The show had been cancelled and moved to ABC for the last season, and there were a lot of changes like the house interior being a new set, they changed the theme, Maggie played by a different actress, Willis barely showing up, much of the focus on Arnold's friends outside the house.....it was almost its own spinoff like it could've been called "Arnold Drummond's Place". He also wasn't in great health and was tired of doing the show, you can tell the difference in energy and that he's going through the motions.....So it might be he just didn't want to say the line anymore, but it could also be that NBC had the rights to certain things like the catchphrase still, I know David Letterman ran into similar issues with his old sketches and names when he left NBC.
