OMG that was great. My little man ,a short legged dochshund ( a piebald) always gets between me and may Son and will Not let my husband come near me , unless I have said Ok. If he thinks me or my son are not getting along ,Tobias jumps in my lap and barks ,then he cuddles me and then he puts his mouth over mine to stop our argument. Btw ,we are never angry at one another ,but do have heated talks bout the world and the mess it's in. Lot's of Love to you guys.😅😊❤❤❤❤

They clearly didn’t want to harm him but they probably felt like the woman was the one that needed more protection so they tried to do that in different ways: Noah was trying to distract him and calming him by putting himself between and seeking attention; my dog also used to do that in an uneasy situation when he felt like the situation needed to be “defused”.
The second dog also tried to distract him by trying to turn the situation in a playful way.
They’re no seeking for any direction.
