My older sisters always told me that at the age of four I was fascinated with Sally Field in The Flying Nun. It ain't that difficult. I'm from the South and followed NASCAR. I understood every word that Bill Elliott, and Ward Burton said. I shoulda been a translator!
If you grew up in or around any of the 4 main areas, you are correct. That accent died a long time ago. However, Texas is a BIG place. You can still hear folks that sound like that in a lot of the smaller (and dying) towns. Of course Teeter gives it a hard spin for the show.
Yeah I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and this ain’t it lol. The strongest, twangiest accents are in east Texas, Longview area to be precise and it doesn’t come close to whatever this actress is trying to do.
The actress who plays Teeter has superlative acting chops. I can’t imagine how anyone could possibly inhabit that character and pull it off with such ease… simply amazing to behold.
Really hoping she doesn't slowly lose her accent like Scarlet Witch. Would also absolutely love it if she keeps saying southern slangs or sayings that takes a sec to decipher along with that deep accent like "Oohh wee! It's hotter than a half-fucked fox in a forest fire" in teeter tongue it would probably read "Oohh wee! aish hawtder then eh heff-fowked fawx einna fhorsfawyre"
It took me a couple of years to finally break down and start watching it. But holy shit this show is fantastic. Teeter is one of the best supporting characters.
Not a fan that he didn’t step in sooner. If you brand someone I’d hope you wouldn’t need reminding. Would have been better if Rip didn’t know she was being let go and came into everything late. So she defends herself to people who don’t know - not in front of someone who knows but fails to say. The timing here undermines his character, makes him disingenuous, cowardly - “lilly livered” as Teeter might say. Still solid show but yeah I have notes lol
Would of paid to see teeter knock out mia . Watching every Yellowstone episode over the years was worth it to see Jimmy walk in to the bunkhouse with a new fiance and mia being there. Again after Jimmy basically broke his neck riding rodeo, mia tells him get back on, actually is was more like "if you rodeo you can have me, if not you can't" that's love? I can't lie, outside of Beth & Monica, Teeter is our very favorite lady 💯 I absolutely LOVE how she's softening up Colby with her brazen vocabulary & rough exterior 🥰
I love Teeter, Beth kind of grew on me. For some reason I just could never understand Monica, never got around to having like for her on the show.
*Teeter* though, she's just awesome through and through.
@@jeffl1484 ya Beth is just a pile of crazy but I get it now 😁 Monica seemed weak at first but it's her culture that she's attached to and unfortunately her people have been fighting the same battle for centuries as the Duttons have for 100yrs; she's disgusted w/ it all & I understand that as well 👍 Teeter is just a magnificent force of nature 👌
Monica is annoying AF
@@arohasyme2251 😂 -whelp... she was here first; so there's that 💯😀
I really loved Beth. She was ruthless but sweet to the ones she loved. She’s one of my favorite characters. I also loved teeter.
She's by far the most unique female character I've watched since...well, pretty much since I began watching anything. Roughly 1969. My older sisters always told me that at the age of four I was fascinated with Sally Field in The Flying Nun. Ya, I get teased about it by family, but something about her was able to captivate a four year old boy. Something about Jen Landon as Teeter has the same effect.
k😊
You must not be a big tv or movie person if you think she's the most unique female since 1969
@@BigManStan I need to be to have an opinion? I was unaware that you were setting the goalposts on this matter. Did you miss the very specific wording in the opening sentence of my comment? "...the most unique female character I've watched..." I purposely left you out of the statement, as I'm completely unaware of your preferences. That's how these things work. I say what I like and you try to understand that I'm not attempting to influence your subjective feeling. Then you try really hard to resist the urge to jump in and dismiss a differing opinion. It's far healthier than what you're currently doing.
@@p.g.reitsma7245 well you are now AWARE that I am and I thank you for now noticing
@@BigManStan Look up the word 'delusional'. It's an avoidable state of mind.
Man love this show!! Somehow when I don't have anything to watch and havr some free time I just randomly watch a Yellowstone episode.
That first time she smiles.. Melts the polar ice caps.
I am so glad someone made this video. Teeter is such a great and unique character! One of the many reasons this is such an amazing show. 🙂
They way she calls Colby “BABY” is so cute
Somebody actually TYPED OUT HER DIALOGUE ONTO A PAGE.
@@leachimy24 😂
The commitment of the actors to attend "Cowboy Camp," while learning how to ride and rope, is commendable.
Can't help but falling in Love with Teeter ❤❤❤
Yes I like Teeter . This is a very clever way to gauge popularity.
"Is your name Peter?" Hilarious!!!
🤣
I didn't realize Boomhauer had a daughter.😍😍😍
My favorite scene is when Teeter first enters the bunkhouse and pulls out her posters of shirtless cowboys. Haha!
"What about my other ears?" - I'm not completely sure what this is referring to, but Jen's delivery is pure gold.
I think she said arse as in butt cheak
@@eliasibrahim1957 oh no it's definitely ears
@@Frorten Phonetically, she says "airse", which in Teeter-speak is arse, the English (as in England) version of ass. She's asking if he wants to f**k her in the ass, and when he declines, she offers her "other airse." Do I need to spell that one out?
I think she's referring to her "ears" down below ... lady parts.
