Absolutely amazing, man, and you make it look flawless. Would the dynamic change if it were partial or full squad?. Also, i hope you an the guys have a great time over the new raid on d2 :-)
Oh and small to full team doesn't really change it apart from making the bridge crossing and crota kill faster, all the other ways I do this in the vid is how I always run it ;)
How are you doing that jump? I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Everytime I try to sword across it kills me like halfway there. It's like I'm not getting enough height
Hey Chelsea, I'm sure if you're jumping from where I did your height is fine. Either side of the bridge is a kill box but above the bridge is safe. So from that rock I start on I sword fly diagonally aiming roughly at the big pillar on the opposite side then after a few swings I turn to the right and aim at the plate, If you aim straight at the plate you'll hit the kill box so you need to go around it. If you're on xbox and want a hand I'm happy to show you how to do it :)
At the beginning of every encounter I'm pretty sure I show my inventory ;) All the raid gear because of it's perks with sunbreakers for double solar grenades. Mida and max agility for the lanterns, bad juju for the bridge to get your super back fast, any of the exotic swords for ur yuit, and fate bringer/sleeper for crota. I also go year 1 starfire protocol before dropping a heavy in the crota fight because it gives you more sleeper ammo, then I switch back. Hope that helps, good luck!
I cant get across the bridge on the gatekeeper part...I can avoid the kill box but if I do I dont have enough height to make it to the other side. Also when I shoot at the gatekeeper, it says he is immune. So if I did manage to get over there, what would I do?
You need to have your agility up high, I also use the raid boots which have increased agility when holding the sword. As for the gatekeeper it can only be killed with the sword. It's one of those practice makes perfect things, if you're on xbox I'm happy to help out :)

The crota fight is rough, in this vid I got it on my 150th something try lol but it was something I wanted to beat so I stayed at it. Good trick is where I shot sleeper to get the oversoul, in that spot sleeper ricochets 3 times so you can down it with 2 hits
Not sure if you’ll see this or if I will get a notification if you respond, but the only question I had, was when you were shorting oversoul with sleeper, was there a specific way you had to shoot it? I noticed multiple damage numbers and I’m not sure if you have to ricochet it to be able to kill it in two shots. If I solo it will probably be in year one but this is all very helpful for when I’m carrying lfgs. But thank you, my Xbox gt is ATHEON121 btw...
Hey mate and nice pick up! If you jump on the rock just where I was and shoot where I shoot the sleeper shots ricochet 3 times which is how it's possible to do it without a team. I believe you can use the shotgun from Vault Of Glass too as it does extra damage to oracles and the oversoul registers as an oracle, but I haven't tried it solo ;)
I don’t know if you even play destiny anymore. But would you mind raiding with me and some other people. I’ve done Crota’s end multiple times but I’m doing kings fall on Saturday and next week probably whatever the weekly featured raid is. I’m not that experienced so your help would be appreciated.
Cheers mate! So the deal with enrage is how much you hurt him, if you damage him too much but don't kill he just insta enrages over and over which I'm guessing is what's happening to you. See how on the second to last sword I go easy on him? If you get his health any lower than when it's between the "C" and the "r" of his name he enrages so when you get there back off, and on the next sword kick his ass haha. If you get really stuck and I have a bit of time I might be able to jump on over the weekend and give you a hand :)
D1 was in such a great place at the end and the raids I think are FAR superior to that of D2, it's totally worth it if you like your PVE and still loads of people play it, like me ;)
Whenever I get to the final damage stage, crota is engraved before he even gets to the throne, so when he’s walking back he becomes enraged. How do I fix this?
You're doing too much damage, easy to do. You'll see in my run the I go real easy on him with the second to last sword. If you go too hard he insta enrages and you get infinite oversouls. You want to leave just enough health on him to be able to kill with the last sword ;) hope that helps!

Cool but now I realize if some group of 6 people can't do this and 1 person can then I want bunjie to come back this game instead of destiny 2 and add match making and private mode because I'm tired of people not knowing what to do so even though I've done Crota 390 like 25 times and out of those times everyone died or wiped 10 times or even quitting and leaving. Thank you so much for uploading this video, I've been trying so hard to solo the Crota's End raid since I haven't been so successful in finding players for it. I just have one question. I don't particularly have most of the weapons and armour that you used in this video (With the exception of Bad Juju since Xur sold it last week :D) like the Mida, Wrath of the Machine Sniper, Found Verdict etc etc. Are there any potential replacements for those that may not have your specs and equipment, any recommendations? Again, thank you for sharing your methods of soloing this raid, this'll be a great video to keep going back to if people get stuck! :D
Hey buddy. Mida is super handy because with max agility and Mida you can almost outrun the thrall in the first bit which lets me do it without the lanterns, not sure about an alternative. The wrath sniper I use just because I like it ;) Bad Juju for getting your super back faster for the bridge but you're sweet for that. Any shotty will do fine again I use that one because I like it, no other reason. I do equip the year 1 starfire protocol chest piece just when popping a heavy synth because it has a perc that gives you more sleeper ammo, then I switch back. I know this is super late and chances of you responding are slim but I would love some help with the raid, I’ve been trying to solo it for all of today and have had the worst rng. I keep dying to boomer nights at the last damage phase, so even a tip would be amazing, I would ask for some help but it’s been a whole year since you’ve played destiny 1 I suppose.

