man.... I had this radio when I started in the hobby. It was great for a while. Bit then the scroll wheel started to glitch and the lipo would not hold a charge. So I got a Futaba 3pv and that when I knew the Flysky had some lag 🤣 Good stater radio and it's cheap 👍

I use mine with my granite and I love it. BUT... the click wheel and scrolling are reversed from how you think they operate when adjusting expo and dual rates.

Just curious...but...what happened to the full review? People know that, in general, they made numerous improvements to the 'C' version...but, how does it truly compare, and what are your thoughts on it? I'm currently using one for my primary "rescue boat", although I'm also planning on using it with up to three other boats (all my other vehicles & vessels are on my Futaba 7PX).

How does this radio differ from the FS-GT3B?

    • @jerryvolpini7987
      @jerryvolpini7987 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

The biggest difference is that the 'C' has a rechargeable battery (instead of 8 AA batteries) that can be charged in the radio, making it very light. It also has a different scroll wheel/adjustment buttons that are easier to use. The power button is in the middle of the steering wheel so, we will see how that holds up.

There is a custom firmware for it, which adds a LOT more functions. Unfortunately for more recent ones the MCU needs to be replaced, since it was written for an older revision. The chip itself costs basically nothing, but a hot air station and some skill is necessary.
