1. Great to have you guys back. Love your BatReps. 2. Some absolutely critical swings (some hits, some misses). Andrew’s poor dice felt brutal at times. 3. The Rohan army bonus + Charging into Woodland Terrain was a great question! Still not sure where I stand on that. 4. The throwing spear kill, then continue I think is a silly one that community play can override. Kill non terror model, roll to charge terror model.
Thank you for the kind words! Ultimately we have settled on Rohan getting the bonus, which is not how we ruled it on the day. Andrew dice are a thing and it’s brutal!
A battle well fought overall. You played it correctly in this game at 18:50 letting you roll for Terror and charge after the Heroic Combat. Just the text on screen confused me. Terror says "before [the charging model] moves" - meaning if you charge an orc warrior, Heroic Combat and then charge a Black Numenorean, you roll Courage vs Terror immediately after the orc dies. This doesnt require the declaration of the secondary target during the Move Phase. This kind of oops I cant charge scenario only comes up if you somehow kill the orc during your move phase with throwing weapons or impact hits and forgot to declare a multi-charge onto a terror model, so you cant charge them.
Thanks, that makes sense! But I THINK the part referenced on the screen isn't after a heroic combat, but rather after a throwing spear killed the original non-terror target.
Yeah; I know Andrew definitely went back and forth on Gorbag/Goroth but I do think his list is pretty strong. By having Suladan be his leader he can afford to be a bit more combat centric with the WK on beast.
I'm not sure where that is, but if it's the Witch King's charge or a hurl, they automatically suffer the "knocked flying" result, which is the same as rolling a "1" on thrown rider.

Looked like you rolled to wound straight away for the throw rider test. Isn’t it that you’ll roll and only on a 1 you then roll again one S3 hit ?

There is a paragraph in the Monstrous Charge special rule that goes over this in more clarity.