Hey buddy, yeah it's pretty rough it took me most of a weekend to get that kill. The really hard bit is not to do too much damage towards the end which triggers permanent oversoul but enough that you can finish him off on the next try. Sadly I don't have xbox live anymore mate so I can't help, but awesome effort getting that far!

Hey buddy I'm focussed on D2 atm because of the new raid next week but after that I can help if you'd like ;) the trick with the self rez is when you get over the bridge don't push forward, see how I stay on the tip, if you move too far forward it'll rez you over on that side!

ok so I completed the solo run on lvl 30. But I'm still struggling with the sword fly now on 390 (as i did before) I've tried max agility and mida and completed the jump 1/10 times. I don't understand the margin of error

You make it seem so easy (/>.>)/ anyway I don't know the likelihood of you seeing this but I can do everything in the raid relatively smoothly besides crota :/ I seem to get unlucky with when he moves so when I kill sword-bearer he's already left the throne or he leaves as I'm throwing my grenades so I don't really know what to do about that. Plus if I do manage to get a good run going I get the notification that enrage is near when he's around half health and I don't know whether its me taking too long between attack phases or my raid just breaking but I tried two manning it with a friend and was having a similar problem. I was just wondering if you'd ever experienced something similar and if you have any tips or if I'm just really unlucky. Anyway, love the videos :D
Hey mate first up thankyou very much and awesome effort having a go at this! It's so rewarding the first time you get it. If he's moving before you get the sword bear down you need to be faster that's all, see how I bait him into coming below that tower to keep him around while I check to see where Crota is? That way I can kill him as Crota is headed back to mid. If you back right up in that below tower room the sword bear always leaves so you can kinda control it. As for enrage there are 2 things that will trigger it, taking too long, and if you do too much damage when he's really low without killing him he does that constant oversoul thing and it's pretty much a wipe. If you get his health any lower than the "C" and the "r" of his name without killing him he does that enrage thing. I hope that helps and let me know how you go :)

This helps massively, I was unsure about whether time was a factor in crota and thought I was doing something else wrong but I was just being a little slow and i'd miss an attack phase since he would run to one of the sides. I'll definitely be attempting it again tonight :D one thing that delays me a lot is getting my super as I seem to always be a little off when I kill sword bearer and have to wait a 15+ seconds despite me killing all the thrall. Also I was wondering how you would go about two manning this raid. My thinking was doing pretty much the solo strategy but splitting up the roles. I play warlock so I stagger crota and take care of oversoul and my teammate who mains hunter takes the sword and hits crota as well as create orbs with his tether . But I'm wondering if there is a different way you could suggest? I've seen plenty of those videos where two people kill crota with one sword etc... and I'm more just looking to complete the raid with ease and not so much speedrun it xD anyway thank you so much for the help
Too easy @@dylandolniak9735, if you have 2 people you don't need to worry about the super at all. Also depends on difficulty with solo, from memory you need the 3 solar nades on 390 to down him but only 2 on normal and hard so using starfire protocol for the 2 nades is perfect. Also see how I watch his health after the nades go up, you want to jump up and sword him at the time I do so he drops to one knee just as you get up there. As for the 2 man when I do it we just run the 6 person strat for boss but with 2 people, like one at rock and one in mid near the glass of crystal room, or sometimes the second person comes to rock with me on sword and we do it from there.
@@dylandolniak9735 For a 2 man you want a hunter on goldy for the oversoul, the sleeper trick only works shooting it where I did from the rock as it triple ricochets which is enough to get it down. As for D1 I still love it and go back to raid every so often :)

Did they make the sword swiping slower on the bridge part? I can seem to make it even with max agility
You need to jump and float for a while before starting the swing to make it mate, otherwise you fall short

Yeah at age of triumph the mechanics changed. You have to kill a bunch of gate bearers now so you have to cross the bridge multiple times

My problem is crossing the bridge with the sword. I fall short every time XD. Do you spam the melee button of precisely tap it in rhythm
You need to aim toward the middle of the bridge or else you will fall every time

I'll definitely be attempting it again tonight :D one thing that delays me a lot is getting my super as I seem to always be a little off when I kill sword bearer and have to wait a 15+ seconds despite me killing all the thrall.
Also I was wondering how you would go about two manning this raid. My thinking was doing pretty much the solo strategy but splitting up the roles. I play warlock so I stagger crota and take care of oversoul and my teammate who mains hunter takes the sword and hits crota as well as create orbs with his tether . But I'm wondering if there is a different way you could suggest? I've seen plenty of those videos where two people kill crota with one sword etc... and I'm more just looking to complete the raid with ease and not so much speedrun it xD anyway thank you so much for the help
Too easy @@dylandolniak9735, if you have 2 people you don't need to worry about the super at all. Also depends on difficulty with solo, from memory you need the 3 solar nades on 390 to down him but only 2 on normal and hard so using starfire protocol for the 2 nades is perfect. Also see how I watch his health after the nades go up, you want to jump up and sword him at the time I do so he drops to one knee just as you get up there.
As for the 2 man when I do it we just run the 6 person strat for boss but with 2 people, like one at rock and one in mid near the glass of crystal room, or sometimes the second person comes to rock with me on sword and we do it from there.

@@dylandolniak9735 For a 2 man you want a hunter on goldy for the oversoul, the sleeper trick only works shooting it where I did from the rock as it triple ricochets which is enough to get it down. As for D1 I still love it and go back to raid every so often :)
