  • i have too much weakness in roy harper. i consider him the greatest voice of british folk.
    always amazing and timeless.

      The original artwork for the single featured a photo of lower Manhattan, including the Twin Towers. This song was from 1982 and has no connection to 9/11.

      That had to be awesome! What a rare experience..how many people can say they’ve been to a Roy Harper concert..99 percent of the people you ask have never heard of him

    I would add Nick Drake, Richard Thompson, John Martyn, Bert Jansch and Phil Burdett (but all in different ways). Nick Harper is no slouch either. If you count Roy as being "folk" then Fish too.

      the original cover had a picture of the WTC on it with the words "no one ever gets out alive" so its just a eerie coincidence
