VIXX(빅스) 'My Valentine' Showcase Stage (쇼케이스, Scentist, 향, EAU DE VIXX, 오 드 빅스)

그룹 빅스가 정규 3집 앨범 'EAU DE VIXX'(오 드 빅스) 발매 기념 쇼케이스를 17일 오후 서울 광진구 예스24 라이브홀에서 개최했다.
빅스의 완전체 컴백은 지난해 출시한 네 번째 미니 앨범 '桃源境'(도원경) 이후 1년 만으로 정규 앨범 출시는 2년 6개월 만이다.
팀 컬러를 확실히 담고 팬들을 위한 메시지를 전달하고자 자작곡 참여로 열의를 더했다. 데뷔 초부터 빅스 앨범의 랩을 담당하고 있는 라비가 이번에도 전곡 랩 메이킹으로 참여했으며, 엔은 수록곡 '닮아'에서 공동 작사 작곡 실력을, 켄은 수록곡 'Navy & Shining Gold'(네이비 앤 샤이닝 골드)를 통해 라비, 혁과 함께 공동 작곡에 참여했다. 막내 혁은 'Good Day'(굿 데이)와 'Trigger'(트리거)두 곡에서도 공동 작사 작곡에 함께하며 팬들에게 메시지를 남겼다.
컨셉돌 빅스는 이번 앨범을 통해 '향기의 유혹'이라는 주제를 타이틀곡 '향'(Scentist)에 담아 무대로 선보인다. 국내외 히트메이커들이 공동 작업해 세련된 멜로디와 감각적인 가사가 완성됐다. 독특한 커버 티저, 비주얼 티저, 향기 포스터, 음소거 안무 스포 등 남다른 전략과 이색 마케팅으로 향기를 시청각적 효과를 입혀 입체적으로 표현해내 컨셉돌다운 도전이라는 평가를 받고 있다. 타이틀곡 '향'(Scentist) 무대를 통해 완벽한 칼군무까지 예고하고 있어 연일 호기심을 자극하고 있다.