I came late to the Yellowstone party and before I even knew about the show I saw a clip of Teeter and I thought holy hell I can't stand listening to her. Then I started watching the show and now I love Teeter. She's awesome and I always want to see more of her! Go on, getcha some baby! 😁😍
The way she yells "Lets get naked!" always cracks me up.
I'd climb over a thousand "Beths", just to get to ONE "Teeter"!! 😂👍
Right...
Beth is just a spoiled entitled bratt w daddy issues!
Damn straight.
I bet Jennifers Dad would be so proud of her. Michael Landon was a western tv icon. He was the best. I bet he was an awesome Dad. Teeter is a great character. I would love them to dive into her backstory.
Colby being continously shocked and in disbelief and yet her magic worked on him
I’ve been watching a lot of old reruns of Bonanza. She looks so much like her dad. I love watching him play Little Joe Cartwright.
I was late binging “Yellowstone,” but the minute Teeter made her appearance, I fell in love with the character! 😂
2:42 I really don't think that laugh was scripted, the delivery of that line was just so well done that he couldn't hang onto it
man! i forgot this scene but thanks love me some teeter. "That ain't Spanish she's a Texan". Honestly, I can hear her voicing over Sandy on Spongebob Squarepants.
1 of the best tv series ever love it. Teeter is a scream love her
She's perfect do to the look his wife gave him.. No words needed..
Love dem Alfa's eh!
When I watch Yellowstone and Peter is talking I turn on closed captioning.
Makes her so much easier to understand.
🤣🤣
It ain't that difficult. I'm from the South and followed NASCAR. I understood every word that Bill Elliott, and Ward Burton said. I shoulda been a translator!
@@theanomalous1401 What the hell did you just say?
Teeter is one of the best unique characters I've ever seen. Blindsided me 👍🏾
Ive lived in Texas my entire 48yrs and never heard one person with that strong of an accent.
If you grew up in or around any of the 4 main areas, you are correct. That accent died a long time ago. However, Texas is a BIG place. You can still hear folks that sound like that in a lot of the smaller (and dying) towns. Of course Teeter gives it a hard spin for the show.
Go NE toward Arkansas
Yeah I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and this ain’t it lol. The strongest, twangiest accents are in east Texas, Longview area to be precise and it doesn’t come close to whatever this actress is trying to do.
Half the time, it sounds like someone put a hot iron to her tongue and I can’t understand a word she’s saying
@@libertygates4944 Iv spent a lot of time in Karnak. Went to Marshall to pick up something the other night. I live in SW AR.
The actress who plays Teeter has superlative acting chops. I can’t imagine how anyone could possibly inhabit that character and pull it off with such ease… simply amazing to behold.
I was thrilled to find out Teeter, in real life, is Michael Landon's daughter.
She’s great and appreciative of the fans!
I am quite sure that her dad is looking down from heaven saying. Thats my girl .
She has bonanza in her blood. We miss you so much Michael.
Wait what?!!!!
@Heather L
Her father is Michael Landon. He played Little Joe Cartwright on Bonanza and later Charles Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie.
Micheal Landon is or was her dad ?
@@331Grabber AKA Pa. ;)
Wow I didn’t know that hell no wonder she’s such a good actress it’s in her blood
Teeter is Calamity Jane from Deadwood and she needs more scenes please
Really hoping she doesn't slowly lose her accent like Scarlet Witch. Would also absolutely love it if she keeps saying southern slangs or sayings that takes a sec to decipher along with that deep accent like "Oohh wee! It's hotter than a half-fucked fox in a forest fire" in teeter tongue it would probably read "Oohh wee! aish hawtder then eh heff-fowked fawx einna fhorsfawyre"
Nailed it.
The look of pride Rip gave Teeter when she was talking to John ❤
It took me a couple of years to finally break down and start watching it. But holy shit this show is fantastic. Teeter is one of the best supporting characters.
Great scene when Rip taps his chest and says, "Hey, this means something."
This whole country needs more of that; “Teeter, this means something”.
@ excellent observation on Rips character. (Rip shouldn’t have to be reminded. (Unless he just defers that hard to Dutton and won’t say anything).
I continued to watch and listen. Yellow stone is 10 Star ratings.
Can you believe someone that swears like that can be Michael Landon's daughter?? She's an absolute treasure!
She's Micheal Landon daughter!? Talking like that!?
Yep. Jennifer Landon.
@@wadewilson8011 Love her. :D :D :D
@@wadewilson8011 Wait❗ What❓ You mean to tell me she's "Little Joe" Cartwright / Michael Landon's daughter? Fancy that!
Yes. His youngest daughter. Met her mom when she was working on "Little House on the Prairie". Made her acting debut on "As the World Turns."
My favorite line when the boy said when they were playing cards. Did she bit her tongue off?🤣
Would of paid to see teeter knock out mia . Get back on the thing that almost killed you?
I said the same thing.
@@stephaniebondurand2808 We all did, well, not in those exact words. But we're all on the same page.
Gotta get that life insurance policy, before you encourage the poor bastard to kill himself.
I WAS SO F**KING HAPPY WHEN HE GOT RID OF THAT SELFISH B**CH ......ANOTHER GREAT SCENE
Awww the way she hugged on Rip was very sweet
I don't know why they don't include; "the Bar" in this reel, that was truly the best of Teeter.
