- ledge_approved So you beautiful little people got a break down here for you pallet wrapper top motor gone out on overload but due to the motor and load over being wrong ratings we've come across a molten mess.
MPCB Definition: A motor protection circuit breaker
(MPCB) is an advanced device designed to protect electric motors from electrical faults and overloads.
Protection Capabilities: MPCBs safeguard against short circuits, phase loss, and overloads, enhancing motor lifespan and performance.
Automatic and Manual Control: They feature automatic reconnection and manual disconnection options, adding flexibility in motor management.
Sizing Importance: Selecting the correct MPCB size based on the motor's nameplate details is critical to avoid under or over-protection.
Integration with Other Devices: MPCBs can be integrated with additional control and protection mechanisms like contactors and under-voltage protectors to provide comprehensive motor management solutions. #breakdown #electrician #multiskilled #maintenance #engineering #fluke1587fc #engineeringapprenticeships #engineeringknowledge #overload #electricalfire #electricalfire #mpcb
I stand with all Ledge approved
Thank you brother means lot 👊🏻🤓 your definitely ledge approved!!
That motor is a 0.18kw and the rating plate states 400V in star connection has FLC of 0.64A.
So, the MPCB overload should be set at 0.64 x 1.15 = 0.74A.
No wonder it was burnt out so bad!
