    This generation of s40/v50 are peak car design, both for interior and exterior. It still looks fresh today. And 5 cylinder engine is classic. Also don’t forget excellent paint job and interior quality on these cars

    It’s really cool to see you review a car you own. You can tell us the reality of owning the vehicle and the real experience it gives you. This is a nice car!

    I bought my 2007 Volvo s40 t5 in 2021 as my first car. Not only is it a great driver, it didn't flip over in a 75mph collision on the right fender/passenger door. I love watching others' shared love for this vehicle.

    I love my 2008 S40 T5 AWD! I bought mine last year from a private owner. He took great care of it. Pretty much mint condition. It only had 90,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It handles great. It's fly, but not too flashy. I get plenty of compliments. I've had several pervious cars but I think I'm going to stick with Volvo. Definitely would recommend!

    The s40 is a gorgeous car I think, it looks so sophisticated but not too showy like an Audi. I'm looking to get one next year the 1.6 diesel, great video Its nice hearing a review from someone who genuinely loves their car and looks after it.

    The owner himself bought an s40 2.4 petrol in 2005, and bought a c30 2.4i 170 hp automatic in 2019. Volvo is a safe, comfortable and in its own way identical car with its design not like everyone else’s and even after 15-20 years it looks decent... Now I’m planning to get my son a C70 convertible as his first car, primarily because of safety and it’s also a five-cylinder... Thank you very much for your video! It’s very nice to watch and at the same time be the owner of an equally beautiful car!👍

    love the car, I loved European Entry level Vehicles, but always love Volvo, so when it came time to buy my First European Car, I went with the Volvo S40, I picked up a very cherry 2005 Volvo S40 T5 AWD 6sp manual and love it!

    You can always install LPG on these cars. Especialy in Holland i hear lpg is popular.

    Excellent video, I'm currently looking for one exactly like yours. How are the maintenance costs? Did you have to replace something out of the ordinary? Sensors, Modules?

    • @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB
      @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Max, thanks for your comment. I spend an overage of 400 euro a year on maintenance at the Volvo dealer, this is just a regular check to change engine oil, brake fluid, change interior and oil filters and have a general inspection of the car. So far I did not have to replace any parts. After a long drive on a warm day, the parking sensors start acting strange, beeping as soon as I reverse the car with notting behind me. Next time I start the car (cold start) this issue is gone. So far so good. You can go below 400 euro if you go to a normal garage. The 5 cylinder is not a exotic engine but I rather have a Volvo mechanic work on it. Cheers!

    mooie video, is deze auto wel een beetje zuinig op bijv. 80 wegen?

    • @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB
      @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tussen de 6.5 en 7.5 liter op 100 KM op 80 wegen. Het is niet een heel zuinige auto, zeker niet als je hoger in de toeren gaat rijden, je krijgt er echter wel een betrouwbaar en goed klinkende machine voor terug ;) Bedankt voor het kijken.

    • @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB
      @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, the 140HP 5 cylinder. It is not that fast but very reliable. In the Netherlands 100 KM/H is the maxium speed, so no need for a faster car. In Germany I take it up to 160 KM/h. Thinking about an software tune, will add another 30 HP. Planning on keeping the s40. Do not really like any of the modern cars tbh.

    Do you have any issues with the key turning to the 0 position and releasing? I bought my 2005 volvo s40 a few months ago from a 1 person owner, when buying the vehicle she mentioned you have to put your foot on the brake in order for the key to release. Is this true? Its soooo annoying. 😒

    • @EEPRODUCTIONSKLB

      No issues here, so far only needed to replace the brakes at 180k kilometer
