I would add Nick Drake, Richard Thompson, John Martyn, Bert Jansch and Phil Burdett (but all in different ways). Nick Harper is no slouch either. If you count Roy as being "folk" then Fish too.

the original cover had a picture of the WTC on it with the words "no one ever gets out alive" so its just a eerie coincidence
