Winter Pier Fishing-Fulton Pier Rockport/Fulton Texas

My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary while spending a few days on the Texas Coast in Rockport. Of course we had to take some time to get a bit of fishing in at the Fulton Pier. We Had a blast and my wife got to fight the biggest fish she's ever hooked into. #fultonpier #pierfishing #texasfishing

Where are some of the places you've been able to get some salt water fishing in?

Check out goose Island next time. People catch multiple species decent sized fish, Longer stretch of Pier and you don't really have to pay per rod like they do at Fulton Pier. I also heard lots of good things about the packery channel too.

Great catch for your wife! I have been trying to get my Hubby to take me to the Fulton Pier. I caught 2 Big Uglies last year in Ingleside, wore me out! God bless!

Nice brotha sorry for the loss. I remember when my wife hooked a big black drum there at the end of the T and I helped fight it in took almost 10 minutes. Luckily some bystanders had a pier net if not I would have been screwed.

Actually it was a black drum. A very big one.

Pause the video at 8:42. You can see the black dot on the tail, which indicates that is in fact a Texas redfish not a black drum. Nice catch man!
