I had my property logged off a few years ago and ended up throwing the logger off my property. His skidder was a new guy and I watched him all day long run over 4" and smaller trees that normally one day would grow to be a big tree. They was suppose to "select cut" and I asked the one guy that was cutting the trees, I said what type of cutting do you call this, that your boss told you to do, he said "clear cut". That's when I threw him off my property. I would have really been happy with Rick. Dan Salas, nice video and a very nice story!!!

Wat wasted resource horses are now so much kinder to the environment a throw back to yesterday way of life. Slower easier pace but them animals truly are wort there value. Modern logging machinery is all power which means damage leaving a foot print on environment forever. Horses are gods creatures respect the environment beautiful spot beautiful animals great video. Great to see modern machinery horses working together. 👍🇮🇪☘

I had the privilege to work a few wood lots in my younger days with my brother in law. and we went in to wood lots that had already been worked by a few "Professional loggers" and the amount of damage they did to the land. the trees and the clear cut mentality. was obvious to me a newbie. Even I could see the land that was ripped apart, the tree damage they did, the young trees they ran over. etc. and the leaving of the soft wood for the hardwood etc. we did three lots that season and all three by different company's and all three the same just ripped apart. But fortunately I did get to meet some really good ones too. and glad to see they outweighed the rip off artists. Thanks for nice video Rick keep up the good work and good luck! ECF Ps that was in the 70's and now I'm pushing 80. no more logging for me! ECF.

Wow. I prefer Percherons to Belgians too. I've never seen a black one with a white mane and tail before. She's beautiful!

She is a young horse. Some go grey to white earlier than others. She may be a Steeldust Grey?

You do great work and like your video. But don't knock the guys that prefer diesel over grain. Most do nice work, the ones that don't hurt us all.
